Nick was our salesman, planner, designer and project manager. He was patient, good communicator and knowledgeable builder. We hired Rafael to remodel our master bathroom, pantry and laundry room. The project was large and we had our challenges. But everything was taken care of in a timely manner..For every good project manager, Nick made sure he had a GREAT onsite supervisor (Albert). I can’t say enough good things about him. Albert is that on site contractor YOU want on your project. He did everything. Even the small stuff like cleaning up after a long day work, and making sure you were happy before he left..He had a fabulous crew of skilled builders (tile, sheetrock, electrician, plumbers etc). My wife and I are very happy with our new remodel rooms. Thank you for everything, and I appreciate all your hard work.

When we purchased our Uncle's home it needed a total renovation, and living out of state we did not know where to start. From the very beginning, the design team at Rafael professionally assessed the property, created drawings and helped us develop a plan to remodel the home. They listened to what we wanted and created a plan that worked for us. Communication with their design team was phenomenal! Because they planned so well we had only a small change to the plan and so they stayed on budget and on time. They were very helpful to recommend vendors to supply appliances and other things of that nature. The project manager was very communicative and responsive which helped us, especially with us living so far away. We strongly recommend Rafael if you are doing a home remodel.

We purchased a 20-year-old home that probably had never had any renovations. We contracted with Rafael Inc to renovate the kitchen from top to bottom including expanding the kitchen window, renovated two bathrooms, added another window in one bedroom, replaced flooring and baseboards throughout the entire home, removed a portion of a wall and added a wall to create a 2nd office space, and painted. We had a great experience with Rafael. Billy who was our first contact and helped us figure out design details really listened to our thoughts and ideas. He helped us make decisions to stay close to our budget. We were not living in the home during the renovations and were out of state through most of it. However, they were in constant communication with us throughout the project. Evan, our primary contact throughout the construction phase, was very responsive and made sure to keep us informed of how things were progressing and if there were any hiccups which there always will be hiccups with construction/renovation projects. We are thrilled with the results! We have two more bathrooms that need renovation and plan to contact Rafael again when we are ready to start those projects!

My bathroom remodel looks great! It was a lot work, completed gutted it and rebuilt it for me.

Rafael Inc. just completed a painting job for us that included our entire house outside. This included first pressure washing the house and filling in the cracks and holes. The entire job was completed quickly and efficiently. Peter did the job and was the BEST worker we have ever had. He was accommodating, quiet and constantly focused on completing his job at hand. We give the highest recommendation to Rafael Inc. for ANY job you desire. Their pricing is fair and every detail is explained before the job begins. Do not hesitate to use them.

Working with Rafael Inc. has been an absolute pleasure. Peter was fantastic and he worked diligently and quietly. It's almost like he wasn't here at all and the work he did was top tier. I would 100% recommend Rafael Inc. and use them again in the future.

Remodel Fireplace Love, love our fireplace! Great experience with Evan and his team. Evan was a true professional, he communicated well and was on top of the work progress. I also would like to acknowledge the work of Billy Webb. He started the process, the design, choice of materials and the outcome was amazingly beautiful.

We just finished a big renovation in our home. The kitchen was completely redone as well as the fireplace and other things. I want to give a big shout out to Nick and Rafael Builders. They did a fabulous job, I knew the workers would be there when Nick said they would which is so important these days. Simon, Albert and the others were so good in all they did. I am so pleased with the outcome and have been telling everyone. We are enjoying our new home for the holidays. I love showing it off to everyone. I now have the kitchen and home of my dreams.

After purchasing a house in 2021, it had “good bones” but there were items that needed some TLC and wanted to put a personal touch on the space. We brought in multiple contractors to discuss changes etc. and The Rafael Inc. was in line with our vision and brought in the expertise to make it reality. Thank you Billy and the design team. Thank you to the Rafael Build Team for its professionalism and expertise in renovating a good portion of the house, from flooring to a bonus space and two (2) bathrooms. The Project began within a couple weeks from estimated plan, which was fantastic given the Covid related supply chain issues. I especially want to thank Nick, our project Supervisor who kept things on plan and scheduled floor installers, plumbers, tilers, and electricians in an efficient manner. Nick made the reno experience more pleasant by ensuring communication lines were open with us and responded timely to our questions and requests. Thank you again Rafael, Inc.

My project involved the entire downstairs area to include kitchen redesign, ceiling smooth, and new tile floor. All of the work was done with the utmost professionalism and completed in a timely manner. I could not be happier with the finished product.

