“David McCay built our house on Lake Chatuge. He was totally involved from start to finish, from siting the house on the lot to handing us the key when finished. Not only was he engaged in every process, he directed many aspects of the building process. He was there everyday and was involved in decisions that affected design even though we had plans. David was never shy about giving an opinion that would improve the house. It was always very apparent that our house was his house in that it was a reflection of his work. We have since been able to tour other houses on the lake in similar price ranges and it is our opinion that none compare to this house.”

“I would like to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for Cory Waters and his team with Built Solid Construction & Plumbing. As many others have shared, it can be a challenge to find people you can trust to do great work. We had some water damage to our property and time is of the essence with anything to do with water. Cory bent over backwards to help me resolve the issue. He was able to get over to the property and assess the situation quickly and get to work on resolving it. And there were some interesting and unique twists to our situation and he did a great job troubleshooting and problem solving. He kept me informed every step of the way, sending lots of pictures and always explaining things and getting my permission before moving forward. I cannot thank him enough for his integrity and professionalism and for doing such an amazing job getting the property back into tip top shape so quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Cory and his team!”

“We hired Parker and Son Construction to build our dream home on Lake Notterly in October of 2016. Scott exceeded our expectations by: * focusing on the customer experience from beginning to the end of the project (a rare quality) * a seemingly unlimited amount of patience to explain the details that we wanted and needed to understand to make choices that we always felt good about * carefully balancing beauty and quality of the finished product with the budget * experienced and quality construction professionals and strong, respected relationships with local suppliers and the county (believe me it makes a difference!) * building a house that he takes personal pride in But when all said and done it comes down to five fundamental principles of "how" Scott operates -- honesty, integrity, flexibility, creativity, quality.”

“It was great working with Richard - he has unbounded enthusiasm for creating environmentally healthy homes which use as little on-grid energy as possible. His creative ideas regarding passive solar heating meshed right in with my less-educated desires. The end result is an Energy Star certified home with passive solar heating and active solar water heating .... and it looks good too!!!!”

“MV Home Builders performed a major addition to my home. What was an 1100 sq ft, 2 bdrm, one level home became a 2800 sq ft, 4 bdrm home with a walkout basement. The entire site was re-graded, a garage added and the driveway redone. Doug and Mike were great to work with and explained the process all along the way. The quality of work was as we expected it to be and I don't believe a more trustworthy home builder can be obtained. If I was going to do another project, I would not think twice about using them again.”
