We had a small (two bathrooms remodeled) job for Joe but you would never know it was a small job to him. He and his crew were great to work with. They were on time, courteous, and very professional throughout. And the final cost was exactly what Joe bid, which was very competitive against the other bids we received. There was never the slightest hint of 'scope creep.' I would highly recommend Joe for any construction job.

Joe and his team were the best thing to happen to us for our extensive remodel (2nd-story addition, foundation work, roof changes, everything torn down to the studs, and all new finishes). Here are just a few things that make Tatis Construction stand out over any other contractor you can find: 1. Detail-oriented true builders. When Joe, Ramon, and Humberto came to our house for the initial consultation, they had clearly already studied the building plans carefully and immediately started walking around to tricky areas, crawling under the house to look at existing footers and climbing up to look at the attic space. Other contractors spent all of their time trying to sell us on gimmicky project management apps and showing flashy pictures of past projects. Joe and team are true builders, and they make sure they can build things right. He has great relationships with the city permitting office, and he would always magically take care of things so we never had to deal with it. 2. Honest, kind, and caring communication. We met regularly with Joe throughout our project, and he always listened carefully to what we wanted. You can feel that he really cares that his clients love their home. Early on in the build, we realized that there was something in the architectural plans that we didn't like (a low-hanging beam). Even though Joe had nothing to do with the faulty architectural plans, he could tell that we were upset and he brought his team together to brainstorm better solutions for us. They came up with an idea that we loved, didn't require re-submitting plans, and moved our project forward - a win all around! 3. Craftsmanship. The end result of our house is beyond anything we could've hoped for! There are so many tiny details that together make the entire space feel incredibly polished and custom. Joe notices things that I don't even notice (and I'm very particular!). He points out what he sees to us, and he proactively adjusts things to perfection. We are forever grateful to Joe and his whole team!

Joe did a great job with our Master Bedroom/Bathroom addition. We were a little delayed with COVID and a few other manufacturing issues but overall the new space is beautiful and we are happy in it!

I knew from the day that Joe and Ramon came to give me the bid for my project that they were the Contractors I wanted to work with. They were professional and kind, listened to what I wanted to do and offered great input and suggestions. As soon as I got Joe’s bid, I called to secure Tatis Construction for my remodel. At that point, the job was smaller – just to remodel the downstairs bathroom and lay new floors in the family room, bathroom and laundry room after a small flood. We were so pleased with Joe’s crew’s work and guidance through that process, we quickly decided to grow the scope of the project. We added a full kitchen remodel, a complete update of the downstairs and new windows for the entire house. Joe was very professional, patient and responsive any time I reached out to him with a question or concern, and that was very much appreciated. Any question I had was answered with “We can do that.” or “No problem, we’ll take care of it.” And that is exactly what happened. Every bump along the way was handled perfectly and I could have never imagined how beautiful my house would look in the end. They really did an amazing transformation to our home, which is 50 years old and had the original kitchen and bathroom. Working with Joe was a fantastic experience from beginning to end! He continuously went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the work and service. He has high standards for the crew on the job and it shows. All of the subcontractors were true professionals as well and a pleasure to have work in my home. They did a great job, were polite and kind and left their work space cleaner than they found it! Joe helped my family rebuild an out of code addition while creating a master bedroom, dining room, and bathroom addition. And he helped lay groundwork for an awesome backyard life. He and his crew have a high level of resilience to challenges and overdeliver to plans.

We have done two remodels with Joe. The first was a full kitchen remodel about 5 years ago, and more recently a full house remodel (everything except the kitchen that was already done). Joe is a fantastic contractor. He came in with a competitive bid, and is always fully transparent with us, which builds the trust that is so crucial when doing a project of this size. The work was great and he also helped us to see different potential visions we didn't see, and some we eventually went with. We never had to 2nd guess anything that came up, as we know How had our best interest at heart and wanted to deliver a great product for us. Which he did! We worked with Joe and the crew to do an extensive home remodel (Open kitchen concept, 2 bathrooms, laundry room, flooring, paint and more). With each space, we reconfigured the layout, moved windows, opened up the walls, vaulted the ceiling, skylight, you name it. We basically took the house down to the studs. Anyone who has done any remodeling project big or small knows how stressful it can be. From the time we met Joe to walk through our ideas, to moving into our dream home, it was Easy! They are skilled professionals that focus on the details which are important to me. Joe is very communicative throughout the whole process. He let me know what was being worked on, the status of all our inspections, and always walked through design elements (big or small) before starting to confirm it met our vision. Add to that, COVID delays and change orders due to the age of the home and us adding more to the project, Joe kept his cool and got us into the house in our desired timeframe. I would definitely recommend them!!

We hired Joe for a full house remodel; extension, bedroom and bathroom addition, new great room and full exterior update. Nothing was left untouched. Joe and Ramon did a great job working through the large project. They built our contemporary house exactly to spec and were very accommodating to updates along the way. When we were unsure of specific choices, they made great recommendations. Even if we spotted something not to our liking they easily made the updates. Love their work and we have the house of our dreams. Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a big project.

We hired Joe Tatis to renovate a traditional 90’s home that we purchased in the Spring of 2019. We completely remodeled the kitchen and master bath, as well as installing all new hardwood floors and paint. We also updated the exterior of the home from red brick to a more modern stone. Joe was very responsive throughout the entire process. He is a great communicator and always follows through. We were impressed with how quickly his crew was able to start the demolition shortly after we closed on the house. We had a strict time frame because we had to be out of our rental property. And Joe worked with us on the timing and we were able to move into the new home, with the remodel not being complete. But he made sure we had a functioning kitchen and bath. And we were able to live through the remaining remodel. Overall I highly recommend Joe because of his communication and responsiveness and ability to complete things in a timely manner. We also thought his bid was fair and reasonable compared to other local contractors who bid on our project.

The minute Joe came to give me an estimate I knew that he is the one that I would hire for my remodel. My instincts were right. We have dealt with contractors before but Joe and Ramon are an exceptional team. I haven’t met more ethical and honest contractors like them. He is also reliable and extremely professional, a rarity the line of work he is in. We remodeled a entire kitchen, 3 bathrooms and fireplace and the lighting of our home. We have no complains in any area of his work. Till date we share a good relationship. I know that not many people even want to see their contractors after going through a large remodel. This in itself is a testament to him and his team and the work they do. To us they are more like family.

Absolutely would recommend Tatis Construction! Their team not only stayed on schedule, but beat their anticipated schedule. Every detail thought out and problems were anticipated before they turned into problems. The word "no" or "Can't" was never in their vocabulary. So happy how the final project turned out.
