Piotr and his team built a 450 sq. ft. master suite and laundry room addition for our existing 2/1. We absolutely love our "new" 3/2 that matches the style of the existing home. We really couldn't imagine working with another contractor for future projects. His team was respectful, creative and hard working. They appeared to use higher grade building materials than the other projects we see being built around town. They're finished the project within their estimated completion date during even though it was complicated by an extremely wet winter. We had a couple of minor miscommunications but nothing unexpected for a project this size. Piotr responded by making the appropriate fixes and changes.

I have heard horror stories about contractors and was doing a complete remodel (touching every room, moving kitchen from one area to another, bathrooms, etc). Met PK and so glad I went with him. He and his team are amazing! He has a great eye for design to enhance the project, worked well with my selected vendors and his relationship with local vendors was extremely helpful. He is fair, straightforward and trust worthy to do it right (and will tell you if something is not going to work, while trying to find a work around). His team pays attention to detail and are reliable. We moved out of a house and months later, back into OUR HOME thanks to PK. Highly recommend, twice over!

I highly recommend Piotr and the team from PK Remodeling. They did an amazing job with the renovation of my home that included repaired plaster and painted interior, replaced old knob and tube with new electrical, kitchen remodel, fireplace redesign, and new hardwood flooring. The quality of their work and attention to detail is excellent. After a fire left my home uninhabitable, I fired the first contractor that was hired to repair the house because they made promises they didn’t follow through on and they stopped responding to phone calls and emails. That’s not PK Remodeling. Piotr has excellent communication, said what he was going to do and did it. He is professional and knowledgeable in construction and design. He kept me informed of the schedule, was fair and honest through the renovation, and has a good reputation with the city inspectors. At the beginning of this process my hope was to restore our home to the state before the fire but PK Remodeling exceeded my expectations and it now feels like a new home. I can’t believe this is the same house! Piotr and his team are truly a pleasure to work with, highly-skilled, friendly, and hardworking. Special thank you to Miguel, Jesus, and Guillermo. We made the extremely fortunate decision to hire Piotr and his team in late 2020 to take on the remodel of our newly purchased 1950s house in the East Bay. They began with re-roofing the house and then worked with us through much of 2021 to totally remodel the kitchen, reconfigure a couple bedrooms, completely transform two bathrooms, install new windows and new electrical wiring, and generally spruce up everything throughout. From the very beginning, it was clear that Piotr possesses an eye for design and attention to detail that sets him apart from many other contractors. We came to him with a mostly developed plan and he made a couple key design suggestions that we incorporated that ended up making a big difference for the project. Piotr worked with us patiently to finalize a scope of work that fit within our budget. His price for the project was quite fair - not the cheapest we could have found but definitely not the most expensive. Piotr works on a few projects simultaneously - His team is large enough to tackle most aspects of a project, calling in outside help for specialty task if needed, but the team is small enough that there was consistency in the project from beginning to end. (Did someone say tile setting? Armando is a complete magician.) Did everything go perfectly? No, I've worked on a lot of construction projects and nothing ever goes perfectly. We dealt with lots of material delays due to Covid supply chain issues. Mistakes were made. However, Piotr and his whole team take a lot of pride in their work, and they never hesitated throughout the project to fix something if it wasn't quite right. Also, when they were done with the project (and in fact at the end of most days during construction also) they left everything looking immaculate. We are so happy with the result! Of the contractors I've worked with over the years, very few of them have the combination of skill, attention to detail, and personal character that Piotr and his team do. My recommendation - Talk to several contractors, including Piotr. Once you meet him I bet you'll like him as much as we do.

Piotr and his team did an amazing job updating a Tv room for us. The demo of a brick fireplace and updating the electrical and new drywall. All done perfectly and it came out fantastic.

Piotr and his team did a *fantastic* job with a fairly extensive remodeling job in our Oakland home. They updated around ten rooms, including our kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and bedrooms. It would take forever to list everything they did, but some of the highlights included installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops, replacing three fireplaces, swapping carpets for new hardwood floors, extending our deck and building in a hot tub, painting the entire house, adding and tiling a bathtub, and totally remodeling a small bar in our game room. I ended up deferring to him on multiple design decisions because he has a great eye. He was also willing to purchase many materials on my behalf and invoice me for them, rather than making me do all the purchasing myself—a very helpful service. Piotr also went above and beyond to make sure our move-in was easy; he even agreed to unbox, build, and place a bunch of our new furniture so the house was livable from day one. I'm so grateful to the whole PKRemodeling team for their excellent work!

