Timber Wolff is a small family owned company in the Calgary area. Rod Wolff and his son, Nick, are the owners and together they have built a large network of sub-contractors and suppliers. It doesn’t matter what they need or need to have done…..they have the right guy for the job. After interacting with several of the subs/suppliers it became evident to us that TW has a great reputation in the industry, and we benefitted because of it, with superior service and better pricing. Our renovation involved building an entire new home inside the exterior structure of an old condo. Rod, Dave and team vaulted the ceiling and then raised a beam in the basement to elevate the height of the basement ceiling as well. Our designer (Uniik Design) was innovative and planned for many modern features that most homes don’t have (eg. LED strip lighting in the ceiling, a 40 ft 3D feature wall with 2 hidden doors, custom-made large ring (4 – 6 ft diameter) pendant uplights and more). The TW team was eager to provide these features for us, and got busy figuring out how to make it all work right away. The special design features are one part of what makes our home one-of-a-kind, but the other factor is excellent workmanship. All subcontractors gave us excellent quality and beautiful work. In the few circumstances where the result was not great, Dave (site supervisor) had the job re-done until it met his satisfaction, which always meant that we were pleased with the result. Rod and the TW team are highly competent, hard-working, honest, time efficient and fun. There was not one person or supplier on the team that we didn’t like. They all did their best to please us, so the build from start to finish was a happy experience for all of us. Timber Wolff is completely transparent and more than fair to the client about their billing structure and process. Each employee subcontractor is treated fairly as well, but is held to the original cost quoted. Our project came in at the expected cost. Yay!! Our new home is truly our ‘forever’ home. When compared to our friend’s renovations, ours is jaw-dropping and of high quality wherever you look. It is clear to us, that Timber Wolff gave us a lot more bang for significantly less money, and to top it all off we are still friends at the end of the project. What more could you ask for? We highly recommend Timber Wolff to anyone for any project, big or small. If they say they can do it, they will, and you will be pleased with the result. It’s as simple as that. Our kitchen renovation was a huge success. It was a relatively small job for Timber Wolff but we never felt that it was minimal. There are always little glitches along the way but Timber Wolff handled them with professionalism. and resolved problems in a timely manner. All aspects of the job were completed on time and all the tradesmen were competent, polite and arrived when scheduled, and best of all we have made some new friends along the way. We love our kitchen and are thankful for it every day.

Rod and his team at Timber Wolff did a great job on our kitchen reno. Timber Wolff was recommended to us by Bow Valley Kitchens (who also did a great job). It was the first large renovation that we've ever undertaken and we were nervous. Rod answered any questions that we had and provided reassurances and recommendations -- but no pressure. They made changes if we requested and were up front with pricing. Everything turned out amazing.

My sister recommended Rod to do our kitchen renovation, along with changing the flooring on the house. He and his crew were very professional and we were very pleased with the job done. Any hiccups were handled promptly. They thought of everything that had to be dealt with during the renovations. We are now enjoying the kitchen! Now that we have to stay in more, we have been doing more cooking and baking. Thank goodness we had the work done by a professional and trustworthy company!

We hired Timber Wolff Designs to completely renovate the main floor of a house we purchased last year. We interviewed three different contractors, and in the end hired Timber Wolff based on their expertise and ability to work within our budget and vision. The whole crew was always professional, respectful and had excellent attention to detail. Shaun provided us with exceptional custom-made cabinetry and a walk-in pantry that is both grand and functional. Matt was very knowledgeable when it came to picking out paint colours and provided us with his recommendations as to what cabinet colours would work best in our home, with our lighting. Dave was always available to answer all of our endless questions and provide us with timeline updates and reassurance for any of our concerns. He also ensured that the work being completed was done to the upmost standard and quality. Rod did a great job making sure we received everything that we wished for, even when that meant selecting different products and saving original house-material that could be updated at a later time, to ensure that we stayed within budget. We were beyond the 12-week deadline, however we were still able to move in, it just meant that we continued to have a few sub-contractors in and out of the house. In the end, we would not change anything as it meant that all the work completed was done to the quality Timber Wolff guaranteed, which was beyond our expectations. We would absolutely hire Timber Wolff Designs again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking an experienced and high quality contractor. We hope to use them again when we eventually plan to renovate our basement!

