When you build a home with Roland Builder Inc., your home not only showcases the quality craftsmanship of a job well done, it also reflects a softer side that says, "Welcome Home." What began as a husband and wife team over 40 years ago has matured into a family owned and operated business. Working together, Lee and Rosalie and son, Brent Roland's commitment to exceeding customer expectation have earned them the reputation as The Premier Builder in Central Pennsylvania. Lee Roland began remodeling homes in 1976 with a desire to earn his living making people's dream homes a reality. By 1979, he built his first spec home. His wife, Rosalie, a part time accounting teacher at Messiah College, joined the business several years later. They understood that a person's home is a reflection of who they are from the inside out. Together, they met with clients to design homes, and in 1984 built their first "Custom Home." Forty years and over 350 homes later, they remain committed to the future of Roland Builder, Inc. Over the years, Lee has contributed to every stage of the building process; from staking out the house for the best street appeal and overseeing final inspections, to on site construction supervision. His meticulous eye for detail and expert craftsmanship stems from years spent as a finish carpenter. Over their many successful years, Rosalie has contributed her expertise in business development, pricing homes, maximizing floor plan designs for best function and flow, and suggesting amenities that provide homeowners with a home they will enjoy and be proud of from the moment they walk through the front door. January 1, 2016 marked the beginning of a new chapter for Roland Builder, Inc. Brent W. Roland was named President, and will be responsible for the future of the company. Brent grew up in the business and after working in the Information Technology field for 5 years returned to the family business in 2003. Since then he has brought expertise to information systems, marketing and advertising, and custom home design. Roland Builder prides itself on building homes of exceptional quality and impeccable design. It is this standard of excellence and commitment to quality that home buyers have come to expect when they want the best.

We believe that good design is making spaces that make you want to come home to roost. Good design begins with understanding; understanding how we build, how we live, and how we affect the environment around us. As our modern culture has developed, we have become increasingly specialized which is why we focus on responsible designs. This means protecting land, using responsible materials, and designing carefully so we can inhabit more efficient and inspiring spaces. Visiting your land or space and getting to know your lifestyle allows me to design a functional and sustainable environment exactly as you had imagined. Experience has provided an understanding of local building codes, especially with historic homes. This knowledge lends to an efficient design approval process so your project can be completed in a timely manner. If you are ready to explore how you could start living differently and how spaces can enhance life and represent your values, let’s get started. -- Joshua Dourte founded Roost Architecture as a boutique architectural firm with an emphasis on residential design. Yohe Architecture + Design (YAD) provides high value, low impact, sustainable design that reflects each client’s vision, generates conversation and incorporates local and global environmental factors. YAD differentiates itself from other architecture firms by placing an emphasis on listening to the needs of every client. By listening, YAD brings a client’s vision to life using a combination of hand drawn and/or 3D modeling sketches. Each design iteration is reviewed with the client to ensure that the completed product accurately captures the owner’s vision, unique style and requirements – enhanced by YAD’s architectural expertise. The foundation of all YAD projects is built on strong relationships with local residential and commercial owners, consultants and construction teams. Communication and collaboration with all involved parties is the key to each successful project. Three dimensional technologies are used as a tool to validate designs and facilitate communication. That being said, YAD takes pride in keeping the ‘human factor’ in all projects. What begins as hand drawn sketches over a cup of coffee – will evolve into highly detailed, accurate designs as conversations between all involved parties continue through each phase of the process. As consideration to the environment continues to play a large role in home and building design, YAD has the necessary experience and credentials to design LEED certified structures. LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. As one of a select few local architecture firms with a LEED certified architect as the owner, YAD provides its clients with energy efficient commercial and residential design and architectural services. Thoughtful, informed, educated design principals are used on all YAD projects to ensure that we reach our goal of ‘continuous client satisfaction’. Frequent word of mouth referrals, repeat business and positive client feedback is the barometer used to determine how successful we are in meeting this goal.

Established in January 2006, the firm of Michael P Dolce AIA Architect is located in the Bel Air region of Harford County, Maryland. Michael P Dolce maintains architectural licenses in Maryland and New York State and primarily serves Baltimore City and all of the surrounding counties. My goals on all projects are to work closely with the client to produce creative design solutions that meet their functional needs, spatial requirements and the construction budget. All facets of the project will be considered from start to finish, including specific client requirements, project context, sustainable (or “green”) design features, site features, views, solar orientation, zoning restraints, etc. The added challenge on addition and alteration work is to seamlessly integrate the new building features with the existing structure. I have an extensive amount of experience on these project types. I have over 30 years in the field, the past 24 years as the Lead Architect on various projects, many of which required collaboration with other professional consultants. From custom homes with the latest in sustainable design to commercial tenant build outs, I offer a combination of experience, vision and professionalism.