Piotr and crew were very professional, they took great care to protect my house during a bathroom remodel. He had great remodeling and esthetic advice. The project went on time and on budget. I will definitely have him back for other projects. Scheduling with him may take a few months but worth the wait.

Piotr recently completed a remodel of the kitchen and both baths in my house, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Unlike other contractors I had contacted, he had great ideas for improving the appearance and functionality of the rooms, and his quote was very reasonable. He has a good working relationship with some local vendors, which helped in getting nice cabinets, tile, and countertops. Early into the remodel, we talked about doing some additional improvements and his quote for the added work was modest. I was able to get out of the house for two months, which helped the crew make the changes. If had to do it over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Piotr is a rare contractor in that he is flexible, accommodating, and honors his estimates of time and cost for your project. He wasn't the least expensive bid we got, nor was he the most expensive. But we are SO glad we went with him - he and his team did a stellar job remodeling our bathroom. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship were top-notch. He had Jesus and Armando working everyday for 3 weeks, and these guys did everything - demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, tile... They were truly jack-of-all-trades builders. They had excellent dust control and clean-up, they were creative problem solvers, and we were impressed by their talent and work ethic. Beyond their skills, Piotr and his team were warm and affable guys that we enjoyed being around, which is a very important consideration when deciding who you want hanging around your house for weeks if not months! We can't wait to bring them back for our next project :)

Piotr and his team did a fantastic job on a remodel of our master bathroom. I enjoyed every minute of working with him and his highly trustworthy team. Every step of the process from filing paperwork with the city to preparation to renew went smoothly. The finished room is exactly what I wanted. Some creative problem solving was needed once existing plumbing was exposed and Piotr was up to the task. You will not be disappointed when you hire Piotr and his team for your remodel.

Piotr and his team are certainly the best professionals in the business! Piotr did our kitchen remodel and helped us get rid of the 1970 Brady bunch kitchen and transform it to a sleek modern kitchen. I met with several contractors but decided to go with Piotr as I was confident, like the other yelpers here, that he could deliver on the vision that we wanted. From the first meeting, he was proactive with suggestions on how to make the kitchen a space that will work for us. Piotr has a keen design eye and is able to make great suggestions that provided a wonderful facelift for our space. He was definitely a great partner in the stressful task of remodeling. He was also very accommodating to our changes and was able to add additional requests onto the growing remodeling list. What I appreciated most was that he would always show me alternatives so that I could make an insightful decisions. We had an architect that suggested a 16" beam overhang ; and Piotr was the saving grace that saved us from the pitfall of having that 16" nightmare in the most conspicuous area of our living space. Instead, now we have a beautiful bamboo beam which adds architectural interest to our space and at only 7", our guests would not need to dodge when passing between living and dining areas. When he saw that my stone fireplace was not going to work with my spanking new sleek modern kitchen, he threw out another cost effective, fabulous idea to give my fireplace a facelift and we can't be happier about that. Piotr was also always accessible via text, phone, email and that to me is a major PLUS and I felt informed in a whole process of what the schedule was and who was coming to work on what in the house. We left our house keys with Piotr and crew and never had an issue with it; they are trustworthy and reliable. His crew are all amazing and hard workers. Remodel is not a dust free zone but Piotr and team help to ensure that the mess is contained and they clean up each day and are respectful of our home. Piotr promised us 8 weeks on the remodel and he delivered to that; impressive considering we had several hiccups that did not stem from him. Piotr is the package deal - designer, contractor, project manager all rolled into one. He truly cares about your entire project - how it looks and functions and the quality of the work. You can't get better than that!

Piotr and his guys did an amazing lob with a small bathroom in my small Craftsman bungalow, which was built in 1911. The bathroom had been retrofitted out of one of the bedrooms. A large window prevented installation of any medicine cabinet. There was no heater and was unvented so mold was everywhere. Piotr and his team took everything to the studs, checked for any wood rot in the floor joists, widened the shower, built a toilet inside the wall and turned it 45 degrees so there is plenty of room for one's legs. All of the linoleum and wall paper were replaced with Carrera marble. In summary, PK Remodeling turned a dungeon into a spa-like bathroom with a lighted medicine cabinet, transom window, and surprised me with a floating lit ceiling. They finished within budget, schedule and scope. Form and function - beautiful!
