Renovate Memphis

I recently hired Dewayne Gammel with Renovate Memphis for installing an attic lift in my garage. It was such a pleasure to work with him and his team. I was so impressed that he did his homework and actually reached out to the manufacturer before even coming to my house to quote the job. He had a firm grasp on what was entailed and gave me a very fair price. The subs working on this project showed up on time and finished on time. Each stage was done with meticulous care and precision. We couldn’t be happier with the finished project and can’t wait to straighten our storage room and attic for easier access. I look forward to starting another project soon!

We had a great experience working with Renovate Memphis, LLC on our kitchen remodel. The quote was very competitive, and the design feature was a huge plus. The contractors were timely, courteous and knowledgeable. The finished product was so much more than I could have imagined. Dewayne and his team are consummate professionals, I highly recommend.

Our's was a kitchen and laundry room project. We chose Renovate Memphis after careful reviews of references and what was included in the job. We've served as our own general contractor on prior renovations and did not want any part of that for this one. A turn-key operation was what we were looking for. DeWayne provided a professional designer to assist us in picking out the various hardware, cabinetry, backsplash, lighting, hood, etc... That service was included in the price and was helpful to us more than anything. Our project involved the removal of existing cabinets and island, and the removal of the soffit above the cabinets to allow for full length cabinets. Because the soffit contained heat/ac duct, there was additional work required to move the existing duct work. We had decided to replace the over the stove microwave with a more contemporary aluminum vent hood, and have a separate shelf for a microwave built in a cabinet at a different location. There was a lot of electrical work, plumbing and wood repair and painting. We went with quartz counter tops and herring bone design in the backsplash. This was supposed to be a two month project, but ended up being closer to three. It was definitely worth it. The budget we allotted and the price quoted on the front end is what we paid. No upcharges. Dewayne and Tyler and their team provided us with a quality finished product that is gorgeous. Most of the professionals at Renovate Memphis are on staff, with a limited amount of sub-contractors, which was a plus. Even the sub-contractors have worked with DeWayne for years, so there was never an issue of sloppy work. The demolition, installation, etc. was first rate. Renovate Memphis provided an on-line schedule so we were in the know about what and when work was schedule. Always first rate. Everyone took care to clean the workplace every day and DeWayne provided a team to come in after the project and professionally clean thoroughly. We will definitely go to Renovate Memphis for any further renovation needs we may have.

We had Renovate Memphis cover our existing patio. Dewayne came up with a great design and made sure everything met with code. Tyler made sure we were happy along the way and answered all of our questions. There was some hiccups with the timeline, but would for sure use again! Our patio is beautiful and well done!

We have used Renovate Memphis for several projects and everything has been fantastic! I am particularly impressed with the attention to detail, the commitment to getting things to our satisfaction, and arriving at (or before!) the scheduled time. It's very difficult to find builders that are dependable, flexible, accommodating, and can share in the design vision for a client. Renovate Memphis put in hardwood floors for us and stained our pool deck. They were fabulous! I couldn't ask for a more hard working company or friendly staff. I would definitely recommend them for anything you need done!!
