We'd worked with another architect but hadn't gotten a design we liked, so we started from scratch and sketched a floor plan ourselves. We even made a cardboard model to show the modern style we had in mind. But we wanted a good architect to give the design the polish it needed. Bill and Jess were recommended to us by a friend of our son. They improved what we had, remaining loyal to our vision while integrating a better roof design that achieved a pleasing volume to the interior, and providing overall coherence to the design. After completing the final plans, they worked with our contractor to make sure the house turned out the way we wanted. Always a pleasure to work with, Bill and Jess gave us great suggestions and were responsive to requests. Every day we admire the lines of our new house.
