We cannot recommend Ruben and Two Brothers enough based on our recent main bathroom renovation. The bathroom in our townhouse was originally a shower/tub combo, fairly small, and in bad shape. The demo stage was quick and clean, and Ruben and the team discovered that our floor had to be reinforced before being converted into a shower. They added this to their schedule and worked hard to get it done without extending the project too long. All work was done with incredible expertise. Ruben checked in with us often to make sure the bathroom was exactly how we wanted it. We had picked out the tile and fixtures, but the additional pieces that the team got were of high quality (and probably were better choices than we would have found!) In addition to the plumbing and timing, Two Brothers was also able to add an additional light for the shower and an additional outlet near the vanity. We are incredibly happy with our bathroom and the service that Two Brothers provided. We would recommend them to anyone who needs home improvement services.

Two Brothers Handyman and Home Improvement Service is my 'go to' company to resolve a number of home issues. In this case, I needed a second bedroom painted as a post recovery room for my daughter. Two Brothers fixed a number of issues: nail pops in the ceiling and covering a no-longer needed heating vent. Everything was done in a single day. they did a great job.

I contracted Two Brothers to do 2 full bathroom remodels, update my kitchen, install all new fixtures, and put in a dedicated microwave circuit outlet. The kitchen update consisted of painting the current cabinets white, removing and installing new backsplash, installing new cabinets and opening a half wall. I had a tight timeline (less than a month) as I was moving into this home with my toddler and wanted it to be complete and renovated for our move-in date. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they finished a few days ahead of schedule which was huge and allowed me extra time to get the home ready. They communicated with me every step of the way and offered suggestions and options when they ran into an issue (the home is 40+ years old). They worked well with outside cabinet and countertop vendors to ensure that everything we ordered would be delivered on time. I’m extremely pleased with how everything turned out and very grateful to have found them. They were honest, hard working and I could tell they cared about giving me the best outcome. I had them remove everything in 2 bathrooms, then start over. The sink, toilet and tub spaces did not change. I needed them to substantially finish both rooms within 3 weeks (my husband and I were going out of town.) When I told them I accepted their bid on a Friday, they wanted to start the following Monday! The previous time I had hired them, there was a 3 month wait. I provided all the finished products: tub, toilet, sink vanity and marble top, tile, faucets, mirrors, medicine cabinets, and light fixtures. They finished both bathrooms in 2 weeks! Everything was installed beautifully. They cut holes in the ceilings below to look for any water leakage from the tub plumbing, and repaired and painted the drywall (they had cut) perfectly. They laid down mats up the stairs and in the hallway where they walked. They cleaned up every day after work was done. All workers were in good spirits, all the time. I would definitely hire again! The cost was about $26,000 for both baths (not including what I purchased).

I used Two Brothers Services to install a 5ft. vanity and baseboards in a bathroom that I am remodeling. It was a great experience from start to finish. They arrived on time and were very professional. They did a great job of lifting and installing the huge vanity and countertop and the fixtures and new baseboards. In addition they did a great job patching the drywall to cover holes after medicine cabinets were removed. I would definitely use their services in the future and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors for consideration for their home improvement projects.

We are pleased beyond pleased with the quality and workmanship on our deck. My 9 year old deck had completely imploded due to rotting wood, cheap materials, and poor workmanship. We contacted Two Brothers as they had done a great job with our basement work room and storage room two years ago. Ruben and his crew went to work quickly to remove the old deck. They shored up the deck footers and replaced the entire deck with new composite wood. they replaced the steps and covered the entire deck frame with composite deck materials. The result is a beautiful deck that has made our neighbors envious... This deck should last as long as the warranty of the deck planking ...

Let me save you some time and effort, would we use Ruben & Team again...YES. From start to finish they took the time to address our questions on our master bath renovation. Ruben's estimate was clear and straightforward. During the construction communication was great. We previously had purchased the fixtures, vanity, and tile where the prior contract never showed up. They worked with us to ensure we had the appropriate amount of tile and grout. They respected our request to keep the floors protected during the project. Everything was completed on time as projected. Overall, no complaints, we will be using them again!

We had a great experience with Two Brothers. Ruben and Nancy were incredibly responsive. We always received a response within 24 hours, whether it was by phone, email, or text. We really valued this responsiveness and customer service, as we had experienced non-responsive contractors in the past which can be stressful. Ruben answered all our questions and gave us daily updates on the progress. We ended up with a beautiful, quality bathroom renovation which was exactly what we wanted. They repeatedly told us to let them know about any little detail that we weren't happy with--and they would come back immediately and fix it. We were happy with everything and didn't need them to come back, but it was wonderful to hear that our satisfaction with the finished product was their highest priority. It gave us a peace of mind that they cared about our reno as much as we did. Everyone at Two Brothers was incredibly professional and we would absolutely use them again!

