Rustic Flooring does amazing work. They did the floors in 2015 in part of our house and they turned out amazing. We loved it so much we had them back in 2019 to replace the rest. Marcel is very knowledgeable and helpful. Reasonably priced and fast. He also we nothing but accommodating when our timeline got pushed back and he had to start a couple weeks later.

He came out quickly to assess my floors and was very knowledgeable of flooring and condo regulations. I had gone through multiple contractors, and he was the best of the bunch. He also went out of his way to go to floor and decor to make sure the few options I gave him would work. He was also very considerate about figuring out ways I could save money. They also worked super fast! I had other contractors tell me that it would take a full week to rip out the floors and install new ones for ~560 sq feet of space, and it only took them a day and a half! It was great working with Marcel, would definitely hire him again!

Very professional, great suggestions. Worked quickly/efficiently with precision. Very competitively priced. Could improve on small things...such as patching corners/dry wall spots that were damaged. Plan ahead if you are the person who needs time to decide on the perfect stain.

I hired MB Flooring for a project on my stairs, wanted to replace the carpet with hardwood floor and also change the rails and balusters.
Marcel came and quoted the project within 48 hours. He asked a partner (Cristian) to handle the job as he specializes in that type of stairs I have.
In less than a week the job was done. Excellent work quality and professional manners from Cristian and his team. They were in all the details, worked hard and were open to my questions or comments.
Very pleased with their job.

I have hired MB Flooring twice now and have been thoroughly satisfied each time. For future issues, Marcel will continue to be my go-to floor guy.
When we gutted our outdated tile in the foyer and kitchen, he was able to match new wood to our pre-existing wood floors in the family and living rooms. The entire floor looks gorgeous.

I asked for Quote one was given. I accepted the Quote we scheduled a date. Marcel pushed date back twice. I asked him to come buy to get key. He did 2 days late. then on agreed start date marcel called my painter and said he wasn't doing the job. He never called me or E mailed me or texted me. And Marcel would not take my call. To this day 2 weeks later he has never explained himself. Left me hanging. They took a more lucrative job and would not even show me the decency of a call or an Excuse. This was the strangest way to not do a job... be careful if Marcel and his wife start pushing you back they may not show up at all. I am sure his team does good work but I would not know his team never showed up... plenty of other contractors out there. I am not sure what response they will post here but whatever it is that will be the first time they has responded to my inquiries... worst floor guy ever.

Commented: does synteko satin finish get more glossy with additional coats?It looks pretty shiny for a satin finish, even thou it’s three coats, but the thing is, synteko is a two component finish and the satin if it’s not stirred very well, it can come out different shades.

I always appreciate a constructive feedback but unfortunately when it comes to your project, to be honest, i was very reluctant to even do the project for you. One day, before you left town for that week, the same week the job was scheduled, you called me, forgetting to mention that you leave town, just asking for me to come and get the house key. When i asked why, you then mentioned that you are actually leaving for a week. I am not comfortable to have a customer house keys in my possession, i didn't even had a contact person. Long story short, the day of the job, i got there with 4 crew members, to find the dog jumping at me, barking freely and coming towards us (with not good intentions) we just opened the door, we didn't step in the house because of the dog, and the carpet wasn't removed, as we agreed on before you leaving town, and the sub floor wasn't cleaned and ready to lay down the hardwood floors. I called your painter, who i did talked to before and he introduced himself to me as the Project Manager of the job, because the actual GC was just fired by you, and explain the situation, which he totally agreed, never the less, asking for my quote and my price, because he wanted to do the floors himself, which i totally agreed with, not being comfortable with the way you, and your fiancee left the situation. I NEVER GOT NO PHONE CALLS FROM YOU, OR E-MAILS FOR THAT MATTER. I'm sorry you fell this way Dave. Thank you very much for your feedback, and i truly hope you finally found the right people in the different trades that you need, and can hire to finish your projects in your house.
