Scott did a fantastic job on our shower reno. He found us the right liner, glass door and hooks, and did a great job on the tiles and custom shelves. Nice cleanup job too!

Scott did a fantastic job with our kitchen reno. He met with us so that we could tell him what we did and didn't like about our current kitchen and what we were wanting in a new kitchen. He sent us websites to look at for countertop, cupboard doors and cupboard inserts. We gave him our feedback and, when he came back for a follow-up visit, his design was exactly what we had hoped for. From destruction to completion took 6 weeks. He made sure that we had use of the stove when he was done at the end of the work day. He worked well with the subcontractors to make sure that everything met code. His ideas for utilizing space are fantastic. The finished product surpasses our expectations. We might be the only people in the city who can say that we have more cupboard space than we need! I have shown people at work pictures of the finished kitchen and I have had only positive feedback. A few have even asked me to send them pictures of some of the cupboard inserts so that they can show their spouses how the space was utilized. Thanks so much Scott. I have the dream kitchen that I have always wanted!

Scott redesigned a built in bookcase to house a larger tv. He was on time, personable, and very skilled. The redesign looks as if it was always there. He was also reasonable and on budget. I have and would continue to recommend Scott for all projects. He and his work is awesome! Thanks, Scott!

Scott at RSL Fine Woodworking was a delight to work with. He custom built our platform bed frame and matching night tables. His design and walnut stain finishes were to our exact specifications. Scott was easy to communicate with; he gave us a time line and stuck to it. He delivered and installed our beautiful finished products all according to plan. Scott did an amazing job of building and installing custom built-in bookshelves in our bedroom. I really appreciated work, professionalism, and thoughtful input. He even managed to perfectly match our paint colours despite the fact that the chip I had was years out of production. Highest recommendation.

I was looking for a simple, minimalistic bed platform to lift my double bed off the ground as my room is quite small and a conventional bed frame would have blocked my heater and air flow. I am thrilled to recommend Scott, as he designed a beautiful fir wood slat platform lift for me. It was everything I was looking for and he was extremely accommodating with meeting me to beforehand to discuss the specifics and answer any questions I had. Further, he said it would be finished in 10 days but had it finished in less than half the time. As a recent graduate, I asked for him to build something that would I could easily take apart if I were to move, and his solution was simple, effective and easy to dismantle! I am absolutely in love with what Scott has designed for me and would like to reward him with the highest recommendation. We have had great experiences with this company. They were recommended through a friend, and I have since recommended to many other friends. We have had our front door removed/reinstalled, custom built-in for living room, custom wainscoting around kitchen island and fireplace, and our largest project so far has been the demo and remodel of our master bathroom. The estimate was reasonable, the timelines worked well with our schedules, and the overall experience was fantastic. We were always consulted with there were any problems, concerns or modifications to be made and I felt very comfortable leaving decisions up to him to make when needed. After the remodel was complete, a thorough walk through was made, and I have felt very comfortable calling when I have had questions or concerns regarding anything to do with any of the projects that have been done. Overall, we are very happy customers, and this company already has a long list of other projects to do for us!!

I have been meaning to write this review for far too long! I have been LOVING my new built ins in both my closet and my new upstairs laundry room! I can not even begin to tell you how happy I am with the job that RSL Fine Woodworking did! Right from the beginning - the service and personal attention to detail, the quality of professionalism were evident! I explained that I wanted floor to ceiling custom built-ins, utilizing every possible bit of space! I wanted a custom built window bench with staggered drawers below. Scott was more than willing to hear me out and create my vision! We worked together seamlessly! There were no inconveniences, that you might expect of a regular renovation. No mess left around, no waiting around for contractors to show up, no disrespect to our privacy, or our home in any way. RSL Fine Woodworking far exceeded my expectation in quality craftsmanship. I have a beautiful I can't wait for the next project in the horizon - built ins in our mudroom as well as revamping our entire kitchen. I would recommend RSL Fine Woodworking to anyone! I retained Scott Lalonde from R.S.L., Fine Woodworking to: repair and stain (silver laquer) my Master Bath and Half Bath Vanity doors and shelves. He also constructed, stained and placed three floating shelves above the toilet between two walls. I appreciated Scott's approach. He listened and then made suggestions that would make the vanities look more finished and professional. His work is very exact/precise and he took his time. I have hired him to do repairs/stain on our kitchen cabinets. I have complete confidence in his work and would recommend him.

We hired Scott from RSL to replace all our kitchen and bathroom counter tops, as well as build us a new kitchen island. We are very happy with how this all turned out, it actually exceeded our expectations. This is the second kitchen renovation RSL has done for me, and I would not hesitate to recommend him and will definitely be working with him again in the future.

Amazing work! We had to live in the space that was renovated (wall removed and integrated kitchen and living room into an open space). It was easily manageable. The main floor was clean, Scott was conscious of time, materials (top grade), cost and worked with integrity and professionalism. He understood our vision and made some recommendations that were a beautiful addition to the end result. Workmanship speaks for itself - Stunning and beautiful craftsmanship. We love the look and still get compliments over what Scott has done. We will be calling him back for our next major Reno. A great stand up company. Highly recommended!