I had them do a large master bathroom, with everything replaced. They tore up all the tile, including the tile around the soaking tub (it was tiled around the lip of the tub, so elevated). The home builder installed the base cabinets before floor tiling was done, so that part of the floor (as well as the tub area) had to get elevated to the same floor level height and had to have concrete poured to match. The floor had heating installed under the tile. I had the shower wall next to the cabinets cut down to open up the shower. Tiling was perfect throughout, including grout. The drywall installed was also perfect. We had large medicine cabinets installed (formerly, a large mirror), cherry base cabinets, granite, and vessel sinks. The shower glass and granite were installed by other companies. They painted the ceiling; I painted the walls and made the stained glass windows. Lighting, toilet, shower, tub and sink faucets were installed. I would definitely hire them again!

Ruben/Plutarco and team were great! Ruben gave me an initial consultation where he broke down the pricing and gave me a reasonable estimate (better cost than other contractors, especially ones that barely walked in, measured the rooms and gave me a price without so much as asking what I wanted). Work done was professional and within the timeframe provided (3 weeks for two bathrooms; some websites say it might take a month, but to be fair, I didn't change the footprint or have new plumbing or electricity installed). I provided all materials and the team were able to get everything installed to my specifications, with good feedback when I needed it.

I don't normally write reviews, but am making an exception to highlight the excellent work of Two Brothers on a recent partial basement renovation they completed for us. It is often difficult to find the right contractor--many quote lofty prices, while those that don't often fail to completely deliver. Two Brothers is a rare exception. Their quote was exactly what we thought was fair for the project, far less than others'. Their work, however, reflected that of a highly capable and professional small business. They were consistently polite, on time, and communicative. They understood our needs perfectly and offered solutions to accomplish what we wanted with minimal cost and disruption. They cleaned up after themselves and included some nice finishing touches to give our reno a classy polish. We were so pleased with their work that we added on a few extra items while we had them booked. Not only would we recommend them, but we now consider them our go-to for future projects.

We had a bathroom leak and contacted a few contractors on Houzz. Nancy, the manager, of Two Brothers Handymen was the first one to call me back. She was on top of everything during the whole process, from scheduling visits, to doing research for us, sharing documentation, and providing design services (for a reasonable fee). Nancy created a feeling of family - from the quick touch base calls, to going with us in person to the Floor and Decor store to select all materials for our renovation project, to saying "We will take care if you." And they did. Ruben, the owner, did most of the work in our bathroom. He is very prompt, and unobtrusive, he provides high quality service and is very transparent and reasonable about the time and money the project will take. He and his team are hard workers. They will start at 8.30am every day and will work until the job is done…

I could not be more happier to see the Two Brother's Team arrive on time and were well prepared to start work. I was putting up a floating deck and needed some expertise to step up and complete the bulk of work, which included validating the frame was square and making adjustments, mapping out, cutting, installing the joists, and leveling out the deck. Ruben, Johnny and Nancy of 2 Brothers Handyman Services, LLC, were trustworthy partners in renovating our two-bed, two-bath condominium. Our project involved demo and renovations of two full bathrooms, replacement of all hardwood floors, installation of light fixtures, replacement of damaged walls and insulation, and painting of all walls, trim and ceilings. The work took about two months and was competitively priced for the quality of services rendered. We found Ruben to be an extremely honest, fair and excellent partner. We were particularly impressed by: 1. Ruben’s creativity in finding solutions, including turning our extra bathroom space into a linen closet, and creating a trash bin drawer with our existing kitchen cabinets; 2. Custom woodworking, including customization of floating vanities and drawers, custom wall shelving and custom closet shelving; 3. How clean Ruben and his crew maintained the worksite through the project (Ruben noted he wanted the place to be safe and clean in the event that clients were to visit at any time); 4. How Ruben managed relationships with our condo board and our neighbors during the work; and 5. Ruben’s commitment to ensure we were happy with the work. We would highly recommend going with Ruben and would eagerly contract with him again. Ruben was always patient and dedicated to working through any issues, which underscore his commitment to his customers. Some examples include: 1. The project estimation process (i.e. scoping of work and contracting) took longer than expected. While there was a lot of back and forth, Ruben and Nancy were always very patient and responsive during this time and throughout the duration of the project. 2. There were one or two items that we needed to point out to be corrected (e.g. paint splatter and a tile installation error). When we raised these issues, Ruben quickly address them, consistently noting he wanted us to be happy. 3. There were items that we were responsible for supplying (e.g. closet door and grout), which resulted in some back and forth because we needed more information to make an informed purchase (e.g. closet door needed to include casing, grout needed to be a single component sealing grout). Because we did not get specific instructions, it may have caused time delays – but Ruben was very graceful and flexible, sometimes working on weekends and late into the night to accommodate our project timeline. Based on our experiences here are two things that made our partnership productive: 1. Have daily discussions with Ruben, either onsite or over the phone. This was very efficient for us to be aligned with the work that was happening that day (e.g. to jointly make big and small decisions) and to troubleshoot expected and unexpected issues. 2. Ask these questions when securing the quote: (1) Will this project require permits? (2) What will be the order of the work, and when will materials be needed that the client is responsible for purchasing? All and all, we are so thankful to Ruben for treating our home like his own and for making the place beautiful. For their quality craftmanship, insightful guidance, unwavering dedication to their customers, and positive attitude, we highly recommend Ruben and the 2 Brothers team for all your home improvement needs. We feel that we have found the contractor we will want to work with over and over again, and we cannot wait to invite him to our housewarming party so he can meet all of our family and friends and be recognized for the great work he and his team have done!

