    “I had searched for vintage, old growth oak flooring in my area for over a year. Having found a beautiful home in Glencoe slated for demolition, I removed 800 sq ft of the vintage quarter sawn and rift sawn floors, de-nailed them and brought them home. Then came the search for the installer. I called around and had a classified ad up. Michael from Mysha's Flooring came out to bid on the job. He was professional and full of knowledgable tips for us whether we used his services or not. A great guy. His bid was not the lowest, but we felt confident in his work. So we decided to hire him. He removed the old flooring and installed the reclaimed, quickly and carefully. Always aware of surrounding areas and kept the job site clean and organized. He kept us in the loop on all phases of the job. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Michael. The floors look beautiful and full of character. He is a lovely person and a truly skilled craftsman with high standards. Would highly recommend him.”

    “We used Alia's Flooring and Remodeling for interior house painting (walls, ceilings, doors, windows, brick fireplace), new carpeting in four bedrooms, and refinishing of 33 year old hardwood floors in 4 rooms, plus stairs and hallway. Their crews were always professional, knowledgeable, skilled and hard working. They came as promised, and cleaned up prior to leaving. I am so happy I chose them, and so pleased with my new finished look! A special shout out to Carlos and the hardwood floor refinishing crew. They did an amazing job on our very heavily used floors, replacing boards where needed, and made it look seamless. I could not have imagined a more spectacular transformation!     “I highly recommend Vintage Wood Floors & Stairs. I hired Vintage to re-stain my banisters and replace the balusters with wrought iron. The Owner, Mr. Morello, was very responsive and explained the process to me. He provided a detailed explanation of the project, including options and gave me a formal quote within hours. Vintage arrived on time and protected my flooring and carpeting while they worked. At the end of each day, they ensured the area was vacuumed before departing. The final project turned out better than I expected. I would absolutely recommend Vintage for any project.”

    “If you are seeking masterful craftsmsnship & installation by a team of committed professionals... Look no further. We are thrilled with our stunning hardwood floors! We interviewed a dozen hardwood floor companies for our project: a modern installation of square edge, diagonal hardwood (ending up with gorgeous light Cumaru). We wanted to have no baseboards but are remodeling with existing walls. Gaetano creatively met the challenge by cutting the bottom of the drywall and sliding the boards "under" the wall. The result are the clean, modern lines we desired! Richard, Cheryl, Chtis, Bree, Marco and the rest of the team are top rate.”

    “This was a kitchen and dinning room floor replacement. The team at Unique Wood Floors helped me select, purchase, and install my hardwood floors. I had many questions since this was my first remodel and to complicate things I was out of town during the actual work since it was so extensive. They were very helpful and it all turned out great. I needed an additional trim piece and they dropped it off at my office since it was on their way so I didn't have to drive across town to pick it up. Highly recommended!”
