American Hardwood Flooring of MN, LLC was great to work with. We were looking to have flooring refinished and then add matching flooring in another room. The floors we had refinished were one 15 years old and I was a bit nervous about the colors matching in the end. When Henry came out he explained the different ofinishing options we had and was able to explain the differences between them so we could understand. He and his team were very efficient and made sure that dust would not be an issue after they were done. We are extremely satisfied with their work and love our new and revived floors! We would recommend them for any woodfloor needs. We cant say enough good about our experience and the quality of work!

By far the best flooring person that we have ever dealt with. The repair and refinishing of our maple hardwood floor was completed to perfection - while Henry treated our home respectfully and with almost no dust! When looking to refinish the hardwood floor of my new condo, I contacted three companies for bids. Henry Wuollet, the owner of American Hardwood Floors, was the most responsive and was able to schedule the job within my timeframe. The floors looked just beautiful afterwards! Scratches and discolorations were completely gone. He also made a custom threshold for the room, which one contractor had balked at. Henry's son did a lot of the work and was very professional.

I had Brazilian Cherry floors that needed updating. Henry walked me through my color choices, provided me samples, sent me pics and we decided on a beautiful ebony stain. Working with Henry was the best decision we could have made for our historical home. His talent and work ethic are SUPERIOR. He does what he says he's going to do, not many do that anymore. Whenever someone new walks into our home they always comment on how beautiful our floors are. I've also used American Hardwood flooring of Mn with some of my clients. He's always on the top of my list when it comes to flooring.

We hired American Hardwood Flooring to install 5” wide Rift and Quartered White Oak flooring in our LR, DR, and kitchen after removing a wall to open up our space. I had spent a lot of time on house looking at photos of hardwood flooring and researching the different finishes. I knew I wanted R & Q white oak in a natural, low sheen or matte finish. Henry was kind enough to prepare a few sample boards to allow me to compare and contrast the finishes. We ultimately decided on the Bona Naturale due to the organic look it produced. Henry also suggested using a certain sealer that would help to keep the color light by inactivating the tannins in the wood. American Hardwood did an excellent installation job on the floor, and also did some creative trim work to hide a tear in the wallpaper that occurred when we tried to remove the trim ourselves. We have been extremely happy with the look and wear of our wood floor! Two years later it still looks great! At Henry’s recommendation, I’ve been using Glitsa hardwood cleaner on it and I love the product. It comes in a concentrate for big jobs or a premixed spray bottle for in-between spot cleaning. I highly recommend this company.

The work installing maple floors in the main level of our rambler by American Hardwood could not have been any more beautiful. The owner Henry was very helpful as we struggled to choose the right wood species and he suggested a great showroom to help us make a selection. The work was done on time, the site was kept clean and the outcome was just gorgeous. Each guest since the floors were installed has raved about how beautiful the floors are. Henry's costs were completely competitive with the other three bids we received. He was very responsive to calls along the way. Henry had been strongly recommended by a friend who is a GC of high end home remodels. Like him- I would work with American Hardwood again in a heartbeat and recommend the company with absolutely no reservations.

Henry was referred to us by a custom cabinet maker. Without a doubt Henry and his crew are great at what they do! We would definitely use him again when needed and recommend him without reservation. Our home's oak hardwood had not been refinished in ~14 years. They were quite worn from allowing our kids to play and ride toys/bikes/boards on them when it was too cold or rainy to go outside. While we cherish the memories, the kids are grown and the gash marks made learning to Ollie on a skateboard needed to go. My wife was very happy to move on and have "grown up" floors once again. Henry and his crew have meticulous attention to detail, carefully working on hands and knees near walls, corners, and abutting room floor transitions. They worked us in to their schedule quickly, completely cleaned up each day, and finished ahead of schedule. We felt very comfortable giving them a house key to come and go one a day we needed to be out of the house. When completed, we were amazed how beautiful the floors looked. It's been 10 months since the work was done, and our floors still look great!

We've been working with Henry and American Hardwood Flooring for over a year and he is by far the best flooring contractor we've worked with. He is a great communicator, arrives when he says he will, sticks to his pricing, and gets the job done on time and done right. We've used them for new floor installs as well as patching in over 70-year-old flooring. They've done great work on both types of jobs and everything in between that we've had them work on.
