Recently called POM for an estimate on repairing our aging, original composite deck. Elliot came right out and took a look. Upon his inspection we discovered the deck was not built properly (surprise) to begin with in 2004 (by prior owners). We discussed the options available and Elliot came back with a design that fit our needs perfectly. We have a hot tub so we needed the structure to be safe for that. Work began after permits were secured. Elliot kept us well informed throughout the process. Billy, the carpenter who built the entire deck himself, was incredible! His work ethic and attention to detail are top notch!! We now have a beautiful new deck and cannot wait for spring to get out and enjoy it!!!

POM Contracting is a professional outfit, which completed a relatively large job for us. We were immediately put at ease after speaking to Elliot, who actually wrote up the proposal, the estimate and closely supervised the ongoing work. Rose (at the office) helped us out tremendously as we had never hired a contractor for a job this involved. The job was done in a timely manner and we are completely satisfied. I do not hesitate to recommend POM Contracting for any work you need done.

We hired POM because a neighbor was very happy with their work. We had the entire basement finished including a full bathroom added to it, and we also had a staircase added to the back deck on the house. They worked incredibly fast and were professional and always on time. Everything came out perfect and we will hire POM again for future projects.

If you want or need to have improvements done on your home, POM is the only one you need to contact. Elliot handled everything from start to finish. A new metal roof (old one replaced), new windows, doors, sheet rock two bedrooms into one, trimmed out and finished in two weeks! All I had to do was stand back and watch the magic happen! Thanks Elliot and all of your crew!

Piece of Mind" lived up to its name from initial estimates to follow up communications and everything in between. We were kept up-to-date during the work, including pictures, and even received great suggestions for improving the design and safety of our deck. This was our first project with POM, but won't be our last!

Elliott, the owner of POM (Peace of Mind) Contracting, was unlike the other contractors I interviewed or worked with before. He's a great communicator. I always knew what was going on before it took place. He alerted me to the time his contractors would arrive and about how long they would be here and anything else that needed to be discussed. I was impressed with how he set an appointment with me to review the estimate, instead of just emailing it to me and then going back and forth by phone or email. His attention to detail is incredible. I also admire and appreciate how quickly he returned my calls or texts and how even after the job was done and he received the last payment he still was great at keeping up communication. One more thing, he didn't stop until I was 100% happy. All of his crews were all professional and a delight to work with. The sunroom is absolutely beautiful and it was done pretty quick - in only 5 weeks. Shortly after the sunroom was done he built our deck. It's beautiful and was completed in only 3 days. I just wish I had more projects to hire him for.
