Rupp Family Builders is a woman owned construction company ,wait, what? Yes folks, you heard it right! I have been around construction my whole life, starting with a farmhouse I grew up in as my parents remodeled it around me. Watching the transformation that occurs during a build or remodel has always been mesmerizing to me. However the shift from being an observer to a business owner has been an amazing learning experience for me in the industry and I am proud that I have been able to add a ton of value to the process . How? Well, what many people do not realize is that building or remodeling is a highly emotional process. Your home is being torn apart (or built) and put back together again, and strangers and loud noises are a constant, and you’re spending large amounts of $! We have built and continue to build processes and tools to create a better experience for our clients and to ensure the project is a success from all avenues, physical and emotional. One of the really amazing processes that have been put in place is the “Client Expectation Meeting” this is an avenue to meet and speak with our clients about the project from an emotional perspective as well as the physical aspects. It lays out the roles of each party in the process and helps everyone stay in their lane. Let me tell you, it is a game changer for all parties involved! Another really exciting addition has been adding an interior designer to our team that gives our clients direction and expertise when making selections. Do you know how quickly the decisions to be made for a remodel or new build become completely overwhelming? Then you pile on placements of just about everything and your head is about to explode! Problem solved, consult the designer or better yet tell them to make the decision for you. Many of the voices behind the idea of improvements to the home are women. Lets face it guys don’t often dream about entertaining in a beautiful kitchen or creating a more functional and beautiful space. Sometimes, but not as often.
