Arron, who is very detailed oriented, was so easy to work with. From the very start he listened to our ideas to make sure everything we wanted was incorporated into the plan. If we wanted to make any changes he was very open to this. Arron's entire crew is very professional and friendly. Kelly, is also part of the Precision Builders team. She is absolutely fantastic and couldn't be easier to work with. She gave us so much help in the selection process, but always making sure to listen to our ideas. Kelly has a great eye for design and color. Arron, Kelly, and the entire team made the home building process very enjoyable and stress free.     “Working with Brian enabled us to build the home of our dreams. In the beginning he met with my wife and me to explain all of our options and help us pick a layout. He encouraged us to do our research to figure out what we wanted. He was very patient with us as we revised our plans numerous times. Once construction started he held our hands throughout the process. Day or night, he was always available to answer questions or address our concerns. His sub-contractors were all very professional and were eager to answer our questions. If we ever build again we will use Brian Ophoff and Stonegate Custom Homes.”

    “I have had the pleasure of working with Nels Ostedgaard on many projects of remodeling through the years. I can recommend him highly and without reservation. I love his high level of professionalism, experience, dedication and commitment to quality. Our jobs were always done with care and precision. He is a gifted woodcrafter. He can design new or fix old cabinetry to make it look and work like new. He always has great ideas for remodeling any room in the house. In addition, he is extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. I would not hesitate to call Nels any time for any job big or small.”

    “Winkel Design Forum designed a beautiful home to fit on a pie shaped lot with a 12 foot drop off 30 feet from the back of the house. They used the lot angle to create the same angle in the design of the house utilizing the lot angle down to within an inch of the legal setback. Others would have said the square footage we wanted could not be done!”

    “Gary remodeled our screened in porch. He wrapped the old cedar supports in vinyl, replaced the screens with Ezy- breeze screens and windows, built a deck and stairs. He completed the project in a timely manner and kept the site clean. I plan on using Design & Build Remodelers in our future projects. Gary is precise, exacting and takes pride in his work. I have recommended him to friends.”

Very nice Construction. Tim re-did our entire upstairs and started from scratch a new bathroom. Very professional.”

    “Mike is the best part of building a new home! He is conscientious, hardworking, focused, smart, and he genuinely cares about the quality of home he is building. He also has built a great team to complete his projects, from hardworking men working directly for him to honest and hardworking subcontractors. He is also willing to 'think outside the box' when we have wanted to do something that he has never done before...and he will do it right, by doing research, making calls, creating mock-ups... He is the only contractor I would ever consider using...and to say this 2 years into a very complex project is really saying something! Mike Kinney is the best contractor in Iowa!”