The Timber Wolff team did an excellent job with our interior and exterior renovation. Everything was finished beautifully and were great collaborators to get the results we wanted. Their preferred suppliers are also excellent and all fantastic to work with.

We knew right there and then that it was time to cut our losses with the other contractor and hire Timber Wolff Designs. That was the best decision we made!! Rod is an accomplished contractor who listened carefully to our thoughts and ideas throughout the entire process; he did everything in his power to make our kitchen all we dreamt it could be and more! After viewing first-hand several of their completed full-home renovation projects, we retained the services of Timber Wolff Designs (TWD) to complete a major interior and exterior renovation of our 25 year old executive bungalow. We felt confident TWD could meet our objective - to raise our home, backing on to the Bow River natural area, from builder grade materials to natural materials and high quality natural finishes with certain floor plan, security, sound and home theatre enhancements. It became evident very early that TWD’s professionalism, knowledge, experience and interpersonal skills exceeded our needs. Rod Wolff, the friendly owner of TWD, provided an overview of comparable projects completed by TWD. He then led us through their project planning and project management process which provided the road map we needed to go through many unknowns with budget management rigor, a schedule and a resource plan. We independently engaged one of the several interior designer’s TWD recommended – a god-send for our completed project. Then, all completed design elements – from layout through building permits, construction approach to finishing were determined with guidance from the designer and TWD, input from the subcontractors bidding on the work component, and us. TWD sought out and respected our input when awarding the work outlined in requests for bids from several sub-contractors. Importantly, TWD’s skill provided great value to us; 1) TWD produced all needed plans and obtained all needed permits, 2) TWD promptly provided typically three competitive, thorough quotations to complete work on schedule from VERY qualified and motivated sub-contractors, 3) TWD created an open dialogue with successful sub-contractors which enabled us to adopt many, many of their sensible enhancements during the course of construction, 4) TWD’s combined sensible input from all the range of performers produced significant overall cost reductions to us. TWD’s skills include an experienced meticulous eye. Dave Schwang, the TWD construction manager that performed oversight on our project was on hand, often daily, assuring that work was well coordinated and of very high quality. TWD’s commitment to quality resulted in non-acceptance of subcontracted work that did not meet their exacting standards. Moreover, we were quite delighted to notice TWD asking sub-contractors make simple and accurate adjustments to acceptable work in framing, wiring, plumbing, etc, that greatly improved the ultimate finish. We congratulate TWD on our major job very well done, on a blistering schedule within an approved budget. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work, and our decision to retain TWD.

Rod and his team are dedicated professionals with great attention to detail and pride in their work. His team treated our home as if it were their own. We have had our entire house renovated by Timber Wolff (two separate projects) and are extremely happy with the results and our experience. The quality of craftsmanship is outstanding. I recently had Timber Wolff designs renovate 2 bathrooms and add an additional bathroom in my house. The whole process from bathroom design to finished product went well and I am very pleased with the finished product. Rod and Dave were great to deal with and if there were any issues or concerns they dealt with them right away. I would recommend Timber Wolff for any home renovation project. I would definitely use them again for my next project.

We had Timber Wolff do a patio and gazebo for us in the summer. In the Fall we did a remodel of our master bedroom and two bathrooms. We are very happy with everything Rod and his crew did for us. We had Timber Wolff do a renovation on our Clubhouse at Carnmoney Golf Club in the spring of 2016. Rod and his team went above and beyond our expectations. Rod and his team worked with our designer and executed changes and additions to the job as requested. The job was done on time, under budget and they were great on problem solving unforeseen issues that come up in a renovation. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any size of project.

We hired Timber Wolff Designs Inc. to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms after interviewing and receiving estimates from 5 other renovation companies. Rod Wolff's quote was detailed enough to give us the confidence that he knew what we wanted. A less qualified renovator may have surprised us with unanticipated costs, but Rod's experience completing many, many renovation projects enabled him to deliver our project according to the quote. Rod also provided many good insights and ideas that other companies did not. The cost estimate was mid-range of the quotes that we received and we felt very fair. Despite a couple of set backs with the custom kitchen cabinet supplier, Timber Wolff was able to complete the job only a few days beyond the original estimate of 6 weeks. Another renovator might have passed the blame on to the supplier and let the timelines slide, but Rod was relentless in getting the project completed on time. All Timber Wolff employees and sub-trades provided high quality workmanship and attention to detail. They were on-time, friendly, and professional and kept the work site clean. We would/will definitely hire Timber Wolff Designs Inc. for future projects. We highly recommend this company for renovation projects.