This review is from last year. Inquired about a hurried remodeled need for a bedroom. Previous owner had dogs that destroyed the carpet. It only did we get an immediate call back from Nancy, but Ruben came the following day, gave us a quote with material list, and came the following week to completely remodel the room just in time for the I laws to visit. Almost 1 year later, it is not o oh ours, but our cats favorite room in the house!!!

Ruben and his team are true, top notch professionals. I could not be happier with how they took care of our project and family. They accommodated our shifting schedule due to product delays from third parties and helped us get our perfect bathroom. I look forward to working with this team again on our future projects. The project included removing a wall to expand the bathroom and upgrading a single vanity to a double. The shower was completely updated with a larger drop-in tub and new fixtures. In addition to the new tile in the shower, Ruben and the team installed a new tile floor throughout the bathroom and adjoining laundry room. Plus Ruben identified some potential rot in the subfloor and helped us decide whether to replace it (which we did). Again, we are very happy with this work and quality even nearly a year later.

The project manager responded quickly to our request for an estimate. The workers came days after our approval of the estimate to install new insulation and drywall that were removed previously due to water damage. They also painted the walls after installation. The project manager also looked for matching trims and moldings to replace missing sections - we really appreciate this effort. We are happy with the result of their work. Our walls look as good as before.

Two Brothers Handymen enlarged a single closet door to a double door. I have an antique house and it was a huge job which required removing plaster walls, patching antique pine floors and matching original casing and baseboards. They took the trouble of carefully removing and reusing materials where possible. The job they did was absolutely superb and it looks like an original part of the house. Beyond that, they were highly responsive, reasonably priced, cleaned the job site thoroughly after each day, and were really, really nice guys. Highly recommend with no reservations!

Rubén and his team did an excellent job at remodeling our bathroom. They were incredibly professional, respectful of us as customers of course, of the other people working in our building, and our neighbors (we live in a co-operative). Rubén was honest with us from the start, which was refreshing and made it easy to hire his company to do the job. He proved that we made the right choice in hiring him as he and Nancy were incredibly patient in dealing with the paperwork/requirements from our building, which took much longer than expected, costing them time. The only thing I'd note in terms of responsiveness is that the paperwork from their end took more time than I expected at the start, but once we had a date for them to begin, they were great. One of the best experiences! We had a few estimates and Ruben’s came in at a fair price. His passion for his work and customer satisfaction was outstanding. He is a genuine and honest person, which is hard to find these days. We had some water damage on a paneled basement wall and discussed options. We decided to replace the whole wall, treat for any mold, insulate and drywall. We also added recessed lighting to the job, and then finally painting the rooms and ceiling. His crew was polite and arrived each day on time. They put in a full days work and cleaned up to make the space livable as they left for the day. They completed the job on time. On the last day, they were diligently sweeping the hallway, front step and driveway and ensuring nothing was left behind. Ruben and Nancy (office manager) were a great team and would hire again.