Although it took longer than expected to remodel our Kitchen, the end product is amazingly excellent! The quality of workmanship by the Rafael subcontractors was very good. We love our new kitchen!

We contracted w/Rafael, Inc. In Sept. 2020 to remodel our master bathroom. Said they would start in 11-2020. Not 1 nail was removed until April 2021. They put the extensive delay on Covid. Covid not responsible for their lack of communication. Covid was not responsible for their lack of disrespect after they had 50% of the total cost of the project. We had to engage an attorney to get movement. We had 2 or 3 project managers. Clay the project mgr. talked a good game. As a matter of fact, I can honestly say that he hung up on me once when I was questioning him about starting the remodel. We were finally given Jerry as our project supervisor. He was good and tried to make things as right as possible. They finally completed the project in August 2021, 11 months later. We can not recommend this company to any of our family or friends. Shop around before you sign on their bottom line. Please beware!

I can't say enough positive things about the people and experience we had at Rafael. Finally a contracting company that shows they care about the customer. From the beginning they were very upfront, including being honest that they would have charged more for a remodel that was already completed than the other contractor did. The difference in experience was worth every bit of it. From the design process to the actual build and they way speed bumps in the project were handled, it was a professional and positive experience. The actual work was fantastic as well. The crews were a pleasure to be around, I commented to my wife when the project was finished that I would miss seeing them. Again, very professional and quality work. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Jane, Jym, Sidney and the rest of the team at Rafael Inc. They updated a bathroom for me and were great to work with, did an excellent job and worked with me and consulted with me throughout the process. I would recommend Rafael.

We are very pleased with our complete bathroom remodel. The designer, Billy Webb had materials and colors coordinated perfectly and took the time to accommodate us in every aspect of our bathroom remodel. Jym Adkins, the foreman of the job checked in daily and replied promptly to texts and phone calls. He also answered any questions that we had and made us feel very stress free throughout the project. The men who did the remodeling, Simon and Albert became like family to us. Their workmanship is nothing less than “SUPERIOR.” We hold all involved with high regard. We will recommend Rafael Inc. to all family and friends.

Final Review: I’m giving Rafael 4 stars. They presented me with a design that was good and they were patient with me as my husband and I pondered which contractor design and bid best suited our needs. Although we chose to go with the other contractor, it had to do with a design and cost that best suited us. We have several other projects we will be working on over the upcoming months and fully intend to see what Rafael can offer. They were great with maintaining contact, but not annoying us and that means a lot to me. They were competitive and provided us with very good customer service, which goes a long way in my book. Any concerns or questions I had was addressed promptly. I felt heard and understood. Kudos to Rafael for excelling in an area where many companies fail. Updated: Sidney contacted me and explained the miscommunication and apologized. They were diligently working to get the project down in cost that would be closer to our budget. Billy forwarded the proposal for our review and will have the design ready for us to review Tuesday 4/2/19. I’m looking forward to seeing their design to compare with the other designs submitted. In the interim, I am giving them 3.5 stars and hope to rate them higher upon the design review. Contacted contractor and set up appointment. Representative arrived for appointment on time. We went through our vision of the project, but was looking for expertise and requested a design build. He went through some of his initial thoughts and requested what our budget was. At first I was taken back, but then realized that it was a fair request. We provided our budget thoughts and he promptly let us know that what we were asking was not feasible with that budget and provided a off the cuff estimate (which in all fairness was more in line with what I had figured, but not so much my husband). Representative said he would provide their quote the following week. I told him that was fine, since the other quotes were not expected until the end of the week. He called at the beginning of the week letting me know that the design was ready and was awaiting the general contractor review (he was the designer). He made the statement that our budget was $12,000 right, but I let him know we hoped to keep it under $12,000. After that conversation, we have not heard from them again. I guess they’re not into the small jobs and don’t have the courtesy to even let us know. I gave them 1 star only because he made the appointment and did an initial follow up, which some companies don’t even bother with.

I had 2 bathrooms remodeled in October 2017. The contractor was professional and carried out the work well. Kris was project manager at that time who supervised the project and communicated well throughout. I proceeded with a change order to include painting and tiling of the master bedroom to match the bathroom. Rafael Inc was the company who secured my business again when I was needing my kitchen & living room to be updated. From the design( thank you Sandra), to the contractor & new project manager I now have a beautiful kitchen/ living room. Is the final product perfect & flawless? - of course not, but given the scope of the project I am happy with the outcome. Minor "glitches" which popped up after the contractors had long gone were dealt with efficiently. Thank you all at Rafael Inc. **.