Rod was referred to us by our realtor in Bragg Creek and he certainly lived up to his excellent reputation. He was willing to assume the total renovation of two and a half bathrooms (from the early 90's era) in our Bragg Creek home. We are very pleased with the end result. Rod completed the work on budget and was very forthcoming in presenting cost-saving ideas. We feel that it was excellent value for the money spent. After deciding to update my dark and dingy master ensuite and main floor powder room (wish I had taken “before” pictures to show you), I asked my interior designer to recommend a contractor to manage the project. She introduced me to Rod Wolff – after meeting Rod I didn’t hesitate to hire his company. The professional relationship between Rod and my interior designer set the stage for a renovation that progressed smoothly from start to finish. Once I saw the excellent work product of Rod’s team, I expanded my project to include additional work in the master bedroom and refinishing the hardwood floors throughout on the main floor. I was impressed with how quickly Rod was able to get quotes and professionals on site to complete these additional items. Although my project was relatively small in the renovation world, Rod and his team always made me feel like my project was a top priority for them. The end result was amazing!!! I now have a high-end bathroom that is a pleasure to walk into, hardwood floors that bring a feeling of warmth into my home and a master bedroom retreat that feels a tranquil oasis … all of this and he stayed on budget and completed the renovations in a timely fashion. We have hired Timber Wolff Designs Inc. for two renovations and one flood restoration. We provided the conceptual designs for the work but they effectively worked with the concepts and turned them into detailed designs. They have a number of trades that they use to construct the designs and we are pleased with the quality of the trade work. The work was completed on time, we had a cost plus contract and were not surprised by the final cost. We would certainly utilize Timber Wolff for another renovation.

Hired Rod and his team for a number of small renovation projects as well as the purchase & installation of new kitchen windows & patio sliding door, some yard lighting & painting. The team were all very professional, kept me informed as to timelines and what to expect. When we discovered any issue they explained it thoroughly and provided solutions - this made the normal disruptions of a Reno very smooth & we were not surprised by anything. They arrived on time & left our home very clean each nite. I had a follow up call from Timber Wolff two weeks after the project to ensure we were pleased and to check if there were any things that we had discovered about the reno that required their follow up or attention. Hard to add pictures as the Reno was an accumulation of smaller items. I would highly recommend Rod & his team as they were the best team I have dealt with over the years with a number of other renovations & horror stories.

I hired Timber Wolff Designs to do a full renovation of my basement. They came highly recommended. When I contacted them through their website, Rod got back to me almost right away. He was available to come for a quote around my working hours which was really nice. He gave me a quote and he has been able to stay within the budget which I hear is a rarity! He has always been courteous and very professional. everyone that has been working at my home has been respectful and polite and they always clean at the end of the day. He has stayed within the time line that I was quoted which is great! Rod has always kept me informed of what was happening at my home and how we were progressing along with things. It was very exciting to see my basement go from a hideous 1970's style wood panel, drop ceiling gold shell sink etc to something that looks so modern and clean and ...well I wasn't sure what I wanted and Rod and his team were very helpful in helping me to decide what the new look for my basement would be! I am very happy with the work of Timber Wolff Designs and when I am ready to do my kitchen renovation, I will not even think of hiring anyone else! (I did have 5 companies in to do quotes for me and he was the one that I chose to go with) I would include photos but I am not sure how...besides the basement was so ugly that no one should have to see that! I would give more stars but they won't let me go higher than 5!!!

I met with Rod and immediately decided to hire him. I have heard horror stories about contractors but never once felt like Rod or Dave would let me down. I hired Timber Wolff Designs to renovate my kitchen. This included the removal of two walls, re-doing my ceiling, all electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. They were in charge of all of the trades. If something wasn't done to their high standards, they had it re-done. No questions asked. I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Timber Wolff Designs. Timberwolff Designs took on the very tough task of finishing 5 houses for us after the original builder walked away. These homes were all in the $2M-$3.5M range. Principal, Rod Wolff, gave estimates of completion, provided all services, oversaw all aspects of contruction in various stages, and completed the homes to the highest quality in a timely manner, well within projected budget and timelines. Rod and Company's care and attention to detail salvaged our project in a very difficult situation.
