All of the work we completed did in fact pass inspection. Our scop of work was not completed because they got behind in payments. They continued to change the scope of work from the drawings. At the time they decided to change the vinyl siding to James Hardie cement board I informed them that we were not approved installers and that the company would not give them a warranty as such. They chose to move forward and hire their own siding contractor meanwhile they did not come current with the pay schedule. Both the Livingston County Building department and their hired Architect Bruce McCullen inspected and signed off on the work we completed. Last communication was that we would resume work when they became current....they never did. The Livingston County Building Department has documented record of inspections as well consultations with the customer were they have approved our work and cleared Spencer & Sons Construction of any further responsibility. The county removed us from the permit and relisted the home owner as the permit holder. The Architect Bruce McCullen continues to refer us to his clients.
