Weatherby Renovations

We hired Weaterby Renovations to build a detached 2 car garage. We talked to several contractors and chose Stephen because of his professionalism, knowledge and honesty. He and his team did an excellent job. We could not be more pleased, and would recommend, and use Weatherby Renovations again.

We renovated a townhouse in Virginia Highlands and used Weatherby Renovations. I interviewed several contractors and found Stephen the most through and professional. We set a budget and he stayed within that budget. He and his team did an excellent job and finished on schedule. We live out of state and had never done a remote renovation. We could not have been more pleased with the process and the outcome.

We did a major renovation project at our home. We interviewed a number of contractors and chose Weatherby Renovations because we were very impressed with Stephen's knowledge and professionalism. We had a budget and Stephen worked with us to help us achieve what we wanted. Our project included an addition to and complete gutting/remodel of the kitchen. Walls were also removed to open the kitchen to the living area. Hardwood floors were installed in kitchen, living, dining, half-bath and hall areas. Two bathrooms were refreshed. One with new floor tile and paint and one with new vanity, toilet and wood flooring. In the den, a built in desk and wall of mirrors were removed. The walls and built-in bookcase were then painted. A loft area was enclosed to make an additional bedroom on the second floor. Carpet was removed from the stairs. The oak treads were then stained & finished to match the new wood floors and new wrought iron balusters were also installed. We were living in the home during the renovations. Stephen has a great crew of guys, who work hard. We were appreciative of their respect for our living space during the renovation process. Stephen provided us with his cell phone number and always answered our calls. We appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism throughout the 2-1/2 month project. Things went smoothly for the most part. We did encounter a problem with the finish of the wood floors. Stephen did not try to "sell" us. He advocated for us with the flooring contractor. Corrections were made and we are very happy with our wood floor. At then end of the project Stephen's guys discovered a leak at the back door. Instead of caulking it and taking the "wait and see" approach, they tackled it head on and ultimately replaced the door and seal. These things ended up pushing the project past the projected deadline, but they were things that were out of everyone's control. They were also a testament to the quality workmanship and care that Stephen and the guys of Weatherby Renovations take in their work. We are loving our new kitchen and all the other improvements that were made to our home during this project. We have recommended Weatherby Renovations to our friends and neighbors and would use them again.

Weatherby Renovations is one of the most trustworthy companies out there. He's honest, fair, and his team is incredible at what they do. I would highly recommend them for your renovation or construction project. OH and he's been on HGTV's Elbow Room with Chip Wade.

The work was done in a professional manner. They were on time and kept us informed through the process. I would highly recommend them!
