From the initial consultation, through installation day, Cid was generous with his time, thorough, answered all my questions, and provided insight and education about flooring. No matter how many questions I had, he was patient and thorough, and never made me feel rushed. I was especially impressed with the different options he provided for my particular flooring problem- a true sign of an expert in the field, and someone who wants to do what is ‘right,’ and not what is easiest, going above and beyond to make the customer happy. Cid’s installer (Igor, a hard worker, with impeccable attention to detail) took the extra time and effort to expertly match sizes of the wood pieces, so there was minimal gap between pieces of flooring. The other company was downright sloppy and not worth the money. Cid does it and does it right!”

“I hired Luminous Flooring to refinish the floors in my living room, dining room, family room and entry hall. They replaced my entry hall with the white oak to match the rest of the flooring they were refinishing. They also replaced my kitchen floor. This was a wonderful experience. Matt Lukens, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with. At any point when I contacted him, he immediately responded. One crew came out in February to replace the linoleum in my kitchen with Coretex flooring. The floor is quiet, warm and soft. I am very happy with the product and the crew did an excellent job in just a few hours. In March they started on the refinishing/replacing, Matt had this scheduled out perfectly. It seemed he had crews of 3-4 people and they all specialized in something different. The first crew removed all of my furniture into the garage and they began covering my window treatments, ducting, bookcases, etc. The next crew showed up to sand, another crew to stain and the last crew to put on baseboards. The floors turned out amazing and the baseboards really looked great. By the end of the week, everything was complete except for the floors because they needed to sit before putting the furniture back. On Monday they arrived on time again to take care of that. I have done a lot of home improvements and this had to be the smoothest operation I have ever seen. When I received bids from other companies, they did not move furniture or replace baseboards and still charged the same amount of money. Hiring Luminous again would be a no-brainer. I trusted and liked all the men that came to do the work and it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them.”
