Connie Cooper Designs

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 6, 2013
Connie Cooper is very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. We hired Connie to help us furnish our newly built home. There were many rooms to be done and Connie helped us get them completed. She was always respectful of our tastes and design concepts that we had for the space. Connie was also very accommodating to our schedules when we were making appointments. Budgets were important to Connie and made sure to come under or at budget. We were working on one room that needed draperies but we were not finding anything I liked that was in the budget. Connie worked tirelessly to find the perfect fabric for the right price. The draperies are awesome! We loved Connie Cooper Designs and we would highly recommend her to anyone.

Rachel (lead at Fountainhead, LLC) is a consummate professional who makes her clients feel like true partners in every sense of the word. She comes to the table full of ideas and a vision, but also creates a climate where the client feels comfortable articulating their needs, goals, and budget for a project. Over the past 2 1/2 years Rachel has helped me realize my dream for a lake house. While design is her main area of focus, she brings a multitude of other skills to the table. For example, she assisted with the selection of the lot for my home, weighed in on technology required for internet, sound, and security, and provided advice on effectively juggling contractors, subcontractors, architects, and others involved in the project, just to name a few. When it comes to design, Rachel is quite good at working within any budget. Have a big ticket item that seems out of reach? Rachel will find an affordable substitute. Best of all, Rachel has a keen eye and she is always attuned to how all aspects of a design concept need to come together. I am fairly confident that once my home is complete, it will be among the most elegant, distinctive, and welcoming properties on Lake Sinclair. This is largely due to Rachel's creative vision and expertise. I would highly recommend her services.

After moving into a new home that was larger than we've ever had, I needed a professional eye for sure. Sarah came highly recommended and I would certainly highly recommend her as well! She is so wonderfully easy to work with and is a true artist in her field of interior design! Whether taking items that you may already have or to purchase new ones, she makes it all work in your space. Sarah goes above and beyond for her clients and I appreciated her dependability ...she's there for you every step of the way! I am completely in love with all that she's done in our new home!

We hired Lori to design a home we want to build in Athens. We already had the lot and Lori's challenge was to design the house down to the last detail working with us who live 3,000 miles away! Not an easy task, but she was up for the challenge. With emails and teleconferencing, using ideas from Houzz, and her 3-D software to help us "walk through" the spaces, we're almost done - and we haven't yet set foot on the ground. I thought I knew precisely what I wanted, but didn't know how to execute the plans to get there. Lori had creative solutions and offered alternatives I hadn't even considered, many of which are now in the final plan. She's thorough, detail-oriented, patient with a client (me) who changes her mind at times and spent a great deal of time at the onset just getting to know us. When you're building your dream house from 3,000 miles away you'd better be comfortable with the architect you hired. We're VERY comfortable!

This was our first experience with hiring an Interior Designer so went into it with some level of uncertainty of outcomes, but we were extremely pleased with the results. Lisa transformed our family and living rooms in a very creative way, and did so with a clarity that showed experience and understanding of client needs. I was particular about having space, simplicity and including furniture and our own personal effects which she did beautifully. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking to make changes or need some professional help in making the changes they would like to make but are afraid to take the plunge!

When deciding to embark on a remodel/redecorating project it can be a bit indimidating and overwhelming. That's why it's important to have someone that shares your decorating aesthetic but can also gently push you out of your box to look at options that you were unaware of. Cassy Young did just that. She was highly professional and knowledgeable but also personable and fun to work with. She got to know what I feel comfortable with and provided options...but not so many that I was overwhelmed. Cassy went over and above what I would expect from a "interior designer"...she made it easy. My family and I love our living space and would definitely recommend her to others.

Nicole Mila Design is a wonderful company to work with. She has been a tremendous help in my house renovations. She has a great knowledge of tile selection, paint selection and she has great ideas in improving the living space! She transformed my traditional kitchen and three bathrooms to nice and modern rooms! She also helped me to choose the right light fixtures, entry doors and hardware.

Vicki is great to work with and understands how to meld the styles of spouses into something that pleases the eye. She has been inspiring and nurturing and forceful when necessary to keep the vision on track as we navigate through the project. If your'e looking for a true professional who will work with your individual style while infusing her own flair who can incorporate many of your existing furnishings as much as possible and within a workable budget Vicki is your go to designer. For example, we had several high quality pieces that were sadly destined for Goodwill (We simply had no place for them in the new space or the fabric was dated) that Vicki identified, helped select new fabrics and we were able to have them reupholstered and they look better than NEW while saving us money... Anyway, i could go on and on singing her praises, but suffice it to say that I interviewed several designers before selecting Vicki and she has not disappointed, we couldn't be happier.

When a faulty drain pipe flooded my home I was distraught about the extent of the damages. It was clear that all of the flooring in my home would need to be replaced along with some cabinetry and drywall. I started by calling the first contractor recommended by my insurance agency. This contractor did a fine job handling the water damage, but was ill-prepared to guide me through the detailed process of restoring my home. When he told me he planned to pick-up replacement cabinetry at Home Depot without asking for my preference on replacement products, I realized that allowing a carpet-cleaning company to redesign my home was probably not the best idea. Without Infinite Home I would have had little to no control over the process of restoring my home. Infinite Home turned a disappointing circumstance into an opportunity to improve and update our home. David started by reviewing the actual damages to my house, comparing the damage with my insurance claim. David and I agreed that my insurance adjustor was mostly fair with the amount he allotted for replacement items, but David found a few details the adjustor missed. After sharing those details with my adjustor, my adjustor decided to send me an additional check that totaled over one thousand dollars. Once I’d received the total claim amount from my adjustor, David helped to create a plan for the renovations. We began by focusing on what needed to be done, but quickly transitioned into what could be done. With our budget as the only boundary, David described possibilities for the renovation I’d not even imagined. After our conversation I realized that David’s goal was not mere replacement, but dramatic improvement of our home. It is rare to find a contractor in the restoration business who is comfortable talking about design and style. Most contractors lack creativity and, if a material can’t be found at Home Depot, they often don’t know it exists. David understands that building materials should be both durable and beautiful, and his work is customized to fit the taste of each customer. David helped me to select flooring and cabinetry that complimented my appreciation for contemporary design. He accessed multiple vendors (one in particular was on the other side of town) to get me the best price on the best looking materials available. He uses cutting-edge software that kept me informed through every phase of the project. David gave me a login and password that allowed me to see every detail of our budget. Even better, it alerted me via email when a change was made to the budget. On several occasions I received notification that I’d been issued a refund because a particular material was purchased at a lower price than originally quoted. When we came in under budget he passed the savings directly on to me. His approach made the entire process transparent and interactive. When the project was complete I ended up with more than what I’d lost in the flood. My floors were now covered with beautiful, genuine wood flooring instead of cheap laminate. My old cabinetry was replaced with contemporary-looking modern cabinetry with far more storage space. A sleek-looking tile backdrop was installed on the wall above the new cabinets to complete the renovation. I am so thankful that Infinite Home was there when I needed them. What began as an emergency restoration project turned into a beautiful renovation thanks to Infinite Home.

Justin & John did an incredible job removing a wall in our condo and moving our electrical to another place. It really opened up the space and they were done in less than 2 days! Any materials they needed, they got themselves & just gave us the receipts, even going to a further home depot location to get the correct flooring for our space. We're very pleased with the job and would recommend them to anyone
