I hired Pi Building & Design to install a bathroom fan where previously there had been none. James went over the best options for me regarding the electrical (110 year old house) and we made a plan for the installation. He was prompt, efficient, and tidy. The fan he recommended works great! No more mold spots on the bathroom ceiling. All in all, we were very happy with his work and professionalism.

I've been working with James since Jan 2017, he has done so much for us and his work is superb. The first project he completed was locating the source of a leak in our house, which was caused by another contractor (unintentionally) during the install of hardwood flooring. A nail had pierced the water line feeding the radiant heating system, the leak took about 3 months to manifest itself. The leak had caused substantial damage, but you would never know. James did such an amazing job of repairing the dry wall, the ceiling moulding, and repainting the entire area. It looks as good as new! He has expertly installed a tile back splash for us in our basement kitchenette, installed storage shelving in our utility room providing us with much needed storage, installed our ring door bell and security light which had its challenges since he needed to maintain the craftsman look of the home exterior. The repair work to the pergola was a massive undertaking and it looks phenomenal. James came up with the idea to remove the opaque ceiling tiles (covered in moss and couldn't be cleaned) and replace them with tinted glass. The tinted glass shows off the gorgeous architecture of the house. He also built and installed a dog gate for us, again, maintaining the craftsman look of the house. Designed and implemented the landscaping of our front yard, to this day I'm still receiving complements. Refinished our dining room table which after 22 years of use required some TLC, again, it looks like new. We will continue to work with James because I really appreciate his intelligence, his integrity, his attention to detail, and he is very up front person.
