We contracted with Scott to renovate sections of our house. He acted in a professional manner and completed all the work within agreed amounts and time frames. We were pleased with the results and he used very good and qualified subs.

We highly recommend Scott Homes Ltd. We lived 1,300 miles away and Skip Howes was fantastic. He guided us through the entire process and communicated with us by email, phone calls, text and pictures. Everyone from the office staff to the workers on the job site were professional and knowledgeable. My Wife Sue and I will be more than Honored to write a review for Scott Homes in general and its President/CEO Skip Howes more specifically. We initially approached Skip in the Fall of 2015 with some general real estate questions concerning buying pre-owned homes vs. building a custom home from scratch in the Woodland Park/Teller County Area of Colorado. Skip spent countless hours on the phone, in person and via text and email to assure that all of our questions were answered satisfactorily. Skip and Scott Homes does truly put the “Customer First” when it comes to Exceptional Customer Service. We elected to have Skip and thus Scott Homes, design and construct our dream retirement home in the Rocky Mountain community of Woodland Park. Our total investment was real close to $500,000. That was back in the Fall of 2015 and we've never regretted that decision. Either Skip or Jon Howes (Construction Superintendent) was literally always on site whenever contractors or subs were present from the initial stake out and grading of the property, up through the final walk-thru and handing over the Keys (turnkey operation) to our Dream Retirement Home. Through Skip's extensive construction background and the many Advanced Professional Certifications that he possesses, he was invaluable in helping us to create the design for the home, with "aging in place" as a key component; as we are retired and plan to stay in this home, until God calls us yonder. I've an industrial and commercial construction background as a Health – Safety – Environmental Manager / Director / Professional. So many of the newer residential industry standards and regulatory code requirements, I was vaguely familiar with. Skip never hesitated to spend whatever time necessary to educate both Sue and I in the newer construction protocols and methodologies in today's residential construction modalities. The quality of the construction itself, as well as all of the materials utilized, was never a question for Sue and me. We always trusted Skip explicitly!! We found Skip and Scott Homes to be totally ethical, honest, with full integrity and transparent dealings in a contract of this size, scope and expense. After we received the keys, the occasional follow-up on a warranty issue, has been superb, bar none. Again the post-sale Customer Service has been outstanding - could not ask for anything better. I could easily write many more paragraphs praising Skip and Scott Homes, but let me just summarize it by saying; if we had to do it All Over Again, we would not hesitate to sign another contract with Skip/Scott Homes.
