“Mike designed a custom wall of kitchen cabinetry for me and then subsequently designed and built an entire home office. Both jobs produced outstanding results. Mark's work is of amazing quality with attention to each and every detail. When design issues came up, mark was always able to offer a creative solution. He was entirely professional and a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled artisan.”

“Top contractor in New York! Worth every penny and more which is what it cost. I got a stunning new kitchen with no hassle. They took care of everything from beginning to end. All the staff I dealt with were very pleasant and efficient. If I were to review Top10renovation staff one by one I think I would give them all 5 stars. The work was professional and neat. Everything as well coordinated we did nor have to wait a week between the different contractors, they all somehow smoothly coordinated things and everything fell into place. I would definitely use them again.”

Carpentry Unlimited, Inc.

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsAugust 14, 2014
“We were introduced to carpentry unlimited after hurricane sandy for a garage rebuild. We had been working with another builder for a while, but we were stalled out in the construction process due to permits, etc. We decided to call other local builders to try and get the rebuild done ASAP before the winter. Doug and Bruce were able to quickly get the project up and running. Carpentry unlimited has been in business for many years and therefore is known in the area and this fact made the entire building process so much easier for us. They knew who to call and when, which was key to getting the rebuild approved. The price was fair and their workers are efficient and neat and do great work. They were flexible with making some changes as the construction was taking place and were in constant contact with us regarding updates in deliveries of supplies. Our garage came out great and they are now working on updates on the rest of our house including windows and siding, and have already completed a great new front porch for us. Recommend them highly!”

“We had a custom arched door with glass installed in our dining room and built in bookcases and oak fireplace mantle in our family room. Kris did a fantastic job -- everyone who sees the door comments that it makes the room. The bookcases and mantle add style and function to the family room. Kris came, measured and installed efficiently and neatly. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend him. He is a true craftsman.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsFebruary 9, 2015
“Kieran, the proprietor of End Grain, is a true craftsman that takes immense pride in his work. I am lucky that he did most of the trim in my home (as well as some very nice millwork) and highly recommend his work. I particularly appreciate his attention to detail and knowledge of how to create an end product that will last and continue to look great for years. He also is a pleasure to work with.”
Ernest J. Genovese & Son Llc.
Local Carpenters in Georgetown
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 2, 2014
“Rich Genovese -- the son who continues the family business -- is always the first guy we reach out to when there's a house job to do. He's gut renovated a bathroom for us. He's completely rebuilt not one, but two porticos for us. He's repaired garage doors, porch decking, light electrical jobs, plumbing issues. He also built our chicken pen! What do we love about Rich? 1. He's really honest and reasonable. 2. He's eminently trustworthy. We give him a key to our house and know that he won't accidently lock the cats in the basement. 3. He's there for you in a pinch, with the shop vac. (Even when when there's no pinch, he finishes his work thoroughly, cleanly.) 4. He has many, many friends in construction and is a valuable referral machine for roofers, painters, electricians, plumbers, tapers, whatever you need. 5. He tolerates requests that might make his work harder, like when we say we want to reuse materials instead of buying new. Or we want to recreate historic crown molding. Finally, Rich has a great sense of humor. Nothing ever goes exactly as planned in house projects. It sure does help to have a partner who keeps the mood light and makes the process enjoyable.”
