Vermont Construction is a Vermont based, privately owned business providing roofing services in Vermont. Our mission is to provide customers access to all home building and maintenance services through one contractor. The company is fully insured, and our craftsmen are trained and incentivized to produce the highest quality work. Services include everything from early conception of a new project, to emergency repair services. For any trades that we do not directly perform, we partner with local and regional subcontractors to help us put together complete packages. We value the the safety of our employees and the integrity of our work and we know that to create the best possible outcomes requires clear communication, detailed planning and a thorough understanding of our customer’s goals and values. Had a leak in my roof and the project included damage to 2 rooms inside plus the roof repair. They never fixed the roof but continued with the inside repair. I Requested to fix the roof leak and they never went into the attic to inspect and never contacted me to repair. Sent me an invoice and the roof still leaking.

Dana came out to the house in early March. We discussed my interest in building out a patio as well as getting an estimate for a 3-season porch. He quoted numbers off the top of his head - $10,000 for a stone patio, and $80,000 for a 3-season porch. He then offered to tour around the home for other potential projects. After that home visit, no follow up for 3 weeks. I emailed to ask, as this was not a priority, and what kind of estimate he had on the project. Michelle emailed back simply to say again "you'd be looking at around $10,000" then sent me a terms and conditions. No mention of materials used, labor, time frame, et - nothing to indicate how this estimate came about. I emailed 2 more times to ask for these details with no replies since then. Unprofessional business, will never consider in the future.

David and his team helped us to renovate our house. We wanted a brighter and more contemporary look. They produced a space we could not be happier with. They’re organized, knowledgeable, thorough and easy to work with. Also, they’re fun and really nice. I recommend them without reservation

Just...awful. inexperienced. Unethical. Just a mess. They spent a ton of money on fancy marketing for their vans and trailers but evidently spent no money on hiring competent workers or even learning anything about the construction industry themselves. Read their website, neither of the guys in charge of this outfit have any professional construction experience at all. If you want to know what this company is really about find any of the residential clients they had in summer 2019 and get the real story. It won't be hard to find, there were at least three of them with exactly the same horrendous experience. Avoid this outfit at all costs.

Vt construction worked alongside our crew for months and performed many finish and rough carpentry projects, all with great skill and attention. Would highly reccomend them for a wide range of construction projects. Very professional.

Dana and Dave are hands on managers and excellent problem solvers I could not be more pleased with their skills, timeliness, updated communications, and responsiveness The crew(s) were respectful and courteous.
