“When my husband’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease our lives took a turn of uncertainty. A memory facility was not something she could afford, and we wanted her to have reliable care from those who loved her most, but having her move into out 2,000 square foot home was not an option, because it was too small. Since we loved our location and lot, it just made sese to build onto our current home instead of moving. Then came the challenge of finding a builder that not only understood new construction, but how the new part and the old part of the house should come together. “This is the second remodel job Summit has done for us. We have gutted the master bedroom, bath and walk-in closet, plus our son's bathroom. The work is progressing smoothly. Their level of craftsmanship is beautiful and of very high quality. We are using handmade tiles and marbles, and beautiful woods for cabinets, floors and panelling. Monte and Leroy are some of the nicest and easiest contractors I have ever worked with. We built this house and have done 6 remodeling jobs over the last 30 years. The project is progressing in a very timely fashion. We should be completed in 5 more weeks. This has been a very enjoyable project and I highly recommend Summit Homes.”
