Thanks to the Sterling Ridge Properties team we have now been in our completely custom, waterfront Dream Home for 10 months now! From our first meeting with Dominick and Laura we knew we would be taken care of like family. The meticulous care they give to every aspect of the process makes it as stress-free a process as building a home can be! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to place our dreams in Sterling Ridge’s hands. We know they are always there should we ever need anything and that reassurance is priceless! There is nothing easy about building a new home . The most difficult first step is convincing yourself that the old place that has been home for 38 years had seen its best days . I would not part with the view I had grown to love since I first moved in , so relocation was not an option . Every evening I came home from work and watched a new house across the street being built . I went into the new build occasionally to see what was going on inside . The site was neat and clean and building debris was kept to a minimum . I noticed the Sturdy , straight wood work . I also notice that every midday and evening the contractor was there to inspect the work . I noticed the meticulous framing and concrete work that was being done and decided to approach the architect , Clement Foss to design for me a home with the idea of having Sterling Ridge Properties build my new home . Sterling ridge is owned by Dominick and Laura Scarpinato . They meshed well with the architectural firm of Clement Foss . We proceeded with the building plans and within a few months we were having the old house demolished ………… I couldn’t watch . In one day it was gone and scooped up . Sterling Ridge took over from there . We had weekly meetings to keep me and Amy appraised of the subcontractor schedule and the utilization of the agreed upon allowances for the building . From “building” start it took approximately 18 months to erect the home . Sterling Ridge brought in specialists to put in the 70 pilings under the foundation . Concrete specialists from New York were brought in to oversee the pouring and curing of the concrete into the foundation and then many times more to encase the tons of steel that went into the first and second floors . The house is concrete and steel from the ground to the roof . The windows were another specialist challenge . The eight seamless main living room windows weighed 850 pounds each and were poured in China . I watched the installation of the windows and I can say that was an engineering masterpiece . All the windows are 145 MPH missile proof since the house is open to the water . The master plan from Clement Foss was masterfully executed by Sterling Ridge and orchestrated in person by Dominick Scarpinato . I could go into greater detail about how difficult this construction was , but in conclusion Sterling Ridge delivered the exact home we specified . We have now been in the home for three months and it is more than we expected . It is beautiful . The view of the water is spectacular and most of all , it is very comfortable !!!!!!! Rarely will any customer be completely happy with their contractor after completing a home building or other large construction project. Things happen during construction that can often make a customer unhappy or very frustrated. WELL....I am VERY HAPPY with this company. I had Sterling Ridge knock down and rebuild a large custom home several years ago and was extremely happy with the quality of the work and the kindness, honesty and excellence of Dominick Scarpinato. More recently we hired Sterling Ridge to handle a complicated office addition/renovation for a 9000 square foot property. Once again, the work was excellent and I am even more convinced that Dominick Scarpinato and Sterling Ridge are the best builders in Tampa. Lots of contractors make promises but few keep them. This company will not disappoint you. They will complete your project as promised and you will love the quality. And, if for some reason something goes wrong Dominick Scarpinato will make it right. That is the way he does business. I give this company my highest recommendation. And if I ever have a need for their services in the future you can bet I will be using Sterling Ridge.

After living in an older home for a year we knew where the problems were and what needed to change to move things out of the 1960's. We just did not know how. We talked over our list with Dominick and Laura. Their experience and design ideas gave us a house that feels better, is lighter and insulated, and has many updates and upgrades we never would have thought of but they make daily living easier. Dominick worked hard to find the contractors who would give us the quality of work we wanted while keeping an eye on the budget. Working with them was a pleasure and I would do it again.

I would highly recommend Sterling Ridge!! The quality of work is above and beyond!! They treat the house as if it's their own. They are a builder you can trust which was most important to us. The attention to detail was so appreciated. Would work with them again although probably won't ever leave this house!! We love it!!!

Sterling ridge completed our custom home in 2016. When we initially considered building our dream house, we knew we wanted to use a builder who could be trusted with such an important part of our lives. We wanted to use a company that would put the time and effort as well as attention to detail into our home as they would their own. We also relied heavily on Laura for interior design choices. They were both a pleasure to work with, and we feel that the houses they build are second to none with regards to luxury homes in the Tampa Bay area.

Dominick and Laura built our custom dream home in 2014/2015. They were referred to us by a local realtor as the best custom home builder in the area and they did not disappoint! From the beginning, they showed themselves to be genuine, trustworthy, and passionate about building the perfect home. Dominick's years of experience make him a true expert in the field. Not only were my husband and I happy with his work but we frequently got compliments and words of approval from other sub contractors who worked in the home. Laura worked endlessly to help hand select every finishing detail of the home and help make sure the home building process went as smoothly as possible.

Dominick and Sterling Ridge Custom homes built a beautiful and quality home for our family. From the very beginning designing with the architect to the final stage of hardwood floor refinishing we felt like we were in good hands, We used a plan designed by Dominick and modified it to meet our family's needs and the result is a unique quality home. Dominick and Laura were with us every step of the way. Dominick's building expertise and love of woodwork is evident in every stage of the process. We were new in town and unsure where to go for granite, tile, carpeting, appliances, etc. but they were very knowledgeable and recommended great vendors for the various items, often accompanying us to the showrooms to help us choose the right thing. We have recommended Sterling Ridge to many friends and continue to do so because they have only continued to build beautiful custom homes since ours was completed 10 years ago.

The design of our home had a lot of specific detail, particularly on the interior trim and tile work.
