Rich Mortensen of Luxe Design Build is no ordinary contractor. Rich has what I would describe as the "golden skill set" for a contractor. He is experienced, committed and organized. Experience: He knows how to build a house and schedule a job. He is very realistic from the beginning, including the bidding process. He has a loyal team of sub-contractors and his jobs are fluid and expedient. Commitment: Rich definitely has the perfect temperament to be your advocate. He helps you to make decisions to keep your job on time and on budget. He never settles for "good enough" on any task. Organized: Rich is a master scheduler. He follows the plans and listens to your goals regarding timeframe and budget. He is an exceptional contractor and an overall great guy. I would highly recommend him for your next job.

Rich of Luxe Design was highly recommended by my interior designer and he exceeded our expectations. We were on a tight timeline, we had approximately 3 months to move into our house before my baby came. Rich made sure to complete the work to meet our tight timeline and stayed within budget. He worked well with our designer, never involving us with any issues, just worked things out with our designer. We were able to go out of the country for 3 weeks without a concern that things would not remain on schedule. The process was surprisingly stress-free. We did an extensive remodel of our 4,200 square foot house, which included our family, living, and dining rooms, our master bedrooms, a full renovation of two bathrooms, and refinishing the hardwood floors. Rich and his team did a beautiful job. We intend to hire Rich again when we remodel the remainder of the house.

We hired Rich to completely remodel our 2 story guesthouse. We had a tight deadline, and not only did he finish it on tie as promised, it exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with his skill and professionalism. The quality of work is the best we have experienced. Rich was excellent at getting back to us quickly with any questions we had, and during the job made sure we were completely satisfied with the work. He had many great suggestions for us and was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure something was done the best way possible. We look so forward to working with Luxe Design Build for our next project!

We just completed our kitchen renovation and i could not wait to write a review. rich and charis were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire job. they were always very responsive. never once did i feel like i had to chase my contractor for information or details. every single one of their sub contractors were professional and polite and were true craftsman. rich provided a schedule and a budget at the outset of the project and didn't stray from it at all. i had alot of fear about doing such a major renovation while still living in our house, after hearing horror stories from friends about how unhappy they were with their contractor and the process. but after going through it with rich and charis i know its possible to have a great experience with a major renovation. they gave me my dream kitchen. i would recommend highly recommend them to anyone that is considering a renovation.

Rich was awesome to work with! His design ideas are second to none! He is easy to work with and always available. He finishes projects in the timeline agreed to and always does top notch work! We recently completed a major renovation of our master bathroom. Working with Rich and Luxe Design was a pleasure. Rich does exceptional and outstanding work. He is flexible, shows great attention to detail, utilizes excellent craftspeople and is always readily accessible, if not on-site. Our finished bathroom far exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier with it.

Rich is knowledgable and dependable. If he doesn't know the answer, he admits it and finds it. He met deadlines, cleaned up after the work was done each day, and stuck to budget.
