Their glass doors are fabulous looking and their customer service is the absolute best. I had a mysterious leak which turned out to be NOT Glasscrafter's fault but they came when I called and identified the source of the leak. Contracter redid some grouting as GlassCrafter suggested and voila, no more leak. I was so impressed with GlassCrafter customer servce and decided to write this review.

I strongly advise avoiding this company's products. I had their Equalis glass tub door professionally installed in a guest bathroom where it got minimal use. After a bit more than a year, one of the glass door panels exploded (exploded!, not simply broke) while a family member was getting in the tub. It was extreme luck there were no major injuries. The representative from Glasscrafters exhibited no contrition over the situation and launched into a long lecture about the possible causes that weren't their fault. They also went on to say the door was a bit over a year old and, since naturally glass can break, they had no responsibility to replace the door. This company does not stand behind their products and obviously has no concern for customers.

Your product is exceptional! The gentleman who first came to the house and took all the measurements was right on. Unfortunately, the initial installers were lacking some parts for the initial installation. A crew came back (I recall it was the next day), they installed the shower door and adjoining glass panel; and not only does it look good, it is as functional as you could expect. My wife and I are thrilled as can be. We live in a very old house and the “new” shower door fits in perfect. In no way does it detract from the charm of “This OLd House”.

GLassCrafters installed my shower door and the job was fine. However, water started to leak out from the bottom of the door. We have called them 4 times to fix and they still have not responded. Lousy service. I would stay away from them for any work. Telephone records are available to support our claim.

Working with Glasscrafters has been a wonderful experience. They were patient and responsive to all of my questions in advance of my purchase of their acid etched glass shower door with the Enduro Shield Coating. Glasscrafters timely measured my shower stall for the new door. Their installers were prompt, professional and cleaned up after the installation, removing the Kohler doors I was so unhappy with. I love my new Glasscrafter doors! They look spectacular, and squeegee so nicely! For a professional and honest company, choose Glasscrafters!

We hadn't used GlassCrafters for the installation of two new showers as part of our apartment renovation. Our GC said he's done a million showers and that it's not a big deal, so he would do the shower installation. Big mistake. Huge. Both showers leaked, but my GC said "no problem" and that he could just replace the gaskets and everything would be okay. NOT. I then spoke with my Super and he said he had a handyman who's expert with things like leaky showers. He came but also wasn't able to help. Finally I reached out to an architect friend who I should have consulted from the start. He told me that GlassCrafters were the pro's in the field and that's who I should call. At first GlassCrafters was hesitent to get involved with someone else's mistakes, but after explaining how we ended up with floods on our floors whenever we took even a quick five minute shower, they stepped up and said they would come an inspect. What pros! They fixed the problem with both showers that no one else seemed to be able to figure out. We can't speak highly enough about GlassCrafters. Really know what they're doing, and, best part -- we were so desperate would have paid anything, but they were so reasonable it really made me sorry I hadn't called them first for the installation.

In the course of doing a whole house renovation, we went to our local, upscale, plumbing supply/fixture showroom to inquire about a glass enclosure for our new marble master shower. After looking at samples in the showroom, we selected our glass and hardware. The showroom uses Glasscrafters as the fabricator/installer. Within the first year, we noticed mold growing around the bottom of the glass inside the silicone seal where the glass meets the marble. We also experienced the silicone strip on the bottom of the door tearing away. Most notably, the door and the panel to which it is attached shake in a disturbing way. The panel to which the door is attached is secured to the wall with only one bracket. We have called in a local, highly regarded, glass fabricator and installer. They have told us that Glasscrafters should have installed AT MINIMUM THREE BRACKETS on the panel attached to the hinge side of the 1/2 inch thick door and they should never have put a metal channel along the bottom of the stationary panels. These panels should have been attached directly to the marble with a silicone bead. We are very disappointed in the quality of the installation which appears to have been done with an eye towards cutting costs rather than maintaining the highest standard of quality.

They have nice products - good looking/well made shower doors, but are quite pricey and their install/service staff are shockingly unprofessional, though they have a good warranty policy they stand by - so mixed... If you can find this quality at same/lesser price elsewhere, do it 200%. Each time we needed to schedule initial measure, install and service - it took 2-7+ days to get a call back, difficult to schedule and the guy showed up 90+min late to appt - even complained to manager once, who did not give a s$%t - he was so rude! The initial install was lacking so had to get it re-serviced by the same guy (these are freelance installers who don't care about showing up on time), and then re-serviced again 6 months later.... I'd say for quality of install work + unprofessional tardiness, go elsewhere. They also charge an exorbitant add-on to install/deliver outside of NJ.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I spoke to our GeneraI Manager as well as looked through our records to get an understanding of the whole issue here. I can tell you we do have GPS tracking on all of our company vehicles so we can keep track and record where all of our technicians are at any given moment and refer back to them on our system. So I referred back to your specific dates of services, whether it was the measure day, or deliver/ install date. As we do with all of our customers, you were given a range of time when we are scheduled to be there for your measure and delivery/install which is also kept on record here. I see that your measure time was scheduled between 9-10am. Our technician arrived at your home at 9:43am. The date of install you were given a time of arrival between 9-9:30am. The technician arrived at 8:51am. The other issue I'd like to address is our 90 minute late time arrival. There was a documented major car accident on the George Washington Bridge causing major delays, delaying arrival to your home and not neglect or any personal issue on our technician's side. A phone call was made to you to alert you to know what was happening and why. Our objective has always been to provide a remarkable customer service experience, superior quality products with top-notch, technicians which are the core of what matters to us here. Although you may feel not 100% happy with us according to your review just wanted to let you know we do value and respect your time and every one of our customer's time and do appreciate your business.
