We’ve worked with Hoyt several times on remodeling projects big and small at our 170 year old home in Freeport. We’ve benefited from Hoyt’s experience throughout these projects in helping to design the finished product, and his work is absolutely meticulous and of the highest quality. We have been so happy with the results every time!

I knew Hoyt did quality work. I was THRILLED when he accepted a job to install a bathroom van in my condo (where one had never existed). It was important to me to have someone who I trusted with carpentry and electrical. Plus, he patiently helped me address concerns from the condo association/property management company about putting a hole in the roof. He completed all work from start to finish while I was away at work and didn’t leave a spec of dust behind to indicate he’d been there. I just came home worry-free with a new exhaust fan in the ceiling that I never expected I’d be so excited to see.

We hired this contractor for three major jobs including the addition of a full bath and complete renovation of our kitchen and living space area. We cannot express our enthusiasm enough for the work completed in all areas of the timeliness, quality, workmanship and attention to detail. His estimates were reasonable and his ability to be flexible with unforeseen changes made him easy to work with. He combines the unique ability to not only know how to do everything but also with an artistic and strong visual sense of the final outcome. We give him the highest recommendations.

Saridel is a thorough, responsive, reliable and meticulous professional. I contracted with him for a kitchen renovation, and from the start the process has been terrific. He started with a consultation to review all of my needs and expectations, followed up with a clear contract, and and then delivered with quality craftsmanship. He was also very careful about controlling dust and disruption to my household during the renovation. Lastly, he went above and beyond during the project - fixing issues with electrical and ensuring that everything was shipshape. I would highly recommend him to others and would hire him again without reservation.

Hired STF for finish work on two of my multi unit modern contemporary apartment buildings in Downtown Portland. Superb, meticulous and efficient hard work. A pleasure to deal with. Honest and dependable. I have also had the pleasure of working as a sub under STF and no other contractor can reach the goals of the customer while also treating subs with respect along every step of the process The flow of the projects are smooth and no aspect of the project is left without a thorough understanding by everyone involved. Including the customer.

Hoyt did a beautiful job replacing the ceilings in our 1820s farmhouse. He is very good with drywall, has a great eye for design and honoring an old house. Most importantly, he is honest, reliable, and always thinking of how he can help his clients best. We wholeheartedly recommend him.
