Kevin and the team did a WHOLE HOUSE REMODEL for us and we couldn’t be happier. We love living here and we got everything we wanted. We re-did everything… kitchen, bathrooms, floors, walls, windows, doors, you name it. We even had some construction done to Kevin goes by the book and even when it started to look like something couldn’t be done (can’t put a toilet here because of the floor joists, can’t put a sliding door here because of the slope of the outdoor concrete…), just give Kevin a few days to think on it, and he’ll figure out a solution. He’s a thinker, and will figure out a legit by-the-code way to get you almost everything you want. We were so happy. He also has a keen eye for details and style. I think his specialty is tile, and we love our new bathrooms so much. If you have an idea and incorporate his advice, things will turn out beautiful. The working crew is also amazing. They work hard and do a solid job. And if you find anything, it’s minor and they’ll come fix it. You have to be reasonable about your expectations, but everyone is excited for you to enjoy the final product, and it’ll be great. Moving back in is taking forever but I can’t wait to add a picture. Definitely consider this team, they have good ideas and will work hard.

Teknik Inc. just completed the remodel of my kitchen, family room, and fireplace. The end result was even better than I imagined. Kevin and his design ability took my vision and made it even better. Ruth and the rest of the team were wonderful to work with and cared about the project as much as much as I did. I was out of the house for the first two months and the constant communication kept me informed and put me at ease. The job was done on time (actually early) and the entire team was attentive to every detail. I was so thrilled with this company, Kevin is already creating a design for the backyard. I will continue recommended Teknik to friends.

Teknik Design & Remodeling surprised us at every turn! First, the design was more thorough than I anticipated--they didn't want to leave any room for unexpected change orders or mistakes! We had 100% of our product before the job got started and there were no breaks or abandoning the job site or schedule like you hear about with so many in the industry. Remodeling is dusty but the crew was diligent to cover and mask my home daily, even from the front door to the master bathroom! The whole project was an enjoyable experience, from design to completion. Kevin and his team were always cooperative and flexible, on time and dependable! My husband and I had a new idea for an LED back-lit shampoo shelf and when we did the final walk-through, Kevin had secretly included it for us as a surprise! Great minds think alike! Raul, Chanh, Juan and other crew members were on time every single day and took great care of my house. Highly recommend!

Since Teknik had done a wonderful construction job by extending our family room, without any hesitation had TEKNIK (Kevin) do a small project requiring a removal of a wall between our kitchen and dining area in order to open the space to make kitchen brighter and opened our first floor completely. Actually, this was Kevin’s suggestion at the time of our first project with him. As before, he considered this project as his own did an excellent job. He finished within scheduled time and made the new opened space as if it was a part of original construction. He paid very close attention to details when reconfiguring crown molding, combining ceiling in on level from both areas and two different types of flooring. In addition, they moved our heavy furniture before and after completion of the work. We are very glad that we did project and very satisfied with the finished work. TEKNIK deserve at least 5 stars, but If we could, would give them more than 5 stars

The entire team at Teknik were fantastic and great to work with. Our master bathroom remodel came out far better than we had envisioned. The project completed right on budget and in the time frame that we were given at the start. The team wore masks the entire time and were very respectful of our space. I have very high regard and respect for Kevin and his crew at Teknik and would recommend them without reservation! They are very skilled professional craftsman who take pride in the quality of their work and stand behind it. The company has high integrity; they are honest in their estimates and in the work they produce. They are also reliable and show up as scheduled. They have done a number of projects for me over the years and have always stood behind their work until I was completely satisfied with each job. I wouldn’t have anyone else in my house!

For anyone like myself who really takes the time to interview/select a vendor for something, you need to call Teknik to include in your process. Kevin is a fantastic partner, and everyone in his company are complete professionals who are masters of their trade. I had a total remodel in my downtown condo, and could not be happier with the experience and results. This included 2 bathrooms, Kitchen/Dining/Entertainment center (all custom across the board.) My biggest concern going into this was hiring a contractor who would need to be managed. Kevin & Ruth are extremely detail oriented and were 2 steps ahead of me the entire time. The amount of detailed attention Kevin had for my project was a tremendous relief, and the entire experience was actually enjoyable. Keep in mind, this was even during Covid 19 limitations and I still feel this way!! I will never hire a different contractor in San Diego, and highly suggest you explore this company to see if you feel the same after. 10/

"Beach style master bedroom, bathroom, and closet remodel" We wanted our master bedroom and bath to be a sanctuary in our house... and it was definitely time for a remodel! (You don't know how bad it is until you take a picture. Yikes.) We didn't know how to find the right contractor, so like everyone, we started our search online (Angie's List, Home Advisor, Google etc.), looking for a contractor we could trust, be reasonably priced, and be a company we would "go-to" for additional jobs. Kevin, the owner of Teknik, was quick to respond to our online inquiry and within days, Kevin came to our house and we immediately felt comfortable and at ease. Kevin had so many design ideas that helped us envision what was right for our space. After entertaining a few more consultations with contractor companies, we knew the answer; it's Teknik for sure - their responsiveness, their heart, their design ideas. They cared about the project and our house as if it were their own. Every step of the way Kevin and Ruth were our partners in the design-build process, allowing us to remain in control of our project scope, selections, and overall budget. The whole experience was stress-free and actually fun! From demolition to finishing touches, the Teknik team was courteous, polite, punctual, and kept our home clean through-out the construction process. Our new go-to contractor team for life. NO MORE SEARCHING ONLINE!

We had Teknik remodel our kitchen, staircase, and outdoor patio. We absolutely LOVE the finished project! Kevin and his design-build team transformed our 20 year old, dated house into the envy of our neighborhood! We went from a dark, non-functional kitchen...into a fabulous, contemporary indoor/outdoor living area. The La Cantina door opening up to our patio added a whole new dimension to the way we live and entertain. Our home has been transformed into an inviting oasis, where family and friends want to be! Kevin had so many awesome ideas on how to modernize our living space, based on our personal needs. The scope of the project grew in the design phase, and end-product totally exceeds our exceptions!! The Teknik crew and staff are all amazingly professional, helpful, and responsive to all of our questions and needs. It felt like we all functioned as a team and it was truly a pleasure to work with Teknik!

My husband and I needed a dual bathroom remodel but we were nervous about having a contractor in our home, and about the project taking too long. A friend of mine has known Kevin for over 20 years and she'd used Teknik Inc. before! I saw the work he'd done and the attention to deatil and I LOVED the kitchen and bathroom work that they did. Once we met the team, we realized the whole process would be easier than we thought. The hardest part was choosing our favorite tile! :) The best part of the project for us was how available the Teknik team was, always calling or texting us back immediately when we had questions. We gave them our key, went on vacation to the Grand Canyon, and after we returned, the whole project was complete two weeks ahead of schedule! We will recommend Teknik anytime!

Teknik Inc. designed and built a large room with a covered patio for us. It could not have turned out better. They took pride in their work, and had a highly skilled team. I recently completed a kitchen remodel using Teknik construction. This is the 4th or 5th project they have completed for me over the past 4-5 years. They have done interior and exterior work for me. They finished AHEAD of schedule, the workmanship is amazing, on budget - discussing any up charges ahead of time allowing me to make a decision, helped me with color, decorating, and material choices, kept me from making stupid choices, cleaned up every day, I could go on and on.
