I was referred to Jay at Cooling and plumbing by a friend when my AC unit stopped working right at the start of summertime in AZ. Jay was honest and let me know his team was very busy and could not make it out right away. However, he shared some referrals to other service providers that could get to my property next day to evaluate the issues. He also let me know if it was determined the unit needed to be replaced to call him back and he would work with me on great price and timeline to replace the unit asap. I did just that, the service company was able to get my 23 year old unit up and running for 2-3 weeks but said that due to the refrigerant leak my AC unit will require replacement. I called Jay back the next day and let him know I needed a new unit and within 24 hours he had a quote and said to let him know when I needed the unit replaced. I scheduled it for 2 weeks later and his team was in and out in under 7 hours with a crane. Both he and his team continuously communicated every step and sent pictures of the completed project along with taking care of registration of the new product for me. This was one of the best experiences I have experienced since moving to AZ 3 years ago with any type of contractor. The honesty, communication, quality of workmanship and pricing from Jay and his team was top shelf. We had the best experience with The Cooling & Plumbing Co. they are professional, run a smooth installation, and most importantly, are extremely honest and fair. We recently renovated a commercial property, and our contractor brought them to install some gas lines for us, which went seamlessly. Then some months later we had an AC unit go out. We had a different company come to bid out the job and they came back with an astronomical price to replace one unit and repair the compressor on another. I contacted Jay the owner of cooling and plumbing to see if his team could come out and give us a second bid. He agreed the prior companies bid was extremely high. He came in $7000 under on the replacement unit and informed us that the second unit did not need a compressor replacement, it simply needed a compressor tuneup. Ultimately Jay saved us $13,000. I highly recommend Jay and his team and they will be our go-to for all things cooling & plumbing!

From the minute I spoke to Jay and showed him photos of our water main breaking he showed incredible knowledge and experience. He walked me through what to expect, timelines for completion and answered all my questions and concerns. Next day service came to get our water back up and running and his team was here early and took the time introduce themselves and let us know their plan start to completion. Had a new heat pump installed just before it got real hot, as the old one was about to die. The technician, Patrick, arrived early to set everything up. He explained the process of what he was doing, what was wrong with the old unit, and the efficiency and cost savings of the new unit. The crane arrived on time, took the old unit off and placed the new unit on. Patrick assembled everything and we were running cool by noon. I am very satisfied with the work and professionalism of Patrick and the Cooling & Plumbing Co. I highly recommend them.

Had hard scape and a fireplace done in my backyard in July. Next step was having a trench dug and a gas line laid to the fireplace. Received multiple quotes that were extremely outrageous. Decided to give it a break for a few months as I had lost hope. Fast forward to November and decided to give it another shot. This time I went to Facebook “Go Gilbert” page. Made a post and received multiple referrals. Amongst a handful of them was Jay Monday. Everyone who had mentioned him was singing his praises. Figured I would give it a shot and reach out to him. Upon messaging Jay I received an immediate response with his credentials and he also provided a very informative message in regard to my needs, along with a warm/ personalized greeting. Jay came over and gave me a more than reasonable quote. It was actually hard to believe. Along those lines Jay was very professional, sociable, genuine and extremely honest. It was a no brainer at that point and we scheduled the install. Jay’s crew was simply astonishing! With their superb communication prior to, during and after install. Extremely friendly, genuine and sociable (just like Jay). And the work they did was spot on with the excellence I had expected! I was so discouraged before I had worked with Jay and his crew. Everything from beginning to end couldn’t have left me any happier. He does everything in his power to make sure customer satisfaction is to the utmost and I am a lifelong customer at this point!

I have nothing but great things to say about Jay and his team. We recently moved into a home in Phoenix and used Jay for a new water softener install as well as adding a gas line to convert our old electric oven range to a new gas one, as well as a gas line to our backyard for our future pool, spa, firepit & BBQ. We had 2 other companies other than Jay's to come out to bid us for everything. Jay was not only the most reasonably priced, he actually took the time to explain to me everything in detail, what to do/not to do, was super professional and very friendly. I did not feel any pressure whatsoever and he was not sales-y at all. Him and his team were extremely timely on all the installs. There is absolutely a reason he and his company have 5 stars across the board. Him and his team are simply the best & I will continue to use them for all our cooling, plumbing, and gas needs. Chris provided Excellent service and communication. Completed his work in less time than the wife and I were anticipating. He was sure to walk me through filter changeouts, trouble shooting, and general knowledge of how the system works. Will certainly use The Cooling & Plumbing Co again!

If you’re looking for a company to do anything that has to do with heating cooling propane gas this company is very easy to get along with and does exactly what they say and they’ve actually gone over and above for us very satisfied

Ok, this is the third time I’ve used Jay Monday and The Cooling & Plumbing Company. Where have you been my entire life? Called on the weekend about replacing toilets in house. Jay answers my text shortly after I sent it. Scheduled replacement toilets in like 3 days and boom…all complete and very happy. Having dealt with other HVAC companies in my life, I can say unequivocally that Jay Monday is the best and I highly recommend him and his company for your HVAC needs.

Jay returned my phone call right away and got me scheduled the next day for a last minute job to have my water softener tanks relocated before we had the floor epoxied the following day. Chris and the other tech (sorry I’m terrible with names) did an excellent job and were done in less than 3 hours. Clean work and were super informative with explaining the process. Highly recommended!!!
