Scott, Kody and team continue to be be the best. They did extensive work at our new place in Holladay that finished up about a year ago and we just had them back to start on another room. Both Scott and Kody know what they are doing and their crew is very solid Very easy to work with, very responsive/flexible and great finished product.

Our house was over 40 years old with all original interiors, baths and kitchen. We remodeled the entire basement while living upstairs, then remodeled the entire upstairs while living in the basement. Scott and Kody made sure we were always comfortable and well cared for during the extreme cold weather last year while walls were removed and the roof raised to accommodate eight foot windows for the upstairs remodel. And they always cleaned up the work area before they left for the day! This team worked with us closely to make changes to original architect plans due to building issues and even errors in the plans, consulted us on our requirements and wishes in all areas to make sure our remodel was perfect, and offered great advice when any issues or challenges arose. They were awesome! We could not have done this full house remodel without their wonderful advice and unsurpassed experience. They always greeted us with a smile and never tried to push any far-fetched ideas on us to save them time. Their tile, flooring, and countertop supplier suggestions were spot on. We used Modern Tile working with Nancy for all our tile needs inside and out. Nancy was outstanding with all her tile knowledge and assistance. We used ProSource for our carpets and Diane was wonderful to work with up there. Our countertops for all baths, laundry and kitchen was Bedrock Quartz. Dave was awesome to work with at the West Jordan location, even allowing me to approve slabs prior to installation to make sure things were just right! I was nervous about the waterfall counters in the kitchen, but they were perfectly executed by Dave's team. Dave even came out to inspect them after completion to make sure we were happy with the results. Our kitchen and bath cabinets were from Home Depot and made by Kraftmaid. Don't laugh that they came from Home Depot and not custom built uptown! I worked with Cathy Hansen at the Fort Union location and she was exceptional and professional in every way. Cathy is a certified bath and kitchen designer who had her own design firm in Seattle, but moved to the SLC area to be closer to her children and grandkids. She designed full plans with CAD drawings which Scott and Kody found perfect to follow and install cabinets in all areas. And the design services were free! Cathy saved me thousands of dollars in materials and design costs. And Scott's team was happy to have such detailed plans to work from for the installs. And the sub-contractors Progressive used were excellent! Not enough praise can be said for their brick layers and Dan their tile installer. I could go on and on.... So if you are wanting to remodel, or are planning to remodel, do not hesitate to give Scott a call today and have him come over to discuss your plans. I highly recommend this team and would give them a 10 star rating if I could. We were so lucky to have found them and so grateful for all their experience, advice and fellowship during this big remodel. It turned out so beautiful and everyone was pleased and excited by the results. What a super team!

Progressive Remodelers did a stellar job remodeling a mud room and finishing our garage. Scott did an amazing job fully meeting our needs and being cost conscious as well. Progressive Remodelers just finished renovating our garage and turning our breezeway into a mudroom. They were incredible! Every step of the way - Scott was responsive from day one and quickly came out to view the project as well as give us estimates and a timeline. His team was professional, friendly, and wonderful at their job! We have had very good experience with Scott Starley and the work done by his company, Progressive Remodelers. This winter we had our kitchen area remodeled. We have used Progressive Remodelers in redoing both of our bathrooms in previous remodels, and did not hesitate to have them do the remodel of our kitchen. We have an older home and there are always items that are found during the course of a remodel that are not realized at the beginning of the work. We have found that Scott is experienced in dealing with these items as they occur. We are very pleased with the resulting kitchen. The look and style of our new kitchen benefited greatly from Scott's extensive experience and his good sense of design, space and style. In this and the two previous remodeling projects using Progressive Remodelers, we have always been pleased with the quality of the workmanship and our interactions with Scott.

We have known Scott Starley for awhile and were familiar with his work but he and his team really outdid themselves with our major renovation that included the kitchen and family room, and master bath and kids bath upstairs. The attention to detail started with demolition as they hauled away everything and picked up every day rather than having a big dumpster in the driveway for weeks. His designs were perfect and they accommodated our requests easily. He uses only quality materials. He has an in-house cabinet shop for custom work and his carpenter, Bryce, is masterful. His subs showed up on time and never held us up. When we were done, our punch list only had a few minor items on it. The final result has been a stunning upgrade for our home.

