“Daniel and his father laced new maple hardwood flooring into the existing 30 year old floor to replace carpet in one area and gaps left by a kitchen remodel. I appreciated their consultation with me to ensure the replacement pieces looked nicely integrated with the existing floor. They sanded the entire floor and applied two coats of stain clearcoat finish that looks good and seems durable. Be aware that even with sanding there may be different coloration on the old flooring vs. the new as I experienced in one area. Daniel provided valuable input throughout the process and I know that if I have any issues he will be available to address them.”

We moved this summer from the Bay Area and wanted to replace some nice carpeting with elegant wood floors. It was a big job -- about 2500 square feet of wood. I was quite impressed with their care and creativity in solving problems such as how to safely accommodate wires that had been under the carpets and which now had to fit under the flooring (Dave carefully carved grooves into the floorboards as needed).
