From the moment the SCHiM team stepped over the threshold of our home, we knew we were in the hands of master contractors. In fact, we've done a number of projects over the years but SCHiM was the most professional and meticulous contractor experience that we have had to date. In 2022, we did a full interior renovation where the liner in our bathroom was not properly installed, and the pitch of the shower was terribly off. These egregious errors resulted in water damage on our first floor and many, many hours of stress and heartache. SCHiM made our bathroom more beautiful than it was in the first place and for that, we could not be more thankful

Working with Spiro Geroulanos and his crew at SCHiM was an absolute pleasure from day one. In addition to replacing the windows in my Manhattan apartment, my project involved re-building and painting a section of wall, window frames and window sills, and re-hanging the shades. The crew did a truly magnificent job!! Spiro is a gem – easy to communicate with, great about answering questions and addressing concerns promptly, and wonderfully accommodating. He and his crew take pride in working efficiently and neatly, and in exceeding clients’ expectations. My primary residence is in Montana and doing this project might have been overwhelming, but Spiro kindly guided me through the process, put my mind at ease, and gave me confidence that my best interests were SCHiM’s top priority. He and his crew are among the nicest, most professional, and talented people I’ve worked with – and my apartment looks better than ever. I've had the pleasure of being the architect on two residential renovations in Manhattan with Schim, each with its own unique aesthetic style - one in a post-war Midtown condo apartment and the other a Gramercy pre-war co-op apartment. Despite the differences in projects, one consistent factor was Schim's exceptional craftsmanship in both the behind-the-walls rough work and the finishing details. Throughout the process, the company's owner personally managed the projects and was always available for discussions, whether it was about the big picture or the tiniest of details. The team demonstrated a genuine pride and excitement in showing me their weekly accomplishments, creating a warm and personal experience throughout the collaboration. We have used SCHiM for quite a lot of our projects and they always deliver on their promise. From negotiation to planning to execution their team is always on point and fair. SCHiM's work and communication is performed with utmost professionalism which's is beyond important for us since in their way they represent us as well. Important thing to consider is that any issues we have encountered (as any project mostly does) their time to resolution and willingness to work it out is key. I was very happy with my bedroom and kitchen renovation project with Spiro, Odiase, and the whole SCHiM team. I knew they were the right fit as they understood my vision from the start. We had weekly checkpoints and the team reached out to me directly for any major decision. Spiro and Odiase were always a phone call or text away if I needed more guidance on any part of the process. Being new to the city, they also provided me all their contacts and references to other vendors that were needed to complete the various aspects of the job. Even when issues arose, as they always do with any new construction effort, the team was flexible and came up with solutions on the fly with great results.
