“Our project isn't even finished yet, but I wanted to give a huge shoutout to David's Flooring! From the first contact, David has been a dream to work with. Over the past 30+ years we have contacted, got estimates and hired many different contractors for all kinds of projects both large and small, from indoor and outdoor painting, fencing, complete kitchen and bathroom refresh to decking and landscaping. Some experiences were better than others. David was prompt to reply from the first contact with fantastic communication and customer service at every point. The project started on time and is on schedule to finish on time. We wanted to replace the old carpet and laminate in our basement with heated LVP flooring. After contacting a couple other well known businesses who told us they couldn't do the required prep work and could only install the flooring, we asked David who said "sure!" After finding and reading his glowing Google and Yelp reviews, I noted that others said that David did more extensive work for them, so I asked about removing the base cabinets from our home office then reinstalling them so the new flooring will be under the cabinets and repainting the walls too. Again, it was no problem! He suggested replacing all the old baseboards as well, so we are adding that finishing touch. I much appreciate not having to find, hire and schedule several different contractors to have a completed project! He and his crew are punctual and respectful of our time and property. They are quiet and clean up after each days work. They are also great craftsman with attention to detail and great problem solvers. “I purchased floating cork plank flooring from Icork Floors and I am very happy with the product. I have had cork floors in the past - some good and some not so good, so I was very particular about the quality of product and the finish. Anne and Stephanie were both so patient and knowledgeable as I called many times to ask questions. The pattern I bought called Salami is beautiful. I wanted something with both light and dark that would age well and not show dirt. I was amazed at how beautiful each plank was as I inspected them when I took them out of the box. I was worried that the pattern might be busy but it blends beautifully, looks rich with an organic feel to it. It is warm and comfortable to walk on and is not cold. We did apply extra finish as recommended as part of the floor is in our kitchen. The finish has a subtle luster to it and as I read somewhere by another reviewer, an almost velvet like finish. The floor is pretty easy to maintain. We do have a new Shark vacuum with a special microfiber cloth attachment on the wand which works nifty for cork or wood floors. The folks at Icork and their sister company Cancork really know cork and take pride in what they do.”

“Adam and his wife, Yolanda (I hope I have her name correct!), refinished and wove in new oak floors for the upstairs remodel of our home. They also laid new floors on the stairs to the downstairs living area. They did an awesome job all around. Adam told us that his system is "dust free" and he was correct. He also told us that we wouldn't need to move out of the house for a period of time due to toxic odors from the finishing products. Again, he was correct. Adam gave us an estimate of how long the project would take and he was done a day early! They even waited a month or two to do the final buffing and finishing so that we could get our cabinets in. Adam is both and artist and a perfectionist and, if I ever have a need for wood flooring work in the future, I would not hesitate to call him. We are very happy with our floors!”

“Alex was very knowledgeable and provided the best estimate experience of the vendors we selected for quotes- he also had a very competitive price. He was able to work us in to his schedule in a very timely manner. The job was quite a bit involved but Alex stayed on schedule; the site was maintained in a very clean way each day which was much appreciated as we had to live in the house while he was working for most of the time. Communication was good. The craftsmanship is really spectacular, with framing around the fireplace, etc. We had white oak installed on the entire 1st floor, on the staircase, and upstairs landing, and Alex demo'd the old carpet, laminate, vinyl, and some hardwood that the house had previously. We also had all of the baseboards replaced with taller ones. The final product looks better than we thought it could look, and has proven to be durable to date with two dogs in the house. We did not stain the wood and they used the Swedish Finish which was the right choice for our home- we are so glad we followed Alex's advice on this as the floors look amazing. The smell went away very quickly, and the floors held up very well without a scratch during a party a week after they were finished. I will recommend this company to all of our friends and family, and will absolutely call them again if we ever need flooring or refinishing.”
