I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted when we first met. The plans and 3-D computer generated design of the master bath was spot on. I like this since you can see the space management and colors and textures all put together. The contractors they sent were the best. They always kept us involved with what they were doing that day. Absolutely top shelf work and all minor issues were addressed and resolved immediately. I can't wait to have them redo my kitchen.

Tinsa and Ryan did an amazing job at our house. We LOVE our new kitchen, bathroom, floors, skylight, ceiling lights, and utility sink. They did ALL this work in 7.5 week as promised. It was the most amazing experience working with them. In the design stage and choosing all the material and hardware, Tinsa learned me style quickly and then smoothly helped me choose all the right choices. We made almost 80% of our choices online and they all turn out just PERFECT! Clint and all the rest of the crew on the job site were super helpful and very professional. We have heard so many horror stories of remodeling, but we experienced the best. We highly recommend them. They are the best!

Ryan and Tinsa were open, honest and very relatable from the get go. Any issues that arose during our project were quickly and fairly rectified. Ryan & Tinsa were a dream to work with. Let me start by saying that my husband & I are very much "A" type personality people. We had a vision and were sure when we started this project that we knew exactly what we wanted. By the time we were done, we got something much better than our original vision and I strongly believe this is because of the time both Ryan & Tinsa took to ensure we got a quality home. We are almost a year out from the completion of our remodel/new construction and there is not a single thing we would change. We absolutely love the Great Room & Kitchen they built for us. They walked us through each step so we knew what to expect. They listened to what we wanted, asked lots of questions to ensure they understood our vision, and made suggestions when we were unsure of our decisions. When we found Ryan & Tinsa, we had just parted ways with our previous contractor as we couldn't agree on what we wanted verses what he felt he could do with us. It just wasn't a good blend of personalities and vision. The gentleman who was creating the design for our Great Room/ Kitchen recommend Schweitzer Design, so we set up a meeting. It only took that first meeting for us to know that this was going to be a good partnership. We talked about our vision (Rustic/Lodge) and how we wanted to use this shared space (Lots of windows to view the property, let in light along with a cook's kitchen, good for entertaining but cozy enough for us our and our dogs). They helped finalize the details with our designer and then walked us through the stages along with what possible bumps we might encounter. The project was slated to last 6 months, during which we would lose our kitchen and living room as they were tearing this down to build the bigger version. We chose to live in the other half of the house during construction which meant they had to ensure we had a way to enter the house throughout this process (at times, this was not easy for them but they managed it). We hit a couple of bumps due to asbestos under the linoleum as they were tearing it down (had a two week delay to get the abatement company out to deal with it) and delays due to weather (this was the winter of torrential downpours which made excavating and pouring the footings a nightmare which caused another few weeks of delay. Throughout this all, Ryan & Tinsa kept in contact with us, let us know what to expect and made sure we were doing alright. We build a very custom Cooks Kitchen with a large walk-in Pantry, higher than normal back countertop to accommodate my tall husband, and custom pull out drawers to accommodate a root vegetable rack and unique utensil cabinet along with the spice racks. We added a prep sink with a pot filler to the island to go with the gas cooktop and hood vent. The kitchen is spacious enough to allow both my husband and I to cook together without getting in each other's way (which is a huge plus!). After a year of living in this Remodel/Addition of our Great Room & Kitchen, there is not a thing I would change. We love it as much, if not more than we did when it was first finished. We enjoy the big windows, drinking our coffee and looking at the deer and entertaining with all of our friends. Now that we have settled in, we are working with Ryan and Tinsa on the remodel of our bedroom and bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any project you have because if they can take on our project and handle it with ease, they can do anything!

Ryan and Tinsa provide excellent, detail oriented service that exceeds expectations in all areas. They are easy and enjoyable to work with and are always willing and able to help with any projects or ideas. Their expertise and advice in selecting our new flooring and layout were essential and the finished wood floors that Ryan installed are more beautiful than we could have imagined! You couldn't find two more pleasant, dedicated people than Ryan and Tinsa. They are a pleasure to work with and so attuned to details. They go out of their way to make your project "yours", and the sub-contractors they use do beautiful work. We are currently working them on cabinetry, flooring, a granite countertop, new kitchen sink, and will eventually have them update the showers in our bathrooms. I highly recommend them.

Ryan Schweitzer completed a beautiful remodel of our home built in 1964 in Albany. He added new custom cabinets in the kitchen, along with counter tops and an island covered with gleaming black granite. He added attractive new lighting fixtures. In the bathroom, he added a new tub and shower kit, ceramic tile on the floor, a new vanity, and two light fixtures. The kitchen, living room, and hallway are covered with rich brown bamboo flooring. All areas where work was done were then nicely painted, so half the house now looks new and modern. He offered a very competitive price and provided high quality work. He finished on time, and was a pleasure to work with. Schweitzer Design & Build is a quality operation run by an honest and hard-working man. He provided information from which we were able to choose the materials for all the construction, and he offered practical advice to help us make decisions.

Schweitzer Design & Build (SDB) provided design and construction services for the complete renovation of our 1960's ranch style house and the 700 sq. ft. addition of a master suite, laundry and office area. The renovation included exterior changes to the house siding, carport, patio, and driveway areas. Also the septic system was moved and anew drain system was put in and a French drain system was added. The interior changes included all new woodwork, doors, upgrade of the electric system, the removal of two fireplaces, two interior walls and the addition of support beams and load bearing walls. Also the existing family room's ceiling was vaulted, a new gas fireplace installed and all new windows installed. All of this was completed with us still in the home except when the new wood floors were finished. Ryan Schweitzer did an excellent job of completing this project on budget and on time. The project was not without its challenges and ups and downs. Ryan took on each challenge promptly and professionally. Challenges included over booked subs, poor workmanship, rain storms, mismanufactured trusses, etc.
