I am so thankful that we asked him to do this because after seeing his work we were able to see what we could not visualize from the drawings that were given to us. We were then able to go back to the builder with the necessary changes for this area before we spent the money on a reception area that we would not have been happy with.”

“We recently used Paul for a bathroom remodel. The result is a beautifully renovated bathroom that we will enjoy for years to come. We enjoyed the professional relationship and appreciated how well Paul and his staff treated Annabelle, our dog. From start to finish the project was managed professionally and efficient. His knowledge and input resulted in adding a beautiful barn door that was custom built by Paul. We would highly recommend using Paul to anyone looking to remodel. The project was finished in a timely manner and the quality is outstanding. The updates he provides daily by email were very much appreciated so we could track the project from start to finish. “Gwaltney Construction renovated a 35 year old home built by a craftsman. It was a unique A-frame with a loft, built for one person so it needed updating as well as a significant addition. We chose the perfect company to do our project. They are not just builders, but craftsman as well. They respected the previous work and built a seamless addition; matching old barn wood beams, finding and finishing wood so you can't tell a difference between the 40 year old floor and new one and so much more. Gwaltney Construction exceeded our expectations on many levels. They made improvements to the architectural plans, they problem solved and came up with perfect solutions when a problem arose, they were respectful and kept an immaculate construction site. We recommend them highly!”

“After my Air Conditioner backed up and flooded the wood floor in 4 rooms of my house, I contacted Greg Avant of Avant & Avant Construction, Inc., to give me a quote for the much dreaded repair/remodel process. I also contacted 2 other local contractors for quotes. All three quotes were very close in price however, after much conversation with Mr. Avant, we decided to contract the job with him. We had to remove 3 rooms of wood flooring and replaced with porcelain tile, removed the dining room wall and constructed an archway between the dining room and foyer. All work was performed while we continued to live in the house. Mr. Avant was ever mindful the we were continuing to live in the house and assured that during the entire process that all my furniture was covered and gently moved and I never had to empty my China cabinet or curio cabinet. His work was impeccable and completed on time as we agreed. I was extremely satisfied with the work performed and would not hesitate to call on Avant & Avant Construction Inc. in the future, whether it be a remodel or to build a house from the ground up.”
