I recently had an excellent experience with Jim Erickson and R3 Homes. Water leaking from the unit above damaged my condo in Bend. I originally hired Jim as my local expert overseeing the mitigation and restoration contractors. The mitigation work was fine, but as I considered the restoration contractor, I felt more comfortable having Jim's company, R3, do the work. They seemed more dedicated and thorough, and most importantly, I felt they would strive to get the repairs done as quickly as possible (this is income property). Jim and R3 dove into the project quickly, with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. I was especially grateful as Jim provided extensive help and documentation to communicate with the insurance adjusters. Excellent craftsmanship and value for the money. I highly recommend them.

R3 homes is an absolutely amazing contractor to work with. Jim is honest, transparent, and has been very accommodating to help. His staff did amazing work and the entire project was smooth and looks amazing. I couldn't be happier with his work and team. One example of the type of man Jim is, we had a major concern about our shower due to a manufacturer defect on the part. Jim called me back at 10pm before Thanksgiving while sick and on vacation, and got a plumber out within 30 minutes to fix it and save the pipes. This sort of above and beyond work ethic has been present with everything he and his staff have done for us.

Some of our subcontractors regularly are appreciative of the quality of our clients. Other than join them in our admiration and appreciation for our clients, I simply do not know how to explain it. These same subs elaborate by telling me how many of the GC's they work with do not attract the same quality of client that R3 Homes attracts. What a huge blessing this is to R3! R3 Homes did a great job on a remodel project at our second home. This included new/ updated flooring and upgraded bathrooms. The staff at R3 are very customer oriented. They were continually responsive to what we wanted. Whenever there was an issue or a small change, they listened and did what we wanted without question. They have great subcontractors that did a really good job. We also appreciated that R3 continually made suggestions for improvement as they proceeded with the project. For example, they suggested updated smoke alarms, a new bathroom cabinet, and even a new roof when they found a leak in our absence. Overall, we are very happy with the work that R3 completed for us and would recommend them to others in the Bend/ Redmond Oregon area. They became a trusted business partner to complete our project very professionally and we sincerely appreciated all of the hard work.

We used R3 this past summer (2022) for a primary bath remodel. They knocked it out of the park. I was very impressed with Jim's professional demeanor and attentiveness when we had any issue big or small. Jason who was our main "worker" is not only a great craftsman but an overall great guy. They all treated our home, dog, and family with respect and care. I would not hesitate to use them again on our next remodeling or building project.

Jim Erickson and R3 Homes replaced my original deck boards with Trex decking. The work was done very well...I am quite pleased. Also, the craftsman doing the work were always gracious and professional. Although Jim had multiple projects going on, he was available and present to his craftsmen and to me. I believe his guidance and affirmation of the work contributed to the excellent quality. And very important to me, the site was always clean: both at the end of the day and end of the job. Yes, I would recommend Jim Erickson and R3 Homes!

We hired R3 Homes to perform a complete to-the-studs remodel of the kitchen in our vacation rental home. They also replaced all the flooring on the whole level and lighting in adjacent areas. Overall, we were extremely please with the work and value that R3 provided. In addition to their own team of professionals, R3 brought in a number of tradespeople specific to our project that were all top notch: from interior design to cabinetry to stone countertops and lighting, the entire project was well conceived, organized and executed. On top of this, the project was mostly completed remotely, and we were able to trust that the work was done on time and to spec without our having to engage. I would not hesitate to recommend R3 to anyone looking to remodel or repair any part of their property.
