4 month upstairs renovation and throughout the whole process Rob was always available when needed.
Completed in a timely manner within budget.
Suppliers - good quality product, service and delivery
Contractors - good craftsmanship and very professional.
Felt confident with the different tradespeople that the company contracts.
Took good care of our house, always cleaned up after themselves, and we had a pet that they kept an eye on.

Woodcrafters took on a complete renovation of our the house in 4 distinct phases i) master bedroom and bathroom, ii)basement, iii) kitchen and dining room, and finally a garage rebuild - We have worked with him on this between 2005 and 2013
The work was complex, including a number of unforeseen complexities (as always happens), scope changes (initiated by me) and careful cost control.
Our experience with Rob in Phase 1 made it an easy decision to continue the work with him throughout. His strengths are good communication, an excellent working relationship with sub trades - he keeps good people around him - many of the same people working on the initial 2005 reno were still working with Rob in 2013. This says a lot about his ability to find and retain good craftspeople.
Highly recommended

We hired WoodCrafters Group Ltd to do a full basement renovation to our 50 year old bungalow. Prior to demolition day, our Contractor, Robert Korsten, was here to personally take care of the protective coverings to our entry way and stairway into the basement. Our basement was completely gutted down to the studs. The design was created after many hours of consultation with Robert; each concern we had was addressed and new additional ideas for design were incorporated. Robert was very particular about the work and service the tradespeople were providing - spending a lot of time here to check and inspect the work, and some days to do part of the work himself. We are now enjoying an amazing, inviting, warm, cozy basement complete with large Media Room (loving the potlights on dimmers), a walk in storage room, a second storage area under our stairs, a laundry room, a Rec Room sporting my husband's pool table and bar, a BEAUTIFUL spa bathroom with large steam shower (seating for 2) and a bedroom with large west-facing window for our teenager daughter. We are very pleased with our Woodcrafter's Reno and have passed this name along to family and friends. Our cousin still enjoys her Woodcrafter's Reno bunglalow as well. 2 Thumbs UP!!

Rob Korston at Woodcrafters Group is a true professional with a clear passion for renovating. We renovated our entire house, in two stages, and Rob completed both projects. He was with us during the planning stage too, where he helped us open our minds up to possibilities that we hadn't considered before. His experience helped us see beyond the existing walls and we came up with a final design that was far better than the original.
Rob is organised and has a clear process that he works by. He expects the same from his trades. He had a calendar laid out for us before the project began, and was was able to complete the project on time. We saw daily, weekly and monthly progress, with very little downtime. We also had regular progress meetings with Rob, so we were constantly up to date.
Rob is focused on quality work, and hires sub trades that are like-minded. All of the work was completed professionally, with very few problems. We had some interesting, custom cabinetry installed in the kitchen, presenting some unique challenges that neither the cabinet maker nor Rob had ever experienced before. They came up with a creative solution that was highly functional and elegant. We still show this feature off to anyone who visits our house for the first time.
We completely gutted our main floor and replaced all doors, windows, flooring, walls, cabinets and appliances. This work was completed in the fall of 2007, and seven years later the house is as good as new. We have had the cabinet maker and the window guy back once each for warranty work, that was completed without incident. There have been no problems to note. It is a direct result of the quality of work done by Rob and his trades.
Renovating can be stressful, I can't imagine doing it without a pro like Rob. We have recommended him to our friends and neighbors who have had similarly great experiences. If we ever do it again, Woodcrafters Group will be our contractor.

Over the last 6 years, we have had the great pleasure of working with Woodcrafters Group on 3 of our home renovations. They have demolished a large sunken bar and rebuilt , involving a lot of millworker and cabinetry. In 2011, they undertook a complete upper floor addition, including framing, structural work, new roof, and windows, all trades involved exterior and interior. And lastly in 2013, they demolished and rebuilt a full new front porch and driveway. On all our projects we have found them to be 100 % professional, the projects came in on budget and on time and the trades were reliable , helpful and friendly. We have recommended them, and would use them again with no hesitatation.
