No job is impossible for Sigura Construction. We never take on a project unless we are 100% certain we can provide our client with the best service and results possible. Sigura Construction was founded by Ilan Sigura. Ilan began working in residential and commercial construction at the age of 16. His father, who was a contractor, taught him the trade. After graduating from university in Israel with a Mechanical Engineering degree, Ilan continued working in the field of construction in New Jersey while pursuing his second degree in Computer Software, from Montclair State University. After moving to California, Ilan committed his time to establishing a general construction business. Sigura Construction has quickly become a leader in the commercial, residential and multi-housing areas of construction.
Today, we are a family owned business serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area. With over 22 years of experience in the construction field, we pride ourselves on providing high quality services, excellent customer care, and prompt performance and reliability.

I have done two major remodeling projects with Sigura Construction over the past three years. The first was an update of the kitchen and bathroom in my 1940s-era concrete-block house on the SF Peninsula. Sigura's estimate was detailed and fairly priced, taking into consideration the time that would be required for permit approvals and inspections (no easy feat during COVID). During construction, Ilan and his team communicated quickly and clearly whenever something came up that required a change order (you never know what you'll find behind 80-year-old wallboard...) They brought the project in on time and on budget, and we love the results.
The second project was even more impressive. Last year my family was living in Europe on a temporary work assignment when our tenants brought to our attention to a mildew problem in the bedrooms, specifically on the inside of the exterior walls. This is not what you want to hear when you are 6000 miles away! Luckily we had Ilan. He proposed an ambitious project to insulate the exterior walls from the inside using closed-cell foam insulation, and at the same time to replace all the flooring he had not yet refreshed in the bath-and-kitchen job. We told him we had new tenants arriving in a few months and everything needed to be done before they arrived. Ilan was excited for the challenge. His team handled all the details, starting with moving all our furniture into a storage container in the driveway. Then, with impressive professionalism, they executed the project precisely on schedule—and that included all the typical unforeseen challenges, like when they discovered a layer of ancient linoleum under the existing parquet floor, or when we had to relocate an old gas line to bring it up to code. My family is truly grateful for the care and diligence of Ilan, Chris, and the entire Sigura team on this project. We arrived home a few weeks ago to what felt like a brand-new house, thanks to Sigura Construction. I highly recommend working with them.

I worked with Ilan Sigura about 16 years ago for remodeling the house my wife and I purchased and for remodeling a rental property we own in the bay area. We were very happy with the service and the quality of work.
Since then, we left the bay area moved to Southern California. But a few months ago the tenant in our rental property left after 12 years and we decided to do extensive work to bring the property to a better condition. Naturally, I reached out to Ilan and asked him to handle the project. I entrusted him to do the work and make some decisions on our behalf since we are not local. Sigura Construction did an excellent job. They met the cost constrained we gave them, and met the timeline committed to us. The quality of the work is exceptional, the attention to details is great, the suggestions they made were very helpful. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the results. The house is now rented and the tenant is very satisfied with the condition of the house.
I definitely will continue to use them in any future projects!

We used Sigura Constructions when our roof had a substantial leak and our kitchen and basement needed wall and ceiling repairs and new flooring. First, they responded and showed up gave us a quote quickly.

Sigura Construction has been our contractor since 2014. Back then, they tore down and rebuilt our house based on the architect's designs. As with any contractor anyone has ever worked with, we had some frustrations with time delays and unexpected expenses. However, literally everyone who visits our house comments on how beautiful it is and how well built it is. We have a lot of house pride and know that Sigura Construction has a lot to do with that. In addition, true to his word, Ilan has always responded to our requests for touch ups and is always responsive to our calls and texts. We continue to call Ilan anytime we need something; we simply don't trust anyone else to do as good a job and be as reliable with the quality of work.

Sigura Construction recently replaced our deck boards and completed various exterior repairs to our house. Their price was very competitive with other estimates. They did an excellent job in a timely manner and added in the little touches beyond the scope of the contract which we didn't expect (reinstalling the screen door, replacing some extra siding shingles, etc). Sigura Construction crew are hard working, honest and committed to quality. We were making all of our own design decisions about our bathroom renovation and they offered excellent advice that moved us in the right direction. They were always considerate and customer-focused, responding promptly to texts and emails. I look forward to working with this crew again when we update our kitchen.

We worked with Sigura Construction to get two kitchens fully remodeled. The whole team was great at their work. Quick responses to any questions we had and helped us with the layout. The prices were the best around and all were very professional. We are thrilled with the way the kitchen came out! Happy with the services!

Sigura Construction crew were friendly to work with and patient to my inquires. They took care of our kitchen and promptly came up with a plan that suited our needs. We were continuously updated about how the work was going on and what was needed to get it fixed. The team was conscientious about confirming the details with us before each portion of the job, making sure that each decision was agreed upon, and were clearly careful in their work. They made the entire process very easy and seamless for us. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. Very happy with our new kitchen!

We hired this company to redo our very old and ugly kitchen. We hired their designer and were very pleased with their work. They guided us along the way with picking the layout and the correct materials. The team worked very hard to make sure everything was setup properly and correctly. They made sure that everything was taken care of any issues. We are very pleased with our new kitchen from Sigura Construction!

