“I reached out to Bat City Builders for advice on my foundation. I have an old house with a brick/concrete porch on the front. The porch has been pulling away from the main house (It's the Livingroom wall), causing cracks along the drywall inside and cracks along the brick outside. I've been debating getting this worked on for a long time and just haven't been sure what to do. They took the time to give me advice on what I needed to look for when interviewing foundation repair services and ultimately gave me the confidence to get my home fixed. “My relationship with AGC began in late 2020 when I hired them to remodel our main bathroom. I wanted our bathroom to reflect 20,000 leagues under the sea theming, and they not only did a fantastic job, they were able to help with ideation and some thematic touches, like our squid shower drain! I invited them back last summer to remodel the downstairs portion of our home. It was a huge overwhelming project, including our kitc hen, dining room, living room, guest suite (with full bathroom) and half bath. In the short time between our first bathroom project and this one, they had already incorporated a lot of prior feedback and grown their team. I knew it would be a difficult project- I had an idea for cabinet doors that I could not find anywhere, I wanted a rustic theme, but not farmhouse, and I wanted to incorporate a kayak chandelier we made, and I had lots of ideas of colors, theming, etc. The cabinets ended up having to be custom made, and AGC really delivered an amazing product. During the process they continued to deliver first class service. They established the work site with a set of dust barriers, and it really helped keep our living area separate from the chaos. Everyone who came to the house was courteous and professional. Our space was treated with respect and I felt comfortable with everyone who came in. Any questions and concerns we had were not only answered quickly but addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Want makes them stand out? Communication? Certainly. Responsiveness? absolutely. But AGC goes beyond even that. They really care about delivering a great product and making sure you're happy. We ran into snafus along the way, and AGC not only handled the issues, but they anticipated the ensuing chaos and helped us stay comfortable throughout it all. We demoed during the winter and had to get the gas turned off until we jumped through the permit hoops, and AGC made sure that we had heat and warm showers each day. Thank you so much to all of you for your hard work!”

The subcontractors were all excellent, as well. This work was performed in 2015, and we are still happy with it. “Tier 1 has managed a number of projects at our home in Austin. These have included rehabbing the master bath, re-insulating the attic, replacing A/C units, configuring outdoor drainage, and much more. In some cases the professionals used to perform duties were Tier 1 employees, and in others, outside contractors of their selection. We have had good results with Tier 1, with jobs generally being completed on time and within budget, with high quality workmanship and materials.”
