“After deciding to expand and remodel our kitchen, we were stuck in a holding pattern. No novice to the business of renovation, I was understandably wary and didn’t know how to go about finding a reputable contractor, or even if we could accomplish our goals within our budget. In our case, there was a structural issue that had to be dealt with and resolved quickly. Lindsay was immediately on top of it, marshaling the team, including the architect and contractor, to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. Now I have a kitchen I love. “Cindy designed my new kitchen, which is really beautiful. She worked with me, drawing plans multiple times until she made a change to the footprint that solved all the problems and was absolutely right. Since stock cabinets would not fit in the plan, we went custom, and she steered me to an excellent company and oversaw all communications with them. She also steered me to a local stone company for countertops that was excellent and reasonably priced. Cindy knew that I was doing a lot of research and searching myself and never gave me the feeling that she should be doing it or would do a better job. She was delightful to work with in every possible way, and very responsive when I consulted her opinion about anything. She has excellent ideas but never pushes them. She has 30 years of experience designing kitchens and baths, so she really knows her stuff.”

“When my husband and I started the idea of renovating our 1944 kitchen that had built in cabinets and no space for anything, we had no idea of where to start. We contacted Hearth, Cabinets and More, Ltd. after seeing advertisements and we were put in touch with Bruce. We were totally blown away! Bruce came to our house and measured and sat and talked to us about what we wanted in our kitchen, what kind of budget we wanted to stick with and what would make it functional for us. He came up with ideas that we never would've come up and we knew then that this was then the right decision and we were so glad that we had Bruce to help us. We were so excited to get the project started and I was beyond ready to see the old kitchen go. Our cabinets were delivered, it seemed in no time and today, our old 1944 kitchen is BEAUTIFUL and updated to a 2016 one that we absolutely LOVE! I only wish we had done it sooner! “I only gave 5 Stars because I couldn't give 10. My husband and I hired Caves Kitchens for a complete kitchen remodeling job. Allison Caves, a certified kitchen planner, came to our home and asked all sorts of questions such as "How tall are you?, Are you left or right-handed?, What do you love/hate about your current kitchen?, etc." Allison designed a custom kitchen that exceeded our every expectation. Jeffrey Caves, the Cabinetmaker, meticulously selected and cured the wood that would result in the highest quality cabinetry I have ever seen, bar none. I would highly recommend Caves Kitchens for custom cabinetry. Caves also offers a high-quality semi-custom line, which was very nice, but once we saw Jeffrey's work, we opted to go completely custom.”

“Amazing ability to listen to our likes/dislikes and put together a doable project. We did a complete remodel of the kitchen, bath and dining area - to the exterior walls, ceiling and floors. We stopped at the "Big Box Stores" and weren't happy with their knowledge and ability to vision a solution. Building an addition was not an option yet Denna was able to present solutions for our wants: tile walk-in shower with glass door, oversize fridge, new cabinets with soft close features and quality products. We don't even have to seal our tile grout. She worked well with the contractors, was responsive to our questions and fixed any small issue immediately. We wouldn't change one thing!!!!!”

“Mr. Long took an old 1830s bank barn and made it into our home. The result is a 3,500 sq ft home that overlooks Seneca Lake in the New York State Finger Lakes region. Dan used many windows in his plan and almost every room has a view of the lake. Dan is an innovative and dynamic architect. He has a very wonderful personal style that brought our needs and desires to the forefront in his architectural plans. One could not help to notice that he is very versed in the latest building methods and materials. He does very well with cost estimates and worked with with us to provide varied courses of action so we might be better informed as to our options. Overall, our observation is that Dan Long is a true professional who treats each client and project as special no matter how big or small the job. I highly recommend Dan Long to any prospective client.”
