I was having issues with my dryer heating properly. A repairman determined that the issue was not the dryer itself, but possibly the outlet, based upon the significant power cord damage that was discovered. Though I am a DIYer and felt as though I could replace the outlet myself, I was concerned that it was a more serious wiring issue. (The outlet and cord were significantly worn and charred and could have possibly led to a fire over time.) I called Ray at The Home Advisor Specialists and explained the issue. He agreed to come out and take a look. He was punctual in arriving at the agreed upon time. He was very thorough and found that the issue was not the actual wiring itself, but a loose screw in the fuse box. He said that because I had the skills to replace the outlet myself, he would give me the option to repair it if I would like. He told me what I would need to purchase from the hardware store and talked me through how I would make the connections, ensuring that I was comfortable with the steps. He even suggested that I send him pictures as I made the repairs to ensure they were done correctly before reconnecting the power, which I did. To top it off, he did not even charge me for the visit, though I tried to insist he be compensated for his time. I have never experienced that level of professionalism and integrity from a repairman. I recommend him highly and without reservation.

We had a major clog in main kitchen drain pipe due to a support failure in the old pipe. Ray diagnosed the problem quickly and engineered a solution to maintain the correct pipe slope to minimize future drainage problems. He also reset a toilet to prevent leakage. Ray is knowledgeable and easy to work with. He gave us several recommendations which were appreciated.

I have had Ray do a number of projects in my home and I would have no other. They paint job they did in my bedroom was more than I expected since I had not used them before. The ceiling and wall were flawless!Touching up my kitchen painted cabinets and redoing the baseboards made the kitchen look brand new. They are outstanding and I would not look any further!!!!!

Ray installed an EV charging outlet for me at my home. He was the top recommendation for my area on every I app I checked. He arrived the very next day after reaching out. He was extremely professional and friendly. His work was just as great and the finished result looks like it has always been there. His price was very fair. What’s more, I had an electrical issue in my very old house that was probably a bizarre coincidence to the timing of this project. Ray returned the very next morning and spent several hours diagnosing and finally correcting the issue. This included crawling around a disgusting crawl space that had not seen the light of day for decades. I recommend Ray with the absolute highest praise.

10/10 would recommend to anyone. Ray has helped me through multiple projects in my home from rewiring my whole system to showing me how to do simple maintenance. I have hired him for multiple projects and will continue to use him for all of my house needs. One of the nicest and most knowledgeable people you'll ever meet doing this.
