Renzo and his team did a wonderful job with my kitchen! It was the first big project I have ever hired anyone for, and I am so happy I chose SOMAT to do the work. They replaced all the cabinets and installed my dream island. They also addressed any questions or concerns I had right away. I felt comfortable with the team working in my house while my son and I were busy doing work/school from home, and they were trustworthy when I had to be away from the house. Each day they worked hard and then cleaned up the area before they left. I would definitely recommend SOMAT for any project.

The SOMAT crew showed up on time for each of the three stages of the job, original tile removal, new tile installation, and follow up the next day to grout. They placed drop cloths everywhere and made sure that everything was cleaned up and hauled away at the end of each day. Before beginning to place the tiles, I was given multiple options as the tiles I had ordered were hand painted glass tiles. Also discussed was grout width and finishing. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew and will reach out to Renzo n SOMAT anytime I need additional wok around my house.

I HIGHLY recommend SOMAT Remodeling Services LLC. We have done several renovations in our home in the last 7 years and used a couple different contractors. Renzo and his team of workers were by far the best and very professional. They were punctual and stayed on course during our master bath ensuite project. They had a excellent attention to detail in their craftsmanship in every detail of the project. Any questions that arose during the project Renzo was able to answer in a prompt manner. We are very pleased with the final product! My husband and I are real estate agents in the DMV and we will be recommending all of our clients and family to SOMAT for their renovation needs. SOMAT has done numerous remodeling jobs for me starting with my master bedroom/bathroom, to remodeling my full size basement (including home theater, wine cellar, etc.), to most recently the top floor (bedrooms and bathrooms) and hardwood floors throughout. He has done everything from framing and plumbing and electrical to tile/marble and finish/detail work. Throughout he has earned my highest praise in work product and professionalism and as result he is my goto contractor for every job I have. We cannot say enough great things about SOMAT Remodeling! My husband and I purchased an old townhouse on Capitol Hill that needed a complete renovation. Renzo and his team added all new electrical, plumbing, an HVAC, finished the basement, remodeled 3 bathrooms (one addition), the kitchen, and all three bedrooms—-in just over 4 months (way faster than what we were quoted by other contractors). The finished result is better than we could have ever imagined. Renzo and his team are exceptionally friendly, and their attention to detail is incredible--every single inch of our home was thoughtfully developed and finished. Renzo was very communicative throughout the entire project. He was extremely organized with our allowances, made sure we stayed on budget, and was always suggesting innovative ways for us to save money without compromising the integrity of the project. The SOMAT team was not only very easy to work with but really knows how to build a back deck,, The one they did for us is very well built and looks great. My wife and I were so impressed by their hard work and excellent organization. They set up well and work like crazy all day. Most important to us was their ability to handle all of the permitting, the deliveries, the construction set up, etc. We didn't have to do anything. We plan to hire them for other work on our home.

Very happy with my experience with Somat Remodeling! I found the contract to be reasonably priced compared to other quotes I received, and they stayed on budget. They were able to schedule the work quickly after we decided to move forward. Then they worked very efficiently, finishing on schedule and at a far faster pace then I thought possible. In under a month they completed a significant renovation on my Baltimore rowhouse: adding a ½ bath and closets to my basement, removing a structural wall around my staircase, fully renovating my upstairs bathroom, and replacing or refinishing the flooring throughout. Renzo was very responsive and, despite this being my first home renovation, I felt comfortable throughout the process. I found the work to be high quality with good attention to detail. It’s been a few months since completion and everything continues to work great. I think they went above and beyond on a few elements that others would have nickel and dimed me on. They took my ideas and executed them even better than I had hoped! Highly recommend!