Our kitchen was worn out. The range had old top and bottom ovens. Lighting was poor. We discussed the issues with their representative and were really happy to hear great suggestions for our kitchen. After the kitchen was done there was a whole new energy in the room. The work was done on time and in a very professional manner. We give the crew at Sigura Construction 5 stars.

I have used this company for many home projects at my place. Painting, bathroom and kitchen remodel. I was impressed with their ideas and attention to detail. They just finished a kitchen remodel we hired them for and it came out absolutely magnificent. The crew always kept the projected time frame for their work and were one of the nicest and most honest team I have ever met. Sigura Construction truly has integrity and it shows in their work.

These guys did an amazing job and made our house a palace. They did a full remodel on our kitchen, bedroom and master bath. The workmanship was really great. All the workers did the work according to the schedule and completed the remodeling process on time. They updated me with everything and also suggested some magnificent additions to our kitchen and bedroom. Very pleased with the work done! I will recommend Sigura Construction to everyone.

Best contractor! hands down! We had such a great experience with Sigura Construction when they remodeled the kitchen in our condo. They were very knowledgeable about the work, and helped us complete the project in a timely manner within our budget. They guarantees his work, we had a question about the kitchen and we were promptly answered by them on phone and scheduled a time to stop by.

My husband and I just did a master bathroom remodel and are thrilled with the results. From the minute we walked in, the customer service was tremendous. Our design consultant, listened to our ideas and came up with products that would fit our budget and our ideas. They always went the extra mile to help us create our dream bathroom. I can't Thank Sigura Construction enough. Fast response time and quote was great. My bathtub had a bunch of rust spots and needed some serious help. They made the tub look like new. I needed a small pool in my backyard by reconstructing the space occupied by my garage. I was confused after seeing many different quotations from many construction companies. From which Sigura Construction's quotation caught my eye and i immediately requested a meeting and to my surprise they responded very quickly. They came up with various other ideas for my pool after scouting the place for it. They started the work within few days and also completed according to the given schedule. Sigura Construction finished re-roofing and re-tiling an outside upper deck on my house. I'm very pleased with the finished deck. I had to have it repaired because of water leaking so I wasn't too happy about having to spend the money on a part of my house that I rarely use. Their crew did a great job repairing and most importantly, Improving the deck and the space. They had great ideas that make the deck a place I like to be in now. The team was great. Fast, clean and thorough. Highly Recommended!

My wife and I recently had a total kitchen remodel done by Sigura. This included new cabinets, appliances, lighting, electrical code upgrade, flooring, tile, and paint. We quoted several companies and decided on Sigura because their price was competitive, they are diamond certified, and they were willing to work within the constraints we laid out. The work crew was anchored by Jose and Miguel who were very responsible, knowledgeable and caring about the quality of work provided. As needed other subs were brought in (flooring, tile, countertop) but Jose was THE GUY who kept the job on track and up to standards. They did a great job in sealing off the construction area so that dust did not intrude on the rest of the house. From construction start to finish was seven weeks and considering the amount of work involved, we were pleased with this relatively tight timeframe.

Sigura Construction did landscape work in my backyard as well as a bathroom remodel, and installation of new flooring throughout my house. I cannot say enough about how amazing my backyard looks. New grass, a beautifully paved walkway, a water fountain with a serene sound, and the most colorful flowers I've ever had! My bathroom is also better than what my original plans called for, and I'm so glad that the owner, Ilan, made the suggestion he did for the wall ledge in the shower. Such a functional feature, that eliminates the need for a plastic shower caddy to hold my shampoo and conditioner. And the combination of tile and hardwood flooring to distinguish between the family room and the rest of the house was such a great idea by Doug, the production manager. And the crew that worked at my house was clean and respectful.
I am pleased as punch, and will definitely use Sigura Construction again, if ever another construction need arises!

I hired Sigura Construction to do an addition to my house and I have to say I have been very happy since the beginning, they took care of all the designing and permits require by the city. They have been very informative and helpful through the whole process. I was a little concern at the beginning since is not a cheap project, but after interviewing a few G.C's I have to admit I made the best choice by hiring Sigura, my project is about 75% complete so as soon as is 100% I will update with some pictures.

Our experience with Sigura Construction was the most stressful and painful. They did a major remodel in our house including a familyroom addition, bathroom, and kitchen update. Not only did Sigura overcharge and underdeliver, but they were late by months and workmanship was sub-par. Many things were done twice or more times due to lack of supervision. The owner refused to comply with the City of Palo Alto requirements for a gas pipe installation. This delayed the project by 38 days. When it came to cost his tactics were deceitful. He increased the cost of stucco after we had a written agreement. He left the project with numerous safety issues open like a wrongly installed tankless water heater and electric problems. The owner never admits mistakes and blames all the wrongs on his clients. We tried mediation and we followed all the appropriate steps to resolve the issue, but Sigura failed to comply. After more than a year that we started our project the City has not approved it and has a pending investigation regarding the tankless water heater.