Progressive Remodelers did a complete kitchen remodel for me. I can't praise this crew highly enough. They were prompt, highly skilled, courteous, thorough and neat. We hired Scott and Progressive Remodelers to do a fairy substantial renovation (about $180k) at our house in Holladay. We had kitchen, flooring, four bathrooms, three fireplaces, lighting and a bunch of other stuff done. He was referred to me by a friend I trust very much. Scott is amazing, from the minute he came by to take a look it was clear he cared about quality and getting us what we wanted. Scott was good at giving suggestions, advice and feedback throughout the process and we ended up beyond satisfied with the work. His invoices were clear and easy to understand. Scott always took the time to explain what was going on and what to expect. In addition, his crew is amazing as well. No one wants to have a bunch of people in their house for six months but his team made it easy to deal with. Scott and his team remodeled my kitchen, turning it into a space that I love to be in. It started as a small simple project with Scott walking me through how to upgrade in phases. He helped me design a modern kitchen which was affordable and within my budget, allowing me to do the whole project at one time. His team was professional and friendly. They left the work area clean and straightened at the end of every day. And they were nice guys to have around. Scott and company did an excellent job remodeling my kitchen. It was an older condo unit that presented some significant challenges, but Scott met them beautifully! He made excellent suggestions when I was stuck, but never pushed. I should also note that they did much of the work while I was out of town; although many contractors might take that as a reason to let some things slide, Scott went above and beyond. Scott and his crew were incredible, always on time, high quality performance, and the neatest crew I've ever seen. Scott was very helpful in suggesting design features and products and his advice was spot-on. Scott coordinated a large number of workers and each one of them produced a high quality product. Will use them again and again for our home remodeling.

Scott and the whole crew were wonderful! We completely gutted and rebuilt the kitchen as well as installed ceramic tile flooring throughout, rebuilt a deck, painted, and replaced bathroom cabinets, etc. The end product is fantastic! The work was extremely professional and high quality. Their focus is always on long-term quality, not something that's only going to look good for a short time. They were always honest about the cost and benefits of various options. They always showed up on time and communicated well through the job. I highly recommend.

Progressive Remodelers remodeled both our kitchen and main floor bath in our circa 1892 Victorian home. Scott Starley, the owner, was very accessible throughout the project – no call or text went unanswered – he offered great suggestions and solutions for our project and dealt with the challenges of working on a wonky old house with patience and craftsmanship. There was someone on site every workday and, with our approval, even a few weekends. All of Scott’s workers and sub-contractors were great; they were very respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves every day. The finished rooms look beautiful! We highly recommend Progressive Remodelers and plan to use them again in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Progressive Remodelers; they are creative, responsive, flexible, reliable, and provide very high quality results. They came up with a great plan for remodeling our ridiculously small and dated bathroom, and then did the work beautifully. They removed walls to create a wonderful "great room", and restored all the trim and ceilings so it looks like it was built that way. They accommodated our changes and additions to the scope with good humor and some much needed reality checks. They showed up EVERY SINGLE DAY from the day it started until the day it finished, and worked ALL DAY EVERY DAY. Every workman and subcontractor that came to the house was smart, friendly, and professional. And they always came in on or under budget. I wouldn't think of using anyone else! Update March 2017: After 2 years, all the lovely remodeled areas and fixtures are still beautiful and the workmanship is still as evident as it was 2 years ago. We have had no problems with any of the plumbing, electrical, or new walls, cabinets, etc. Everyone who comes over still comments on our beautiful home!

Scott and his team are incredible professionals. We hired them to redo our kitchen and two bathrooms. We will definitely hire them again for all our home repair and remodel projects. They were clean, on-time and on budget and offered great ideas to save money and make our project beautiful. His team had incredible respect for my family, pets and personal belongings. It is never easy to go through a remodel and Progressive made it a pleasurable experience.

Have now worked with Scott and Progressive on two projects. In both cases, the work has been excellent. Scott worked with us to meet our budget and provide suggestions on the remodel to use some materials we had not been familiar with. Also, the paint colors Scott picked out are much better than what we thought we wanted; it's a special talent. The guys doing the work were respectful and neat, and didn't mind the dogs hanging around.

Scott Starley and his team at Progressive Remodelers did an outstanding job on finishing my basement office. He provided a detailed construction bid/cost estimate and completed all work on schedule. I highly recommend Scott and his team of carpenters and subcontractors for all your home/business remodeling and construction needs.

To put it mildly our basement bathroom and laundry room were a mess, all the way down to the plumbing. Progressive Remodelers were able to bring it back to a more functional and usable space. The bathroom is now the most beautiful room in the house! We really appreciated their attention to detail. All of the workers were respectable of our home and our pets.

Progressive provided detailed engineering blueprint & materials options with quotes for all variations. We couldn't be there during installation to oversee the work, so we were so please to come home and see the beautifully and professionally installed railings.
