“Our home was built in 1965 and we did a cheap renovation of the bathrooms about 30 years ago. The kitchen had never been renovated and was really dated with inadequate storage and counter space. We called Sosna largely due to their excellent reviews and the fact that they had done multiple renovations in our neighborhood. We were impressed with their systematic approach and the fact that they have been in business for more than 20 years with multiple awards for the quality and design of their projects. We engaged Sosna to renovate our two upstairs bathrooms and kitchen. The initial design phase was orchestrated by Olga S. who was amazing in terms of her ideas and attention to detail with a thorough knowledge of building codes and space optimization. She presented multiple options and incorporated our suggestions into a final design with detailed architectural drawings. The construction included removal of a half wall in the kitchen and the conversion of a bathtub into a large walk-in shower. The work also included upgrading the electrical to a 220 V system with extensive lighting upgrades and the installation of a sewage back-flow protection valve in the basement, The areas of the house which were not part of the work were cordoned off with protective plastic shields as well as the floors. The products used in the construction were excellent quality including the cabinetry and plumbing fixtures. The construction team composed of Vitaly, Tony, Daniel and including plumbers and electricians was highly skilled and supervised by Roman T. The whole group did excellent work which we were able to see throughout the process from demolition to framing, dry wall installation and tiling. Olga guided us through the selection of key materials including granite countertops, fixtures, tiles for the bathrooms and cabinetry with her impeccable taste and focus on keeping us within the proposed budget. When some unexpected complications occurred near the end of the project, Roman organized a solution to overcome some issues with rotten plumbing drains which were hidden and needed replacing. Overall we are very happy with the finished product which was done within budget and earlier than the expected timeline.”