Ruben and his team were fantastic. We hired them to repair/skim-coat and paint our beat-up plaster walls/ceilings/trim in 3 rooms. They were on the job within two days after we agreed to hire them, and proceeded to show up early every morning (including over the weekend) and work all day, including daily clean up. They actually finished ahead of schedule. Ruben was very professional and responsive throughout, and the end product looks great. The price was not the cheapest bid we got, but was certainly reasonable and well worth it. We will definitely hire them again for future projects!

Nancy and Ruben were friendly and professional. Everything was done timely and looks like it was done right. They patched, sanded, and painted all my walls. They also repaired water damaged flooring/trim. As a single woman, it seems contractors are often trying to take advantage. Ruben treated me with respect and provided a fair price. Bathroom remodel. The job involved partially gutting a 9 x 8 foot space, replacing some pipe, insulating the exterior wall, installing drywall, tiling the floor and walls, installing new fixtures (tub, toilet, vanity, light, grab bar, curtain rod, and fan), replacing molding, and painting. Having Two Brothers remodel my second bathroom was the best experience I’ve had with any home improvement project I’ve undertaken. First of all, Ruben Euceda, the owner, listened to me. I pointed out problems in the layout of the tile in my first bathroom, and he avoided them all in laying the tile in the second bath. It looks wonderful. He always explained what he intended to do, asked for my input, and accommodated me when it was possible or told me why it wasn’t. If he overlooked a detail or made some miscalculation, he informed me and fixed the problem. He was polite and good-natured, with me and his employees; everyone involved seemed to like one another, making for a pleasant work environment. Ruben showed exceptional attentiveness, responsiveness, integrity, and overall professionalism in dealing with me. I’m very happy with the quality of the work, and I would hire him for any appropriate future project. Nancy, the office manager, was responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout.

Remodeled a basement workroom - 16' x 15.' They insulated, framed and installed drywall, tiled the floor, installed a large closet, shelving unit, recessed lights. Room looks fantastic. Will hire again.

Ruben and his team provided necessary upgrades to an early 1960s home that we just purchased. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and flexible. Within two days Ruben oversaw the installation of numerous in-ceiling fixtures, electrical repairs, and was prepared to do more work as needed. Following their work, Ruben and his team cleaned the work area thoroughly. We were very pleased with their results and would call them again for future work.

Two Brothers Handyman were responsive to my request, did a great job, and I couldn't be more please with the new look of our house. The original time estimate to complete the job was more than my budget, so we initially compromised and had them do the second store windows only. When they were able to complete the 4 windows much faster then expected I had them install the shutters on the first store windows and it all came within my budget. All done in 95 degree weather! Fast, courteous, professional; would definitely hire again for our future projects.

Ruben and his team were extremely courteous, hard-working and reliable. They did three projects for us in a 1980-build SFH house we just purchased in Vienna, VA. One was a complete remodel of our Master Bathroom on the 2nd Floor. The second was a remodel of the old brick & brass fireplace in the family room, and finally the creation of a new room-wide step down between the kitchen and the family room giving the entire area an open appearance. The bathroom was originally an 80's style monstrosity with green marble, shiny brass fixtures and a huge black jacuzzi - we changed that to a clean look with grey slate, some moroccan tiling in the shower area and a white soaking tub. The fireplace was re-faced with stacked stone to the ceiling, creating space for shelving and a TV mounting area in the middle. Looks great now and is highly functional. The step just ties the two rooms together for a clean uncluttered look. Ruben is a very friendly person and a great listener who puts his clients interests first. He discussed the projects in detail with me and offered his suggestions when asked. He takes a personal interest in making sure things are done in the right way and communicates regularly with his customer. He is also very knolwedgeable about his trade-craft. At the end he also repainted the hallway, stairwell and the room walls to have a nice finish. My wife and I are very happy about the end-result, we have a lovely home. The only thing I wished is if the project had been concluded a bit earlier on time, but I know that the vast vast majority of projects go over the schedule. I would recommend Ruben, Nancy & his team at Two Bros without any hesitation.

I hired Two Brothers Handyman and Home Improvement Service to help me out with (2) very separate projects. 1. A much needed upgrade of my Master Bathroom 2. Rebuild my deck out back My bathroom that was tolerable but like the ugly duckling is now beautiful (new paint, custom shower, vanity, tile floor, and new fixtures) and I owe it all to Ruben and his team for their endless knowledge, hard work and always patient with me attitude. As for my backyard deck, between the rot and the damaging storms, I hated to even look out in my backyard anymore but now it is like an oasis. I have a beautiful deck, I am getting a new grill, and new patio furniture. Thank you again to Ruben and his team for breathing life back into my home.
