During construction, Steve was incredibly responsive, oversaw every detail, inspired and encouraged creative ideas, and was always positve; he never cracked under the pressure we put on him. Steve's wife, Susan, was especially helpful in filtering for us the abundance of design choices and selections that go into a custom home. We could not have devoted the time to the selection and design process without Susan's tireless assistance and artistic input. The result of Gander Builders' work: a home that meets our needs and warms our hearts. Steve and Sue really created a work of art for us to live in, unique to us.”

“I want to sincerely thank Harpe Development for our beautiful home. With 4 children now, we really out grew our previous house and it was time for an upgrade. And WHAT an upgrade it is! Building a house is not the easiest thing to do especially when you re not handy or design savvy. But Dustin, Cory, John & Jason really made the process an easy one. I can t imagine if I didn t have Cory & John to help me pick all the things that make a house beautiful and a good fit for my family. Any request I had was always granted, but not before we discussed our options and pricing first. That s what I loved the most. There were no hidden costs, or attempts to push upgrades in places where we didn t want or need them. Harpe was always very straight forward with all so there weren t any surprises. Any time an issue occurred a solution was provided . This surprised me as well...given we were building a pretty large house. Honestly for all the things that went right when building with Harpe, they exceeded our expectations. A special shout out to Jason for this! He always had a handle on everything on-site, working with contractors and fielding my phone calls/emails daily with questions or changes. His response time was always quick and courteous! Everyone told us building a house was awful, too much work and not worth the time. Apparently those people didn t build with Harpe. I m sure glad we didn t listen. Thank you everyone for the beautiful home! We look forward to a lifetime of memories thanks to you!”

“New Explode Construction Saved the Project! I don't write many reviews and did so this time because Sebastian Micle, Owner of New Explode Construction, went above and beyond the call of duty. I tried to save money on some electrical work as well as a kitchen & bathroom remodel. The original contractors made many mistakes and left the place a mess. I had a tight deadline and New Explode came in and fixed all the work and then proceeded to perform several other improvements to my condo. Sebastian stands apart from most of the contractors I have worked with because he has the highest integrity and will always give you a fair and honest assessment of the situation. More importantly, his word is his bond and he always stands behind his work. I give him my unconditional recommendation and will be using him for my projects in the future. “Working with Dominic and LivModern was a pleasure from beginning to end. We initially found Dominic through another California-like, clean, and modern house he built. Besides his aesthetic, it was also his statement that he would build our home just like he would build one for himself…that is a very different perspective than most builders, and really resonated with us. He truly cares about the details as if it was his own house. Not just the visible features, but the mechanicals and the detail behind the walls and under the floors. He limits the number of simultaneous projects so he and his team really focused on our home. Our trust in Dominic was well-placed and in the end, he built us a wonderful home on which we are complimented constantly. We also left other aspects of the home building process and design in Dominic’s hands - he handled all of our landscaping design, designed our pool and deck, and our driveway.
