T.A. French was the builder of our home in New Braunfels, Texas, and every day we thank our lucky stars! Troy and his team are TERRIFIC to work with, from the initial "meet and greet" you have with a building liaison, through the design process and the construction with your assigned foreman. Reputation and customer service are huge factors in selecting a builder - you better feel comfortable in the preliminary meeting! We built while living in another state so trust was enormous for us since we wouldn't observe the construction process. We worked with Shay Cosgrove as our building liaison, and she was awesome. Friendly and professional, she was prompt at getting us answers to questions, and just made us feel comfortable during the entire process. James Welborn was our construction foreman, and he was excellent to work with as well. He was great at sending pics and shooting some video to help us see what was going on. He was great on the fly and in making adjustments, and no question was too dumb for him to answer patiently. The house turned out beautiful! It's tight and well made. I walked through during some of the construction phases and brought knowledge buddies with me, and they were impressed with what they saw. But here is the deal sealer - what is the builder like after you move in and have issues? I have heard numerous horror stories from neighbors who went with other builders about their attempts to get problems addressed or "punch out" lists completed. We moved in with a few punch list items left and James got those items completed to our satisfaction. Any small issues we found we just called the office and they got the appropriate person out to handle it in a timely manner. I have had numerous conversations with neighbors in our development who have said: "if I could do it all again, I would go with TA French."

TA French and his company were extremely accommodating when my wife first purchase our lot and began to design our future retirement home in Vintage Oaks. This was no small accomplishment since my wife and so were living in Monterey, CA at the time. Throughout the entire construction process, Troy’s qualified and extremely professional associates facilitated every aspect of the process, from designing every square foot of the house to selecting interior colors, cabinets and fixtures. The several times that we visited New Braunfels to check on progress, Troy and his crew made an effort to ensure that what we saw was what we really wanted. The completed house exceeded our expectations and any needed follow up was always performed timely and reasonably. Excellent Builder!

Shay was amazing! She is so honest. She scouted a potential building site for us and was honest about the lot difficulties from the beginning. She saved us from purchasing a huge headache. I plan to use TA French for a large remodel in the coming year.

Troy French has built an excellent, customer oriented approach to building high quality custom homes in the New Braunfels area.. He has an excellent support team of sales, design, decorating and construction professionals who blend seamlessly with the prospective owner and guide them through the process. My wife and I had built several new homes through the years and we had never had such detailed oversight and attention to our project. 2 1/2 years after moving into our home I can still call Troy or any of the key players involved in our home with questions or concerns. You cannot do that with one of the "corporate builders". TA French has done a great job placing his company as just the right size to combine builders leverage with excellent customer service. We highly recommend his team!

TA French provided an amazing house for us. While we had an idea of what we wanted, they guided us through the entire process, listening to what we wanted in design and finishes. The staff at TA French kept us on budget and on time (despite weather issues at the beginning of the process). If you are looking for custom home builders, there isn't a better company and staff out there. We highly recommend them!

Having personally renovated two homes and built one from scratch, we have lived by the motto "If ypu want something done right, do it yourself." When we decided to hire a builder, the homes built by Troy French easily met our standards. The entire experience was a joy from beginning to end. You can not find a builder with more integrity, good humor, excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and a crew that produces a home on time, on budget and specific to your needs.

Troy and company did everything right and produced a house that we're very happy with. We built a house that was totally custom and it's MUCH nicer than the majority of houses in Vintage Oaks which are "speculation-type" tract homes slightly customized. Everything about our house is outstanding, and Troy's after-sale support has been outstanding.

We selected TAFrench as our custom home builder in the Texas Hill Country after significant reasearch, interviews, and visiting several models and homes in various stages of construction. Shay Cosgrove is an absolute treasure to work with. Troy is the consummate professional, and James Wellborn is the detailed conductor that keeps the project moving on schedule. They built for us a beautiful, 4,700 sq ft home, helping us through the selection process for every detail by providing expert advice. We couldn't be happier with the final product!

ONe of the Best parts of build is James, project manager. Any call or Text he responded fast. AMazing how he can coordinate so much activity but he does. Materials arrived as expected. Have to give excellent score to the guy who took my sketch and designed a perfect home for me. Super designs from him that I hadn't thought of but I love, like the porch and double doors. Options and finishes were exactly my taste. Office kids Shay and Sarah so responsive to my questions no matter how silly. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

We came to T.A. French with a hand drawing of a house on a piece of paper, and they built that house. We were included in every aspect of the build. and encouraged to visit the site as much as possible. They were able to meet our budget, and complete the project on time. The experience was great!! We would do it again!!
