We met with several contractors regarding our kitchen and full bathroom renovation. Joe was the most impressive to us from the very start, as he is incredibly knowledgeable and a very good communicator. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to hire him and his team for our relatively large project. Joe is a true craftsman that takes pride in the work that his team provides to his clients. His team works extremely hard, are always polite and respectful, and clean-up every night before they leave. Even when it came to making some changes to our original plans or adding additional work, Joe was so accommodating and we could tell his number one priority was that we were happy with the work they provided. Some contractors are only interested in getting the job done but Joe and his team take full pride in their finished work product. UNO’s office staff person, Silvina is also always a delight and very responsive. If we could give them 6 stars, we would! We hired UNO Group to remodel our entire house, both inside and outside, including roofing, siding, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, basement renovation, painting, electrical work, and masonry for the patio, walkways, and driveway. I’m writing this review one year after the project was completed, and I’m pleased to say that my wife and I are fully satisfied. We haven’t encountered any issues since the work was done. Uno did a medium size project for us - full master bathroom renovation, powder room refresh, kitchen facelift and whole house paint. Joe and his team were extremely easy to work with especially not living close to the house at all. The workmanship is very good and efficient. Joe gave a timeline and he stuck to that timeline. There's a lot of attention to detail and Joe is really good helping you create that vision as well. I would definitely recommend them to others as well as use them for future projects.

We worked with Joe and the Uno team to do a whole house interior & exterior renovation in 2023. The experience we had working with Uno has been fantastic and would recommend them to anyone looking for home renovations! Uno is the total package! Great quality on the work done, really good communication, on-budget, amazing support team and very timely in getting things done. From the beginning, it was very easy to communicate with Joe and get quick responses on putting a formal proposal together. Upon approval the Uno team helped us with obtaining the necessary permits for construction and even helped connect us with architects and designers. Throughout the renovation, Joe and Silvina did a great job on keeping us posted on progress as well as letting us know when items we supplied will be needed by. As issues came up, Joe did a great job on quickly bringing them to our attention so we can get them addressed quickly. This helped us keep the project on-time and maintain scope. From the plumbing to electrical, tile work and everything in between the quality of the work done by Uno was top-notch and built to last. They were even great at design touches. We sent them inspiration pictures of rooms and design touches and they were able to execute them even better than what was in the picture. Even after the project was complete, as small repairs were needed, Uno was very responsive to help them get it done. We are very pleased with how the project turned out. What can we say, the results speak for themselves. :) We had a wonderful experience working with Joe and his entire team at Uno Group Home Improvements. The Uno team did an extensive twelve-week renovation project this summer for us. The house looks like new. They were on schedule, on budget (!), with only two minor items on the punch list at the end of the project, which were fixed in a few hours. The team showed up every day (!) on time and left the work areas clean at night. Professional, reliable, friendly, and highly skilled craftsmen. We could not be happier and recommend the Uno group without any hesitation.

We used Uno for a house "refresh" we have been wanting to do for years. We met with a few different contractors, but none compared to Joe and his team at Uno. Joe was incredibly patient coming to our house numerous times before we officially signed to answer our many (ok, many many) questions and take us through each step. When it was time to start, Joe's crew showed up and they were outstanding. They took so much time to prep before they lifted a paint brush or took out one piece of tile. Starting the process for a major two bedroom, one bathroom home addition and kitchen extension and renovation is a commitment. There are a lot of decisions to make. In my opinion, the biggest decision that we had to make was who our contractor would be….would he/she have the right price? Have great ideas? And most importantly, be someone that we wanted to have a whole lot of interaction with. Well, Joe checked ALL of the boxes! From the moment we met him, he was a pleasure. He talked about our blueprints as if he knew them like the back of his hand, with creative ideas already up his sleeve before we ever even hired him. His personality just clicked with ours and we knew he was the right man for the job. We made sure to lock him in right away! Then the job started and he never failed to impress us. He and his men worked HARD! Even his subcontractors had an outstanding work ethic. They all had such respect for Joe that they never wanted to disappoint him. They showed up and worked until they reached their goal each and every day. If there was a deadline that Joe wanted them to meet they would work on Sundays, too! We always took notice of the little things that made Joe and his team special. When we would come to check out the progress (usually with our two very young children with us) they would immediately bring any loud noises down and go out of their way to make sure that everything was safe for us. If we wanted to meet to discuss something with Joe, he always made himself available. He also made such impressive design decisions for us (as people who were clueless about a lot of options that we had related to design, we turned to his opinion on plenty of occasions). Joe’s attention to detail went unnoticed. He did not accept any imperfection. He kept the jobsite tidy, and finished the job in less time than we ever thought possible. Needless to say, we are very happy that we chose UnoGroup to make our forever home a reality. Joe will always be a special part of our family and home and we will forever recommend him to friends and family in the area.

I have worked with many contractors over the years. I honestly could only recommend one......Uno Group. Every member of Joe's team was kind and respectful at all times, and not an easy task when meeting the demands of a customer/client. The quality and level of their work is impeccable. We recently had 2 full bathroom renovations completed by Joe and his team and Uno Group. The team is very professional, do fantastic work, and worked extremely hard to get the job done on-time and on-budget. The REAL kicker here (which seems impossible to find these days), is their responsiveness. So many contractors are disorganized and disappear throughout the project - not Uno. Just completed a mini facelift on my kitchen: painted cabinets, new countertops, under cabinet lighting and a new backsplash. Joe is knowledgeable as he has done a lot of kitchen facelifts! He gets back to you immediately - no waiting for days to hear back from him, and he’s easy to work with. Thanks to houz for taking request and initiating the process we were contacted by uno grp and scheduled a visit. Joe promised a quote in 2 days and now its been more than a month. We received nothing. We tried calling them they assured they are working but again no news and we call they dont pick phone. We are now thinking if they are worth a trust .. with our house money and quality of work.. this is very unprofessional.

