Troup Construction

Needed an electrical outlet installed in the garage for our new hybrid car. We were given a fair price and an installation date. Hunter and his assistant took the time to protect our home prior to starting his work. After the work was done he left our house and garage just as clean as before he started. Looking forward to using Sutton Troup Construction for a couple more projects we have planned!

Sutton Troup Construction is amazing. They have done extensive work at my offices, home and that of many people I know. In each instance, they have delivered exactly what was promised, on time and on budget. Dan and Hunter obviously care about their client's needs and concerns, and take significant pride in their work. They will not leave a job site or project until it is absolutely perfect. In my experience, it is very rare to have a contractor care like Dan and Hunter do, and it shows in their actions and completed work. I cannot recommend them more highly! Mike McLean

I loved working with Sutton Troup on my remodel project. They made it easy and enjoyable. So glad that I was able to find someone who really understood my vision for my space and was able to make it a reality. They worked quickly but with a high level of craftsmanship. I now have a beautiful totally custom front door in modern scandinavian stlye to go with my mid-century house. I get a lot of compliments on it and it sets the tone for my whole space. They earned my trust and confidence, looking forward to more remodeling projects with them.

Dan and his team have done both a major remodel and some more minor projects for us at two different locations. He and his team updated and modernized our home in Newport Beach. Not only did he do the work we had requested at a high level, but he also made recommendations that we would have never considered that made the end result that much better. Some of the things we like about Dan and Sutton Troup have to do with their attention to detail, there help/management in sourcing needed items (at cost), and their cleanliness while working (they take the time to prep the area to control dust/footprints/etc. and they clean up at the end of each day). For our Newport house Dan and the team expanded a laundry room, added custom cabinets, painted the entire house, repaired roofing issues, redid our walnut wood floors, added new baseboards, and textured and drywalled damaged walls in our home. The work was done on time and met the agreed upon budget. From my past experience with contractors, being on time and on budget is a BIG deal! As a result of his work, we were able to sell our home at a high price and we moved to San Juan Capistrano. Since moving in here, Dan and his team have done some dry walling work and installed a new "barn sliding door" that matches existing doors in our space. Since the door was not something you could buy, Dan built it himself. I highly recommend Sutton Troup Construction.

I love my beautiful glass backsplash in my kitchen. My husband knew the shape of the glass was definitely going to need a professional and Sutton group did not disappoint. Daniel was very respectful of my house and made sure to paper the floors so that there wasn’t a mess everywhere. He was clean and professional. He was even very sweet to my dogs. I am already thinking about the next project for Sutton Troup to do.
