We have worked with Doug on a few projects and he is one of the most knowledgeable and easiest project managers we have had the pleasure of working with. We started working with Thorsen in late 2016 and it has been an absolute pleasure. Their attention to detail and quality of work truly displays that Thorsen is all about ensuring their customer's happiness. They are a premium builder for a reason, they are second to none. If I were to build a home I would use Thorsen.

I had interviewed several contractors and felt comfortable with Thorsen form the beginning. I was a bit nervous working with one company for construction and another for design and cabinets in the event there was a problem I did not want to be stuck in the middle. They recommended Southern Kitchens and they did an excellent job! James was always responsive to my requests and stopped by almost every day. The workers were always very courteous, professional and cleaned up every day. The cabinet installers are fantastic! There was a drawer under the cook top that did not fit and they came up with a creative way to make it work. My favorite person was Mario who was in charge of framing and carpentry work. When Mario was on site I knew only good things would happen. He paid attention to detail and always offered creative ideas when running into an unexpected problem. My only negative is when we got close to the end they needed to put resources on other projects. I did have a functioning kitchen but it was little things like under cabinet lights, door knobs, and switch plates, etc. that went a few weeks over the time frame. I would highly recommend Thorsen Construction and would use them again for other projects. I love my kitchen and never tire of hearing the complements.

Bob and his team built an addition for us 10 yrs ago and it has stood the test of time for sure. They did high quality work, although they did sometimes need owner oversight. In the end, we were very happy. They were fair and honest and the workers and subs were all great.

Thorsen Construction did a wonderful job with our remodel/addition. They worked closely with the architect and always thought about quality and attention to detail. Our site manager was amazing in his positive approach to everything; he was a joy to work with. I felt extremely comfortable having each and every tradesman inside my house. We slipped with regard to a few deadlines related to the weather and although it was frustrating, in hindsight it is clear they managed our project and the others they were working on at the same time as best they could. I've worked extensively with Thorsen Construction for nearly three decades and three generations of Thorsen Family leadership. Their entire organization is first rate... prompt, courteous and professional. Often, I must travel to their projects and I get to see first hand the wonderful work they do. An outstanding family run business I would recommend to anyone considering a remodel, addition or custom home.

Thorsen is the process of building an addition to our master bedroom with a bay window and a larger walk-in closet, installing new floor tile in the kitchen and new windows. They will be expanding and completely renovating the master bath; renovating the guest bath; and designing and building an entertainment center in our family room. When the excavation work was off to a slow start, the problem was resolved by Thorsen by replacing the subcontractor with their own employees. They arrive at 7 am and sometimes work as late as 7 pm, and as a result within several weeks are completing the addition. The workers and James Thorsen Vice President of Construction who oversees the work are courteous, friendly, and professional, and the latter keeps us informed of the status of the work and any challenges they may be experiencing. Charles L. Carruthers the architect who drew up the plans was also professional and courteous as well as Thorsen's interior decorated Mary Carol Davis.

We had the pleasure of working with Thorsen for our home renovation last summer. They are truly professionals, in every sense of the word. They are highly knowledgeable, skilled craftsmen, and a pleasure to be around. We had a tight timeframe for our project and Thorsen delivered on time! We often popped into our home throughout the renovation and Thorsen's crew was always courteous and willing to show us the progress they had made. We had some very challenging tile work to be done in one of our new bathrooms and Thorsen was very patient and willing to work with us to lay the tile as we planned. There were many other areas of our project Thorsen went above and beyond on and we are truly grateful for their dedication and persistence to delivering the highest quality work. We are thrilled with our new home and very much enjoyed getting to work with Thorsen. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