We selected UnoGroup to renovate an outdated bathroom to a shower when my father decided to move in. We were a bit pressed for time. We were impressed with Joe when he came for the quotation, he had great ideas to transform the space. One of the items he suggested was to tile the ceiling above the shower -I thought really? And I am so glad we did! His team is filled with professionals and he always assigned the right person from his team to each task. I remember him saying you don't have the painter tile, and visa versa. All I can say is he is so right and we are in awe - the bathroom is perfect! We are looking forward to doing future projects with Joe and his team.

We hired the UNO Group to paint our existing kitchen cabinets, remove & install a new kitchen backsplash, install shelving in our walk in pantry and install rollouts in an existing cabinet. We are absolutely THRILLED with the finished product! Joe and his team have very good attention to detail and made sure that our kitchen looked exactly the way we wanted. In addition to what we originally set out to do, Joe’s team took on some additional work related to electrical and plumbing which simplified the overall project since we didn’t need to find/coordinate with additional contractors. Joe was the first person to give me an estimate on remodeling my kitchen. He was the most professional, timely, organized and likeable of the 8 estimates I received. He was down to earth and honest from day 1. I knew he was the one I wanted to complete our work. We were amazed by how clean our home was left at the end of each day of construction - the work area was vacuumed and all tools and equipment were picked up and left neatly stacked for the next day. Fabio did most of the work and he was "Fabio-ulous" (as we told him). He listened to my list of questions every morning and answered each one and explained what he was going to do. Joe also has an incredible attention to detail and wanted us to be pleased with everything. He had great ideas that really enhanced the final results. I would never have imagined my kitchen could be so spacious and look so nice. We are looking forward to having Joe do our bathrooms next. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team - you won't find a more honest, dependable and talented team around this area.

I had an old late 70's/early 80's kitchen that was in dire need of a total redo. I've lived in my home for 16yrs and have dealt with many service professionals in our area throughout the years. Hands down, Uno Group is the best! I can't say enough good things about them. Each and everyone at this company is completely professional, great communicators and did outstanding work with great skill, forethought and talent. All with a smile and a good of humor. I'm not a big review writer, but wanted to share my feedback since finding the right contractor can be a huge headache, especially when you are in the process of moving so hopefully this helps others. Joe from Uno Group is likely the most honest and fair contractor I have ever come across. He is straight forward, he works with your budget, and he doesn't just write down what you want, he gives input, design ideas, really impressive stuff that makes the process so much easier especially for someone like me that doesn't have an eye for things. My house looks amazing! I have had so many compliments from neighbors, strangers and friends who drove by. Joe and his team had amazing attention to detail. You would think its a brand new house, just by a new paint job! Updating all of the brown made a world of difference.

I chose Uno Group based on a recommendation for kitchen cabinet refinishing. I couldn't have been more pleased with the level of professionalism and the quality of the work. I hired Uno Group to paint the exterior of my home. The job entailed power washing the natural cedar shakes and trim, carpentry work to repair/replace trim, priming and painting the trim and staining the shakes- all with oil based paint and stain. It was an extensive job which took nearly 4 weeks of non-stop work since the weather was dry.. Joe and his crew are exceptionally professional, nice,hard-working and detail oriented. Joe and team from Uno Group did a fantastic job for us. We recently finished a fairly major remodel and addition to our home in Watchung. Based on recommendation from our general contractor we hired Uno for interior painting. He used top quality materials and spent the extra time to make sure the quality is right. Based on our experience with the interior, we then hired Uno to also refinish and repaint the exterior of our house (combination of stucco and wood trim). There were several pieces of rotting trim and the team expertly decided when to replace and what could be salvaged. Joe's attention to detail and professionalism is really special. Joe recently helped us with a small project to replace a pedestal sink, toilet, and tile floor in our powder room. He was very prompt to reply to our request for an estimate which was very fair and accommodated our tight schedule requirements beautifully. They completed the work in a very short period of time and followed up immediately with requests to remedy a couple of issues. The UnoGroup recently refinished my deck, and the result was plainly, beyond expectations. Their attention to detail was evident at every stage of the process. The cleaning of the deck was thorough and meticulous. The hand sanding and application of the finish, several days later, was equally comprehensive and detailed. They very importantly knew the requirements of the product they used to finish the deck, and they were scrupulous in its application. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer and I recommend them without hesitation. I will definitely use the UnoGroup again.

I hired uno painting to fix a terrible job our previous painters did. Joe's team did an exceptional job! They were very clean, meticulous and very respectful. The paint job they did was oustanding!! He has a group of hardworking, talented, organized, and clean guys working for him. You wouldn't even know there were painters in my house because they cleaned up and put everything away each night before they left. They taped off the room they were working in so that dust would not travel throughout the house . We loved the job they did so much that we have hired them to do more projects around the house. We will be using them for all our painting needs in the future and highly recommend them to anyone!

We could not be happier with Joe and the entire Uno crew. The exterior of our house needed to be painted. Uno spent (literally) 5 days simply prepping the house (and it's not a huge house), then they repaired and replaced all the rotted wood in the eaves, doorways, and windowsills. The guys pointed out wood rot and damage on the second story of the house that I never even noticed. Everything was repaired, including missing shingles and rotted shingles. During the job, we realized that our small deck needed to be replaced. It was done beautifully and expertly by Uno's carpenters. I can not recommend Joe and the Uno crew enough.
